OSC Computer Training

Looking for work in the mortgage business can be daunting. Layoffs, downsizing are all the hazards of employment. I was having difficulty getting back in the game. My spirits had been down. I was dragging and my attitude needed boosting. OSC offered me the right positive learning environment and support to move forward.
I completed the MS 2010 course and also updated my business math skills. My purpose in attending OSC had been to acclimate myself back into the mortgage business. Lili and Bill were kind enough to arrange my mortgage loan origination class and allow me to stay on in school to complete the federal and state testing needed for employment. I took advantage of the Job search, resume creation, Linked in, Job Club-​all part of the OSC job hunt info.
All the staff and teachers: Kathy, Kim, John, Laurie, Kathleen, Jeff, Juanita and Lorie were always there for me. I picked the perfect positive school environment which gave me an optimal setting for learning.
I am grateful. :)

I completed the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) program at OSC and was hired by the state as an Office Technician at graduation. They have convenient onsite testing for the certification, and they suggested and signed me up to take the state test. There is plenty of one on one classroom help by the friendly staff, and the school is small enough to get to know the other students. Plus, their workstations are totally ergonomic. Even if you already have a background in an office environment, the MOS certification looks great on a resume and it increased my confidence during interviews and on the job.

I just finished my certification for Web Design and Programming. This self-​paced program was great! It included Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Illustrator, JavaScript, HTML, and Basics of Design. The instuctors are always patient and very helpful.
The owners, Bill and Lili Williams are very helpful and supportive. They go above and beyond by helping the students with their resume, interviewing skills, job hunting, mock interviews, etc.
