I’ve been coming here for lunch, (mon-​fri) for about 4 months now. I love this place! They are quick, cost effective, and have excellent service. They always remember my name, and 5 minutes is the longest I have ever waited for food. Usually they consistantly get it to me in about 90 seconds. This makes me happy, very happy. Nobody likes a long wait for lunch, and River City Deli understands this concept very well. Although it is a small place with most of the orders being to-​go, you will have to sit outside if you would like to dine there, but it’s a nice shaded area anyways. They even have a few gluten-​free items on the menu to cater picky eaters like myself. Love this place!

Excellent bagel sandwich and coffee on a quiet Saturday morning. We didn’t expect the place to be open but it was… great customer service, a bit low on selection but it was the weekend. Bagel was toasted perfectly, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Very glad we dropped by. Will come back during the week when selection may be better.

Fantastic little spot, conveniently located off Broadway in beautiful Curtis Park. The Thai chicken wrap was wonderful and really hit the spot for an affordable lunch option. Friendly service and decent selection of lunch items available. Definitely want to the try salmon cream cheese in the near future!

Guy at the counter was very kind, Gal in kitchen was quick! I asked to add jalapenos to my order– They took a hint and walked a side of sriracha out to me on the patio. The chicken in my salad was so good, I nearly broke my fork shoveling it in my face.

Cheese is yummy! Real grilled chicken on my teriyaki sandwich! I will be back cheap yummy and fresh! Peerless coffee is one of my faves as well! So glad I popped in here today!

Best bagel place in town. The prices are ridiculously cheap, only $ 4 for a breakfast bagel with your choice of bacon, ham or turkey. They also do breakfast burritos for under $ 5 which are just as good. The husband & wife who operate the café are friendly and provide exceptional customer service. Food is fantastic and I’ve never have had a bad experience at this place. They do phone orders so you can call ahead of the time and pick up your food which is great if you are in a rush/​heading to work in the morning. 5+ stars!

Cute little place with a cute little patio. They’re always quick when I’m just stopping by on my school/​work lunch break and the bagels are always fresh. The man and woman that I always see working there make me happy. I may be mistaken but I don’t think they use real eggs on breakfast sandwiches and I’ll eat them anyway but that’s my one criticism.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. But I was not a fan. All I got was a bagel & cream cheese & a hot tea, obviously I should’ve gotten the breakfast burrito.
I also wasn’t a fan of being asked 10 times what I’d like to order when I’ve only JUST walked in! Felt very rushed. Ah well.

This is a great niche place for what it is. This is not quite a sit down café and better than fast food joints. It’s the best in-​between place I’ve been to.
The food is inexpensive and pretty fast (5 – 10 min). Their breakfast bagels and coffee are a steal for the price.
If you need a 10 min breakfast on the way to work or a quick lunch, this is your place.
