A big thanks to all of the Staff at the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department! Thank you for doing what you can to keep our communities safe. An even bigger thanks for your understanding that you can’t keep everyone safe on your own and being willing to issue CCW permits to law abiding citizens!
That being said, thank you to the staff who run the overwhelmingly busy CCW program!!! They have done an awesome job on the vast majority of permit applicants! We all know that you have more good people applying than you can handle. Thank you for plugging away every day to help good people have the legal privilege and tools necessary to level the playing field and protect themselves from the violent predators of society. We don’t take this lightly.

The Sheriff’s Department main headquarters. You can get copies of your reports, get fingerprinted or live-​scanned for everything from getting a CCW to background checks, clear your warrants, and a bunch of other things. The front desk staff is professional, sometimes even friendly. Parking sucks, but it’s the same everywhere downtown. Close to light-​rail, the jail, the courthouse and the Admin Building.
