Sactown Nail Spa

Their nails frequently peel, acrylic or fiberglass nails come off easily, and to top it all off they have the annoying habit of spewing insults (dont know the language but the signs of a bitchy attitude are universal) when you call them out on their mistakes or ask them to fix something that you’re paying good money for. The sketch location compounds the fact that this is not anywhere people should visit.

Im am never going here again. I been goin here for 2 years. Dealing with their rude asses.

If I could I would give Alex 5 stars as she is the BEST freehand nail designer I have ever met. I came in to check the place out and she did my nails and as an artist myself I was blown away by her designs. Her artistry is AMAZING. The shop is a little rough and I hate soaking my nails in a bowl of acetone so I tend to go elsewhere unless I really want a design. They do have an amazing selection of colors. Go to Alex, the other technicians I have had there have been pretty bad and when I have referred friends they have not been happy.

I decided to try Sactown nail spa because Sactown nails was understaffed and it was pouring down raining outside. I just wanted r get my nails done and to head home. When I first entered there were only two technicians. One was buys with a customer and one was available so I asked the technician (white male, blonde hair) what was the difference between the two salons and he replied with a snooty attitude they use different products than Sactown nails. Then when I was in the process of asking him another question a customer walked in and he instantly cut me off and as started talking to her. This instantly turned me off but I still waited for someone to come in.
I ended up with a nail technician named HOLLY and she was AMAZING. She was kind and super fast. She asked me if this was what I wanted before she did anything to my nails. She gave the Unilocal new customer discount which took a few dollars off! I loved her work and her attitude and that’s the only reason why I’m coming back.

I’m done with this place. This has been my nail place for 2 years and I now vow to never go back. Every single time Iv had my nails done this past year they have rushed me, messed up my nails, and given me attitude. This last time I went she was so busy talking extremely loud to her friend that she forgot to put clear coat. Mind you I only get gel so when you forget clear coat it makes it matte which is not what I wanted. I wanted a little gold piece put on my nail and she was so busy talking that she glued it on hella off center and because the super glue dried too fast she didn’t even try to fix it. THEN she covered it with clear coat and it left a big lump of clear on my nail. I wanted gold lines painted across each nail… Every single line is crooked or messed up in some way. This place is so unprofessional and ghetto I am completely over them and their horrible customer service.

I will never come back here… ghettofied does not suffice lol. If you have standards then you should not come here. Not only was it over priced, but the service is not worth it AT ALL. The manager decided to have an argument with a customer about her experience in front of all the customers… and then talked about that customer when she left. The customer had enough class to say she will not argue in front of other customers and left… to make matters worse, she didn’t do a good job at all… I could have had my 12 yr do this for me instead

Came here with a group of people and right off the bat they seemed irritated that we had so many people. It was a Monday so they were really slow but I felt like they rushed through their job on every one of us. We all got gel manicures and a pedicure. My manicure lasted about 15 minutes. She only applied two coats, no base coat and rushed me to dry them. Not only was she rough, I felt like she didn’t care much. She filed so roughly it cut my fingers. Two of my girlfriends were also cut during their manicures. Then they proceeded to blame their «new buffers.» Once we started to complain and tell them to be more gentle all of them would start speaking in Vietnamese saying mean things about us (of course they would assume we didn’t understand, but guess the joke was on them.) My nail lady then pushed me to somebody else for my pedicure. A man named Michael did my pedicure. He was so nice and sociable. Didn’t give off any attitude really made me feel welcomed. As for the other girls that work there. Not so much. Definitely disappointed and feel very disrespected. Will not be coming back.

This review is specifically for Holly. Been going to her for over 5 years and she is the best. If she’s not there I don’t go! She is awesome! As for the actual shop, very clean, front desk is always friendly.

I received not only the WORSE pedicure I have ever had, the customer service was despicable! The attention to details was minimal; when I showed Van that there was still dead skin on my feet, she said it would cost more money to do it. Mind you, I get a pedicure every two weeks so my feet do not have layers of build up. Then she got the polish on my sandal and got an attitude when I asked her to wipe it off. This was my first time going there because they had been recommended. When I complained, the other one said I don’t have to come back. She is so correct; they NEVER have to worry about me crossing their pitiful threshold again or recommending them to anyone.

Sactown Nail Spa is the only place I go to get my nails done. I’ve only been helped by Bella, but she is amazingI’ve never had a bad experience with her. For new customers I would avoid coming in without an appt. this place gets extremely busy on the weekends.

Mari is the best!!! I can text her for a appointment and she responds right away. I can show her designs I want and she masters the design on my nails. Sometimes I tell her to get creative and she does. I get sooooooooo many compliments on my nails. Mari is the lady!!!

Went here to get my nails done for my 4 day Vegas trip. I had to go back in after my trip because I broke a nail while on my trip & the lady tried to tell me I needed a fill on all my nails. I told her, «yeah I know it was a poor job done 4 days ago by someone in this shop.» I refused to get them filled & just wanted her to fix the one nail because I knew the shop had the right color, BUT I will not be going back!

Went in for a manicure and pedicure first got the «gold» which was 27 dollars. First of all they are a little pricey I have been to several salons and «salon spas» and for the prices I expected a great pedicure. My pedicure lasted 10 minutes from beginning to end including painting. There was not buffing nothing maybe one swipe. I was appaled at the service and how little interest the lady I had was. A good pedicure last at least 30 minutes especially since your getting a spa package. This place is horrible the painting was terrible so sloppy all over my toes, she didn’t even get in the corners. Needless to say I did not get a manicure I ran out of there. Go somewhere else not worth your money.

I only go get my nails done by tammy! she always takes her time and does exactly what I want. I’m forever a fan of hers and the work that she does :)

They have great customer service and bella is the best (i follow her on instagram btw)…I showed her what I wanted and she replicated it exactly the same. Everyone is so friendly compared to all the places Ive been to and second of all the actually listen to you and bella is super friendly n nice.
I’m definitely gonna be regular here :)

Update, so after my first nail broke within the first 24 hours after it was done I called the next business day and was told to come friday (4 days later) but to call before I come. Ok that’s fine, but little did I know I was going to be hung up on a few times because of Chinese New Year and the couldn’t hear me. (The back ground was extremely loud!) Finally get to the nail tech and she says to come after closing hours. Needless to say I didn’t make it– I have small children I can’t be out like that. So I just head up there the next morning thinking it’s just 1 broken nail and a cracked nail it shouldn’t be to hard to fit in. WRONG! I wasn’t acknowledged or accommodated so I left. Beyond disappointed that a full set I paid $ 60 for only lasted 18 hours. Frustrated is not even the word! Where is the customer service?! I’m loyal and I bring business to all my cosmetic small business owners so this is not a good look for sactown…

The best one in south sac! Very friendly and they actually listen. Thank god! Bella is my nail lady and she is always on point!

Solid performance, gel manicure looks good and the pedi was fine. The techs are pretty nice, they seem to care about what I wanted and adjusted as necessary. I liked doing the pedi and gel manicure at the same time since it takes so long to soak off the gel polish, so I got the pedi while they soaked. Overall fair price for what I got.

This place sucks !! I guess you get what you pay for! All I asked was for her to clean up the area around my brows and I walked out with thin round brows I was very upset plus they still wanted their money

1 star for taking off part of my skin during my eyebrow wax. Please see photo.
Manicure didn’t include a bottom coat. That is odd… but my manicure lasted a few days without chipping.
