We have a gallery show room where customers are welcome to come in, no appointment needed, and experience the various products on display, sample books as well as the great costumer service we have to offer. We do In-​Home FREE estimates, and Installation is FREE with the purchase of five openings or more at time. We are available evening and weekends for appointments too! We don’t subcontract people to measure or install. Darin Paper the owner, is the In-​Home sales person as well as our Installer. Ernesto Robledo is our Showroom specialist.

History

Established in 1996.

New View Window Coverings has been owned by Darin Paper and has in business since 1996, and became a Hunter Douglas Gallery in 2003. We have been at the same location for over 13yrs serving Sacramento, Roseville, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Davis Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield and more… we carry all hunter Douglas products, 2″ Faux Woods, Verticals, Shades, and Shutters.

Growing up I worked along side my mother with her drapery business and from there on my inspiration for window covering began. Now with over 25 years of experience, I own my company, New View of 14 years. Since then I have built my reputation and expanded my services to several local companies for both sales and installations. As a business owner I really pride self in customer service, as well as customer satisfaction.

I love the blinds that we purchased from New View Window coverings! Everything from visiting the shop to pick out the style and color to scheduling the installation was very easy and painless. The installation of our blinds was expertly and quickly performed. Every day when I open our blinds, I think of how great they look and how simple they are to operate. I cannot recommend New View Window Coverings highly enough. Darin did the original work for me, and Ernesto and Teri are wonderful to work with whenever I have needed follow-​up service. So friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. This company did the Hunter Douglas blinds for my whole house back in 2000, and over the years when I needed a blind restrung, they helped me like I had just bought from New View yesterday. That includes this week! They provide quality products and top-​notch service. I would not shop any place else. Thank you folks!

I highly recommend New View Window Coverings. I have had shutters & blinds installed in two different homes. Ernesto was my first point of contact with the company and he was so pleasant and helpful — very professional. He was able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable time frame for Darin to meet with me at my home. Darin came to my home took measurements, and made recommendations, Again, Darin was very helpful and professional. The shutters and blinds were installed and look fantastic! Prices are very reasonable. Excellent customer service!

I wanted shutters for my master bedroom and called around to all the local shops to get quotes. New View not only offers the best quote but also carried the brand that I was looking for.
Customer service was excellent! Ernesto answered all my questions gave me options and was able to quote me over the phone.
When Darin came out (great guy!) to do the final measurements he was very professional and easy to work with. He had some suggestions that made lots of sense (color matching trim, thickness to allow light exposure in, tips, etc…) and I’m so happy to have listened to him on those points.
Shutters came in sooner than anticipated and installation day went very well. Darin is an expert with what he does. We are completely impressed with New View and would highly recommend this company!

I needed a Hunter Douglas blind repaired. After searching online and talking to the company they steered me to New View Window Coverings, a certified dealer to repair Hunter Douglas items. Ernesto was so helpful walking my husband through what he thought was the problem. Instead of encouraging us to have them take down the blind and send it out for repair he thought it could be a simple fix. Three phone calls and a couple of emailed pictures later, Ernesto said we needed a new clip, for the sagging string. He ordered the clip free of charge. This is the best customer service I have seen in a long time especially when we didn’t purchase anything. When we do need window coverings, this will be our first stop.

We just finished an extensive remodel in East Sac and needed window coverings for the entire home. My wife and I knew we wanted to go with a Hunter Douglas product, but who to buy from? We got two estimates, the first from one of the «club stores» and the second from New View. The club store estimate came with a $ 400.00 «gift card rebate». New View (without knowing the club store’s bid) beat it by $ 100.00 with no silly rebates on exactly the same product.
Darin and Ernesto came out to the house and spent a lot of time discussing all of the window covering options available to us and offering a lot of great ideas on handling some of the problems that we did not foresee during the remodel. Darin was able to custom cut part of the shutter frame so it would fit neatly against the transition of the marble back-​splash in the kitchen.
On install day a three man crew lead by Darin showed up, they neatly handled the install and cleaned up after themselves removing all of the packaging material. We have since had Darin out to the house to make a few adjustments and he has been happy to do so, showing up on time and taking care of the issues.
Darin understands that he competes against the big guys, but knows that his edge is customer service. So with all things being close to equal (same product and competitive pricing) why wouldn’t you go with a company who provides you with OUTSTANDING customer service?

I wanted to put up shutters in my house and looked at them at a few places before coming across New View. Since they are a Hunter Douglas Gallery showroom, I figured that would be a good place to start.
Once at their showroom I met with Ernesto who really knew about the products. He helped sort thru all of the questions I had-​a real pro.
The owner (Darin) came to my house personally and he made some additional suggestions and took the measurements. Finalizing our deal, I felt that the level of service that I received from New View was far superior to the service (or lack there of) that I received at Home Depot and Lowes.
Highlights:
1. Service-​Both people I dealt with (Ernesto and Darin) were focused on me and what I needed. Great customer service.
2. Selection-​Yes, a variety of shutter choices, but also a great selection of shades, blinds, and curtain options. I put up a custom valance in my kitchen from New View as well.
3. Price-​I paid slightly more that I would have at Home Depot, but hey, what do I know about shutters? The personal attention I got here was worth more than any difference in price I paid.
I am going to be ready to buy more shutters for my guest bedroom and office. I am going straight back to New View when I am ready to order them!
