Love At First Click Photography

Choosing a wedding photographer is no easy task. It’s such an investment and Tosh and I wanted our photographer to capture every inch of love, joy, and excitement the day would bring. Thais at Love at First Click exceeded every expectation we had. Her talent is beyond anything I can write on here. When we received our pictures, I was mesmerized by the story her photography so naturally tells. She made our genuine love come to life through her pictures. Thais has that «it» factor and an eye for the perfect shot. An added bonus: her personality is even better. As soon as I spoke with her on the phone, I knew she was «the one.» She is so likable and was so accommodating to work around our traveling schedule since we planned long distance. I just can’t say enough about Thais. I want to get married again so she can shoot it. :)

This review is solely based on our engagement session…
I won a raffle prize for a «free» engagement session. We exchanged a few e-​mails to schedule a time and place. When we met in person, Thais shook my hand and mentioned that we would have to pay for the pictures later on.
OH, so that’s the catch :/​«free» sessions are basically worthless. We were already dressed up in costume and decided to just go with it. Time was more important in this situation than a slight dent in our budget. Still, it’s sadly inconvenient for a bride to choose between the two. I understood that people need to make a living, but a better disclaimer would have been appreciated before we scheduled everything.
Anyway, we’ll happily give a 3-​star rating because everyone is right about the product quality and we paid for the pictures. The price ended up being equivalent to other photographers who offered complete packages for engagement sessions (yes, with pictures included).

Seriously could not have been happier working with Thais and experiencing her work for our wedding. She really valued our time and made sure to get the pictures we wanted plus more! Her photography makes sure that each shot has a story. When viewing the pictures, I felt like I was reliving the day. Emotions flooded back. I’m so thankful that she was our wedding photographer.

Thais does exceptional work and is a joy to work with! She was super accommodating and even came out to San Francisco, which is where we live, to take our engagement photos. Not that we had any doubt, but when we saw our engagement pictures, we were even more convinced that we made the right decision in choosing Thais to photograph our wedding! Thais is a lot of fun, but she also knows how to skillfully navigate the semi-​chaotic atmosphere that exists at most weddings! She was great at keeping our wedding party focused so that she could get the amazing shots she knew we’d love and at the same time was conscious of the fact that we wanted to spend time enjoying our wedding. She was able to strike a great balance between these two things and we have the amazing pictures to prove it! Thais is incredible and we will definitely be contacting her when we need baby pictures.

When choosing a photographer, I think it is important that you feel very comfortable with that person. From the initial meeting with Thias I felt like we were old friends. Her work is amazing and I knew I immediately had to hire her to film our May 3, 2013 wedding. Prior to the wedding she did an engagement session and a boudoir photo session. I have always been self conscious about my body but she made me feel absolutely as ease during the boudoir session and I couldn’t believe it was me when I saw the pictures. They are amazing. I gave the album to my husband as his wedding present and he loved them. Our wedding photos as absolutely beautiful. She is so creative and artistic that you will be amazed at some of the shots when you see them. I highly recommend Thias with Love at First Click Photography. We love her so much that we plan to use her as our family photographer and in just a few months she will be doing my pregnancy photos!

Thais is amazing. Right when we met with her, we knew we needed her to photograph our wedding. She is so personable, easy to work with, timely, and fun! Not only did she make us feel comfortable during our engagement shoot, but she treated our family like her own.
Our family and friends loved her as much as we did. To top it off, our photos are absolutely perfect. They are truly art! She is so talented! I can’t stop looking at my pictures and look forward to showing everyone my photos.

My experience with Love at First Click has been absolutely perfect from the first time I met with Thais. She is warm, funny and very professional. She was strong when I needed her to be (with a rowdy wedding party) and very calming with I needed to be grounded. She captured some of the most amazing shots of us and our family that I will treasure always. She has an eye for the unexpected and was able to capture all of the emotion of the day. After a horrible experience with the first photographer we met with, we didn’t know what to expect when interviewing other wedding photographers, but to our surprise we fell in love with Thais and Love at First Click at our first meeting with her. She’s funny, warm, creative and really gets a sense of what you’re looking for. She also found a way to work within our budget. Included in our package was an engagement session which turned out fabulous. She has an editorial background and it’s certainly seen through her work. So many people complimented us on our engagement pictures we couldn’t wait for the same result on our wedding day. Thais more than impressed us that day with her professionalism in how she got everyone where she wanted them to be and making everyone at ease and laughing. My parents who really had no concept of photographer fees, were hesitant at first at why photographers cost what they do, but after working with Thais on our wedding day and seeing the final result they were ecstatic and showing our pictures to everyone. We have recommended Thais to everyone… not enough can be said about her and her work. Overall, Thais is an amazing person with great character and creativity.

The people behind Love at First Click are everything you’d want in a set of photographers. Professional, on time, personable, easy to work with. And the photos? Elegant, high quality and reasonably priced. They had me after a look at their extensive selection of wedding and baby photos online.
So, I called up Thais and asked her if she could shoot a party I was throwing. Having studied photography in college, I figured I knew a thing or two about what it takes to shoot a good pic with a flash in a crowded indoor situation. I realize now that my photos would have paled in comparison to what she was snapping. Must have a little to do with the fact that she was a photojournalist in Brazil for decades! I’ll hire them again anytime!

Thais is the most amazing photographer! We hired Thais for our wedding and she did such beautiful job with both our engagement photos and our wedding day pictures. She is such a pleasure to work with and her passion that she brings to every picture makes her truly the «must hire» photographer if you want amazing photos. We have 1300 gorgeous photos to choose from for our wedding! Thais’ creativity with her photo locations, poses, and lighting make for unbelievable photos. You can’t go wrong hiring Thais to take photos for any occasion.

I brought my 10 yr old grandson in to duplicate a portrait I had done of my son at the same age. Thais not only captured what I wanted, but also took additional whimsical photos and black and whites that we will treasure forever. I HIGHLY recommend Love at First Click. Thanks Thais!

I’ve already recommended Thais to one of my friends, who has used her for her own wedding. She’s amazing, and she really worked with my budget.

My husband and I came across Thais while looking for wedding photographers online. There was a photo on her website that drew me in, and so we decided to meet her and learn more about her work. We found her prices and packages comparable to other photographers, but it was her desire to try something new and photograph in an unusual setting that sold us on her. She was upfront about the costs we would incur with package additions and was always willing to work within our budget.
Thais has this amazing amount of energy and enthusiasm for her clients. She is always cheerful and professional, she was a pleasure to work with! We had an engagement photo session with her, and based on the feedback we gave she adjusted the types of photos she took during the wedding. Our bridal party was quite vocal and a little difficult to get focused… she was stern when necessary and joked along with us the rest of the time. She was able to capture the images we wanted by providing direction to the group while blending into the scenery.
Our photos turned out to be a mix of photo journalistic, portrait, and candid prints. We appreciate some of the photographic risks she took to capture certain images, and those have been the ones most commented on by family and friends.
I would definitely recommend Thais, and have plans to use her for our next family portrait.
