Our experience has been wonderful with the owner and the movers. They showed up on time, packed everything and moved all the furniture and boxes without damages to the stuff or the house. The movers were very pleasant to work with. The final cost was a little less than the quote and overall cheaper than other quotes we got. Will definitely use them again.

This company did a super job moving my furniture today. They were so careful and courteous. I’d have them back again and I would high recommend PacNBox.

We worked with PacNBox Movers this weekend to move our entire school and they were wonderful! They moved the contents of our preschool, elementary and middle school as well as significant contents from our outside all without a hitch. Their workers were polite and easy to work with, nothing was damaged, and they truly went above and beyond. Lou was also very easy to work with and worked with us to make this move fit into our budget. All of us at Camellia Waldorf School highly recommend PacNBox movers for your residential or commercial moving needs!

My sister recommended them to us, and they are great! We moved back in September of last year, but I could not find their Unilocal page until now. They were timely, convenient, polite, and efficient. They were very friendly and got the job done. We will be moving again this month and I plan on using them again if they are available.

They were upfront and honest about their fees. It was even less then they quoted me. They were fast and did great work. They moved my house into a 2 bedroom apartment with no issues.
I needed most of my stuff packed into a small spare room and they pulled it off. There were no scratches or damage to my stuff.

I hired PacNBox Movers of Sacramento to move into my new place. I hired them a few weeks out from my day of move and was a bit worried that come move time, I wouldn’t have anyone show up to help. Not with this company in charge! Approximately 45 minutes before their expected arrival time, I received a phone call to confirm that I was ready for moving (completely packed) and that I expected them at 8 am. This simple confirmation phone call really soothed my fears.
Billy and Lyle showed up on time and ready to work. There was no standing around making small talk, I filled out the paperwork and they began moving me. They took care with my items while moving fast and efficiently. They were professional and courteous. My 1000 square foot house was completely loaded and unloaded within their three hour minimum job time. I even asked them to put specific boxes in their respective rooms and some some stuff into the garage around back.
I could not be more thankful for their great service. They virtually eliminated all of the stress of moving. Although I hope to not move often, I will use PackNBox Movers of Sacramento for any future moves. I can also confidently recommend them to any of my friends and family

Have had great experiences with this company in the Sac area. I’ve contacted Lou & co. for various small, apartment moves, and the owner is consistently helpful, friendly and answers all questions even the dumb ones.
They have professionals working and I could tell the business has been operating for at least a couple decades. I can tons of moving equipment ready for use, large&small. Talking to Lou made me confident that he’s thoroughly familiar with the moving process and he goes all over nor cal including Bay Area

I love to these movers! Everyone was on time, they were totally prepared to work as soon as we got there — very friendly! Got me moved out of my one bedroom apartment in an hour got me moved back into my house in another hour! Also help me dump my old couch for a small fee, and help me drop off a mattress to a friends 10 minutes away — all keeping in with a reasonable price! I’m going to use these guys every single time I move in the future! Added benefit: my sister paid double the price with two guys and a truck moving company, and she’s super jealous!

I used Pack N Box movers for a small apartment move within the same complex. I was impressed that even at the very last minute (night before the move), I was able to get the movers right away. The two movers were very pleasant, on time, efficient, and accommodating. What more can one really ask for? There is a two hour minimum charge and my small move came it right at 2 hours. This only due to my lack of preparation because I was still packing when they arrived. My suggestion to anyone is to be specific in your requests (I.e. wrapping furniture, mattresses, etc.) and monitor how they pack your belongings in the truck. They had absolutely no problem doing what I asked of them. They even handled my Ikea furniture as if it were expensive. I would use this company again.

I have used several moving companies, but Pac N Box Movers were the best! The guys arrived early, started right at 8 am and had the truck loaded in 30 minutes. They were very careful with all of our items that came from a 3 bedroom home. Both men were polite and friendly even at 8 am on a Sunday morning. The price was right and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. Being locally owned, they will have my business and referrals in the future! Call these guys today, you will not be disappointed.

Used them to move from a 3000 sq ft single story to 2400 two story. They were 15 mins late but the owner called me well in advance to inform me (not uncommon for where we moved from).
Movers worked very hard only taking a 5 min break minus driving time in 5 hours of work. Nothing was damaged and they put things precisely where I indicated.
This was our first experience with movers as I have always done myself previously. Good job fellas!

After posting a review stating that a box was missing, I found the box among all the other boxes. I apologize to the company for the poor review and would like to say that the movers did a good job.

They did an excellent and efficient job. They were prompt and professional. They took care to protect our furniture while at the same time moving quickly to get the job done. They were pleasant and hard working, and made sure they were putting everything where we wanted it. When they thought the table might scratch the hardwood, they felted it on the truck. We would definitely recommend this moving service.

Dear Lou,
I understand that it’s Sunday. I understand the game is on. Maybe you shouldn’t own a business if you’re too busy and act like an asshole on the phone when customers are inquiring about your services.
Good thing I looked at Unilocal and read reviews before my husband booked with you. Our furniture is not Ikea/​apartment cheap and I don’t want our personal belongings damaged. Nor do we want you to win the bid because you’re the cheapest only to be surprised by the bill later. Take some customer service classes and just try and be a better business man in general!
Thank you Unilocal for saving me from a disaster. Thank you Lou for being an asshole on the phone. It made NOT choosing your company that much easier.

Found this company on Unilocal and called them out the blue. The owner Lou answered and sized up my job with an estimate in about 5 minutes. Truck scheduled next day which was awesome on short notice.
The movers themselves Buck and Jack were the typical type for this work, and were on-​time, friendly, professional and efficient, getting the job done an hour early. They went above and beyond the call of duty to clean off the dusty furniture that had been sitting for years.
Overall a reasonably priced and friendly service that delivered as promised. Would recommend to anyone. Great Experience.

This was my first experience ever using a moving service; my boyfriend recommended Pac N Box. Two guys assisted with my short move with their semi in tow. They were quick, efficient, and were armed with all the necessary equipment (dolly, ties to keep the fire doors open, blankets, wardrobe boxes, etc.). They even took apart & put back together my bed frame. One guy was dripping sweat, but considering the three flights of stairs and summer weather, I gave him a pass and accepted that I would have to wash my couch covers and wipe down my tables.
Cost was reasonable (note, I was moved only two miles away). I forget what the charge was, but it’s double during drive time (my drive was only about ten or fifteen minutes).
Without a doubt, I would use Pac N Box Movers again. These guys were able to do what would’ve taken me days in a few hours. While they may not be the most clean cut, they got the (dirty) work done with no hassle to me. I felt (almost) guilty being able to just stand there as someone else did all the heavy lifting.

I had a great experience moving from Sacramento to San Francisco. I recommend PAC n box to y’all. Great timining, very professional and affordable.

I’ve used Pac N Box for a long time, I’d have to say 10+ years. This was the 4^th time I’ve used their services, to move from Sacramento to Placerville. I’ve also worked with them when the company I worked for years ago used them to move twice.
They have always been on-​time, professional and fast. They are very affordable! Your expectation of what you pay should be the hourly rate, and you should ask what the hourly rate is when you call. I have never been shocked by my bill at the end of the move. Also, bear in mind that how much you have them do is going to affect how much you pay! We keep our cost down by having them do the basics.
This time we had Mark, Jason, Billy and Bucky help us move. They were fast, moved heavy stuff without damaging the walls or items, and were very professional. This was the second time Mark and Billy helped us move, and if we have to move again I would ask for these 4 guys. They know what they are doing.
I’ve also referred PnB to some family, and each time they have spoken highly of PnB. I’ve been happy enough with PnB over the years that I’ve not considered using anyone else.
