Mango Mango

Wow. I went into Mango Mango yesterday for a facial and an eyebrow waxing, and I have to say that both were beyond my expectations! First, the ambiance was great: proprietor and esthetician Shawna has created an environment – from the heated table that you lay on to the island décor to the perfect music – that immediately put me into more relaxed state. The heat on my back felt fantastic! Then came the facial. She let me take a whiff of different essential oils and asked me to select one. Once I did, I melted into the various steps of her facial… steam, hot towels, creams, scents and oh my! Shawna added brief arm, hand, face and foot massages as part of the experience. Ahhhhhhhhh!!! This would have been enough, but then we go to her eyebrow waxing, and it was REALLY good, too! My eyes look great! All in all, great service from an experienced and caring professional. I asked her before I left what she thought set her services apart from others, and she said, «Intention. As I’m providing each service to a client, I intend that what I’m doing will not only make their skin feel and look great, but that it will make them feel great on the inside, too, more peaceful, more blissful, from the inside out.» Well, it worked for me, and I’ll be back.
