Called and asked if they had mutton. guy says yes. Drive all the way out there and ask for mutton. the one guy says to the other«she wants goat. you didn’t know that’s what is called dude» ughhh ok. butchers who don’t know what meat is what? Mutton is adult lamb fyi. I was making curry so I said screw it and got goat. The guy doesn’t want to cut up part of leg or shoulder for 2 pounds. .ok. so he sells me the chops(mostly bone I will not use but have to pay for the weight) says he will cut it for the curry. I don’t know where all the nice end meat went but got a bag full of 1 th o 2 inch bones with a little meat on it. ruined curry. 14.00 wasted. Really bad butcher!

I thought the only place I could get top quality meats was at raley’s and specialty stores but oh how wrong I was. Red Sea has the BEST meat! They even made the complicated cuts that I requested on the spot without me having to make an order in advance. It was the best barbecue I had ever made. Will continue shopping here. They even have a bunch of items from different cultures which is really nice!

This place is good when your in the south area(more options in Arden). Great prices with a wide variety of meats you can’t get at the other places(ground lamb, goat, etc). The owner and his sons are genuinely good folk. I showed up an hour before they supposedly closed according to Unilocal but they were shutting their doors — and they still let me in to grab the things I needed. Pink Himalayan salt has been my new thing.

LOVE this place! Like some of the previous posters, I’m not Muslim, I don’t eat Halaal, but I wanted some organic food on the cheap. This is now my go-to place for meats, and you can even buy in bulk if your freezer is big enough! The quality of the meat is outstanding, and the prices often times beats stores such as WinCo or FoodMaxx, or at least within a few dimes over if it is. WELLWORTHIT! The staff is incredibly friendly as well, and has no problem putting in a little extra work just to satisfy their customers. I HIGHLY recommend this place, and if you’re still iffy, buy a couple of leg quarters(for cheaper than anywhere else) and cook them yourself. You will immediately notice the superior difference.

I’ve gotten my meat here a couple of times now. I started with the chicken and now I’ve also purchased the beef, lamb and goat. The meat is incredibly fresh. You can definitely taste the quality of the meat once you cook it. Amazing!!! Besides the excellent quality meat, the prices are just stunning! It beats even winco foods price, but your getting whole foods quality. The staff is so helpful and friendly! This has become my go to meat market.

I do not eat halaal/kosher. I’m not Muslim or Jewish. BUT there is something about a meat shop that sells halaal meat. It always tastes like its fresher. Like the farmer lives down the street in Wilton or something. My religious jeet kune do appreciates extra prayers over my food. It’s all good! The people here, regardless of you culture or religion are super polite and super helpful.

I have been shopping here for a couple of months now, since the dad isnt there anymore seems like the place is going down hill fast. I got sick from the sliced turkey, I dont think they refrigerate it between customers, I know they butchery does not maintain the same cleanliness standards that you would find at raleys, I have seen them eating back there, the butcher is always texting, i have not seen him washing his hands in between between. Just really surprised when I saw the cashier who was eating in the butcher area wearing sandal, now I understand why I got sick. I know the that the health dept would red tag the place in a heart beat.

Although I live quite a distance from this store, I’ve come to this store for it’s friendly service and fair pricing. Yesterday, I walked in and was not greeted as I usually am. No one offered to assist me in finding things. The bushy-haired teen cashier did not make eye contact or say anything. Staff needs training if they want customers to feel welcome and come back again.

One of the best Halaal places around, the owner and his sons — and the two butchers — always welcome anyone with the salaam and a handshake where appropriate. I go there primarily for the meat, and they are the sole providers of brisket for my home made corned beef. As a home-taught cook, I enjoy making dishes from around the globe and when I have any questions regarding ingredients from the Arabian peninsula or the Levant area, the owner knows his stuff.

They are an awesome halal butcher & store. I love their prices and service. And they always keep the freezer stocked with my favorite Harris Ranch Halal beef patties. This is one of the only halal butchers I shop at.
