I just recently moved to south Sacramento. I didn’t know where anything was so I walked down the street and saw a guy coming out of this store. I asked him what it was and he said a grocery store. You won’t find a lot of processed food here. It is an Asian produce market. They sell BIG bags of produce for a SINGLEDOLLAR per bag. They grow the produce themselves. It is really good quality stuff. I am really on a budget and so I am really excited about this place. A lot of the stores in this neighborhood are not on Unilocal yet. It is a poorer neighborhood, but it has potential. I feel like it’s the best kept secret in Sacramento, so I am reviewing it to share this knowledge in a neighborly kind of way. You won’t find good produce like this anywhere else for so cheap. I am so excited. Inner city neighborhoods often do not have markets with fresh food. But this place has an abundance of fresh produce, cheap ONEDOLLAR a bag! and high quality. I didn’t ask if it was organic, but it is very very fresh. There aren’t a lot of signs, it’s kind of a yellow building. And today they had the lights kind of dim, I guess to save money on electricity. The young lady who helped me today told me her dad grew the food, and she spoke English perfectly and was super friendly.
