Wow! Found the rock hound supply store right in my neighborhood and it had more to offer than just tumblers, rock and grits. This place is amazing, They a lot of books that gave me new ideals for making jewelry with my rocks. They even have classes on jewelry making. I know you are going to find things here that you have been looking for.

Well well well. First of all I can’t belive this place isn’t in Unilocal yet. I was here the other day trying to check into it and couldn’t, it wasn’t here so I decided to add this business! This is the first time I was at a lapidary. I was with my friend and we were on a mission…“a mission from gahhd.” Where does one find a micro Yankee hand drill to drill holes into stones or shells for a dream catcher or to make jewelry from your own collection? Pearson’s Lapidary that’s where. This place is how I imagined it would be. Similar to the old stone and fossil shops out east in the four corners area that cater to serious, professional or amateur geologists, paleontologists, gemologists, and archeologists,(that’s a lot of ologists!) that are dark, full of rock dust, polishers, saws, digging implements, stones, geodes, and rows of really interesting shelves full of interesting metal gadgets. The woman who served us, I can only think was the owner, was very very helpful and answered all of our questions. They also offer several classes including mold making, beginning solder work, and metal work. Come here, if for nothing else an really interesting afternoon and geology lesson!
