One star for food, but 2 stars for friendliness and service. It’s a small place and clean. Sadly the food is very disappointing. I was so excited for my com tam thit nuong cha and banh xeo. First, the com tam: meat was rubbery and had a weird color, taste: did not taste like thit nuong at all. I couldnt eat it. Their nuoc mam is also very mediocre and bland. Banh xeo: no meat? All we got was 2 shrimp and a lot of thick crêpe and bean sprouts! The lettuce leaf that came with it were the end of the stalk so they were little pieces that I couldn’t wrap my banh xeo in. :(We paid $ 15 for the two dishes, had to force ourselves to eat most of it cause we were hungry, left hungry. I feel bad for my review because they are nice people, but I wouldn’t go back.

I come here approximately once a week sometimes once every two weeks. I am surprised I haven’t written a review for this place. I always come when I have a craving for Vietnamese Crepes(Banh Xeo). As soon as the owner sees my face she asks if it will be the usual. Indeed it is! It is delicious! Comes out fresh and crunchy just the way it should be! The place is kind of small, some days it is empty and some days pretty busy. Yet, they always seem to accommodate us just fine. The food comes out fast! To eat the crepes, you split it apart and wrap it in the given piece of lettuce, then you dip it into your fish sauce. The way I eat is a bit different, I eat it with a rice paper wrap. So after it is wrapped, it looks like a spring roll then dip it into the fish sauce. Every now and then I am a bit adventurous and try other things off their menu. Such as their Com Chay Bi Suong Tau Hu Ky — Burnt Rice with Bean Curd Skin Wrap with Shrimp, BBQ Pork Chop, Julienne Pork & Steamed Pork Cake (Delicious! But I am not much a fan of burnt rice so I usually order it with the steam rice) Banh Mi Bo Kho — Beef Stew with Baguette(It was okay, not the best) Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio — Vermicelli Noodles with BBQ Pork and Egg Roll(It was good, plenty of meat, love the egg roll) Phở — Vietnamese Noodle Soup(Okay) 5 stars for keep having me to come back! Love their Banh Xeo & their Com Tam Bi Suong Tau Hu Ky! =)

Small town feel café type restaurant. Walking in you can smell the burnt oil on the grill. This is a small venue limited to about 30 people with tables outside also. Family run, you get the special personal service found only in the homeland. We had Ca Goi, raw fish with pickled vegetables. It’s served with rice paper you roll yourself with fresh greens and special sauce. Think spring rolls with sashimi. Pretty tasty. It’s only done by a few places, and then, only done well or not at all. Catfish in claypot is very good and had the touch of Vietnam with the propane table top stove range. We also had the catfish sweet and sour stew. Also great. 4 stars for the first visit. Maybe 5 next time. This is definitely a hidden gem for food AND service.
