Perfect Moves

We used the about a year ago the price and the service were exact ally what we wanted. I will be recommending them to anyone in the future.

I don’t often write reviews, but my experience was so positive that I wanted to pass on the info. Good movers can be hard to find! They were referred to me by a friend so I hired them based on that and the fact that they insure dollar for dollar as opposed to other companies (like Two Men and a Truck) who insure based on a % of weight. Anyway, Kevin the owner was patient with all my questions and fair with his hourly rate. Despite the fact that it was pouring rain, the guys he sent showed up right on time. They expertly maneuvered their 12′ truck into my narrow driveway space (no beginners here!) and then proceeded to hand carry my heavy furniture/​belongings to the truck since it was too wet to use the dollies in/​out of our home. They carefully handled everything yet they HUSTLED. Everything moved from a first floor space to a third floor apartment (no elevator) in no time. Lots of stairs and tight corners but nothing damaged, no problems. The guys, Scott and Gary, were polite and professional and extremely hard working. I got my money’s worth, that’s for sure, but I also got a moving co. I can count on for all my future needs. I will DEFINITELY use them again and will refer my friends to them as well.

I am very impressed with this moving company… we were moving from 2^nd floor to 2^nd floor within the community and they were very professional… in twenty mins they were done pcking my kitchen…3 hrs is all they took for packing, unloading and loading. Scott and jamle are the guys to go. very polite and quick without wasting any time. I would definitely call them up for my next move.

UPDATE —
The horrible owner, Kevin, texted me recently threatening to sue me for slander for my review! He said if I didn’t remove my review from Unilocal he would take me to court. He is an absolute bully! He also repeatedly texted me for hours after I told him not to text me and harass me! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Kevin is awesome. I moved this last weekend (⁷⁄₁₂ and ⁷⁄₁₃) and needed assistance with moving about 7 pieces of large furniture. I found their ad on online and called. Kevin was very friendly and professional on the phone and had availability the same day. He sent 2 young men over to move the items and boy did they work fast. He quoted me a reasonable rate for 2 hours and they made it just slightly under the 2 hour mark. They were very helpful and friendly as well. He also helped me take some items to the Salvation Army.
The only problem I had was getting a call back from Kevin. He said he would call me back a couple times and I didn’t hear back so I called him. However, each time I called he was quick to answer and was still helpful. I could tell each time I called he was driving, so I am pretty sure he is very busy.
I am so grateful to have found Kevin and his team. I don’t know how I would have moved those large items. I will definitely be using their service again, when needed.
PS. I am a single woman and I did not feel in danger at all when dealing with Kevin or the members of his team.

I called Kevin the owner on 7÷12÷2014 to see if he and/​or his team of movers would be available Sunday 7÷13÷2014. Kevin asked from and to addresses. He then told me he would call me back at 8pm to give me a price for the move since it was a distance drive plus to let me know if he could get started at 9am or if the time needed to be pushed back. I thanked him and waited. At 9pm I called Kevin/​perfect movers back and he answered the phone and said «I haven’t had time to figure out the amount to be charged but that I can be there at 9am». I said «Ok, that’s great but I need to get a price before we start.» I also said «I’d hate to get started and we both then not agree on the price». He then got very upset with me and said «Then forget it, I’ll cancel everything» then he hung up the phone on me. I didn’t feel it was necessary to call him back at that point, thinking he was prob still upset for whatever reason. I decided to call him back the next day to see if possibly he was having a bad day and just took it out on me. Kevin answered the phone and I introduced myself again and said that I was the guy he wouldn’t give a price too then hung up on. He said with anger in his voice, «yah, we’ll I don’t want to work with you and then hung up on me again. I obviously, have no idea on his ability to help people move but I am well aware of his business ethics. This person has no class and frankly shouldn’t be running a business at all. He seems dangerous if you for whatever reason SET HIM OFF. Be careful if you choose him to help you especially if you are a single female. I’d hate for him to take his aggression out on a defenseless person. I will never EVER call this company again and I will warn my fellow friends about him as well.

When I called the owner Kevin he had outstanding customer service skills, trying to work with me since I had no transpo. He made sure I would be able to ride with his movers. These dudes were awesome to the tenth power!!! I had Scott & Gary help me move from sacramento to elk grove in an apartment on the 3^rd floor. They hooked me up for a fare price. They not only picked me up and dropped me off to sign paper work, but went back to get my kids (off clock) That was so sweet of them. They were so helpful knowing I had no transportation. They were beast walking up and down these stairs in a 102 weather. One of the men walked up 3 flights of stair carrying my heavy mattress like it was nothing. I totally recommend the two movers that helped me out and will tell everyone I know to use them too…

We had a small move of 2 rooms into a pod in our driveway. Great service and friendly and competent movers, Scott and Gary. This was a last minute arrangement since the first company that I contacted did not show up. I would highly recommend Perfect Move. Kevin called before the movers left and asked me how everything went. Even though it was a minimum of 2 hrs to book and we did not use the full time, it was still well worth every dollar!

I wish I had read the reviews before I hired these people. They are the WORST EVER moving company. The owner, Kevin, will say all the right things about how he strongly believes in customer service and doing a great job, blah blah blah. They tore up my floors and scratched my furniture and then tried to say we were lying about the scratches not being there before. Kevin agreed to cover the flooring but then when I presented him with a very reasonable repair bill, he came up with all sorts of excuses and never paid. This was most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. The owner obviously has no clue. For less than $ 300 this review could have been a positive one and perhaps may have saved him some good paying future customers. This company was a referral from a business friend. Needless to say, that friend nor anyone he knows in his business will ever recommend this company again. FYI, they also go by the name of «WeMoveYou»

I used them to move out of my office with about 30 – 40 boxes and four pieces of furniture scattered through my building. I called Kevin a week in advance to set things up and then the day before. Jeff and Daniel showed up on time and moved like greased lightning. I have seen moves like this easily take 4 – 6 hours but they did it in less than 2, including unloading at my storage room across town. I am completely satisfied and would use them again without hesitation.

Fantastic service. Called the day before, Kevin said it would be no problem. Had Jeff and Sean (I think that was their names) come help us move. Unpacked a 20′ truck in way less than 2 hours. Great guys and easy to talk to. Haven’t seen any damage, but doubt there is any since they were great.

I needed 7 pieces of furniture, 2 heavy, 2 awkward, moved from upstairs and down, to my garage, to sell at a yard sale. After a couple ‘friends” bailed on me, I started getting quotes from movers via Unilocal & Craigslist. 916Movers quoted a minimum $ 300 for 3 hours ! A Craigslist response said he & his daughter (maybe she’s a sturdy girl?) would do it for $ 150.
Then I spoke to Kevin at Perfect Moves. Relaxed dude, with a calm reassuring voice, (cuz I sounded a tad stressed by now !). He quoted a minimum $ 20 per mover, with a minimum 2 hours. Said he could arrange for the next day at about 1pm. SOLD ! Calls me at 1pm to let me know his 2 guys would be there in about 20 minutes, and they arrived on time.
Sean Neil ran over the agreement of $ 20/​hr per person, with a minimum of 2 hours, we all looked at the clock, agreed on the start time, and I wrote it on my customer sheet and signed it.
Sean Neil & Jason were AWESOME !!! Immediately sprang into action. Very personable and assuring, wouldn’t let me do a thing to help ! As another reviewer mentioned, they’re constantly talking to each other, giving signs, working out the best angles, whether to wrap or blanket something. They are both concerned that each other is okay while moving something heavy or awkward, which is neat.
They were through so quickly, they helped me lay out items just so, to entice buyers at my sale. Kevin the owner wanted to speak with me to ensure I was happy with their work, and even offered, since they got done so fast, if I needed a piece or two of furniture moved later, he’d send someone out to do so. Talk about great customer care !
I can’t recommend Sean Neil, Jason & Kevin highly enough !! Just a really great experience all around.

Great moving service and came on time and just did on time without breaks and people were very good. Completely satisfied and would positively recommend to others. And the follow up to find if service is good is amazing and make sure everything went right.

My parents hired a mover for a Saturday who was six hours late. I called at 3:30 and they had two guys at the house by 4:50. I timed them, Jamie and Cody, it took them a total of 1 hour 50 minutes to move all the furniture out of a 3200 square foot house. These guys are fantastic and true life savers! They loaded the Pod perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to move. My parents will be using them again when they get the keys to their next home.

Whoa, don’t hire these guys. They moved like they were hungover, and scratched the heck out of our hardwood floors. Pretty sure they know nothing about moving, they just want work. Then they argued and insulted us as a result of damaging our floors… stay away.

Ok, I really want more people to know about this business and their wonderful people so I added their business here despite the only thing i know is their phone number…(hopefully they’re okay with it as I don’t even remember where i got their number) Parents recently moved from Sacramento to Elk Grove with their help, and they told me that not only this company charge the most reasonable price (which if you do enough research you will find they’re on the most afforadable side with both labor and a big truck per hour), what differenciate them from a couple other moving companies we used before is their honesty and professionalism. Parents said they felt the guys need to take a break sometimes (we ran into the situation a couple times before when the movers spent long time inside the truck tie each pieces of furniture with like a hundred ropes…). Two guys moved all the major furniture in a 2bdroom house fast and carefully and the whole process was only about 2hrs (and just to reference we’ve had one bedroom set and a fridge moved for 2.5 hrs before by another company…) Anyways, you get the idea how much we appreciate their work and would love to recommend them to anyone in the area.

Perfect move! Yeah right! Thy should call themselves never move. I booked 2 guys and a truck. And they never came. 30 min after the movers were supposed to be there, I gave them a call and was put on hold, for another 15 min being followed by being hung up on. I called again, and Kevin who was very rude almost as if he was the one being stood up, was like. Ow ah ehh ill try get someone over within the next hour. eventually I just had to cancel and call someone else. If you want to be stood up by movers, this would be a great match.
Can not rely on these people.

I offered them $ 20 to move an elliptical from a bedroom to our garage — a simple 10 minute job (That’s $ 120/​hr) tops, and the guy hung up on me.

They were very professional and polite. Worked quickly and for a fair price. They came and helped me move my apt last minute! They had a very nice red truck and they rented a trailor for me. I would def use these guys again… and highly recommend them. Plus! the owner of this business is super hot! :)
