History
Established in 2005.
I do what I do because of my own dog Ziggy. Ziggy was a fawn boxer that I adopted when he was 11 weeks old and I was only 18. I loved that dog very much, very, very much. That was pretty much all I did; was love love love. I would take him for walks but before I knew it he was pulling so hard it was hard to manage, and then he decided to start lunging at other dogs and people. I just decided to keep him in the home because we still had fun together and I would never get rid of him; but he just grew bored and more destructive.
I went through dozens of trainers and so called behaviorists to no avail before I realized I needed to change my own behavior before Ziggys’ would change. I had a lot to learn and a whole lot to apply. The last three years of Ziggys’ life was incredible. He was off leash running in the long grass everyday like the dog he deserved to be. I love you so much pig… I dreamt of you last night again.
Meet the Business Owner
Blair D.
Business Owner
My Name is Blair Diamond and I have been working in the dog industry the last 12 years. I have done up front vet asst. work as well as being a vet tech in Utah while going to college. I worked in various kennels and dog resorts as well as being a dog walker and pet sitter.
I did all these things while going to school but then realized I couldn’t do anything anymore until I figured out my own dog. He was going out of control and I couldn’t manage him anymore. I went down to Los Angeles to learn how to better provide and rehabilitate my own dog. When I came back and worked with still pretty much my most difficult case to date (because he was mine and I had an emotional attachment) I realized I was pretty good at this and could maybe start helping others. I never grew up thinking dog trainers were cool or that I would ever end up being one… But here we are 6 years later and Primal Needs Behavioral Solutions is still rocking it.
