RedPen Editorial Services was born from the concept that, for a living, one ought do what they love and love what they do. Know then that, as a client, you will receive editorial services supported by both enthusiasm and skill.

Meet the Business Owner

James M.

Business Owner

James McGibbon, the proprietor of RedPen Editorial, holds a Master of Arts degree in English from California State University, Sacramento. His coursework included advanced courses in composition, grammar, and instruction, that expanded his skills well beyond degree requirements. For over three years he worked directly with ungraduate students, providing editing and tutoring, and coached graduate students writing their theses. He also taught various writing workshops and tutored dozens of international students on writing in English.

After graduating, James spent three years producing training materials for various industries, honing his skills as well as developing extensive technical editing experience.
