Ms. Niemi practices family law in the greater Sacramento Area, including Sacramento County, Placer County, El Dorado County, and Yolo County. She practices appellate law in the First and Third District Courts of Appeal, where she limits her practice to family law appeals and writs. She serves as a panel member on the Third District Court of Appeal Mediation Program.

Ms. Niemi brings 18 years of experience, persistence, and dedication to her clients. She is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California, before all courts of the State of Nevada, in the District of Nevada, in the District of Colorado, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and in the United States Supreme Court.

Elizabeth Noreen Niemi (formerly Farley) grew up in New Mexico, graduating from Santa Fe High School in 1984. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rice University in 1988, and then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1994, where she won the Am. Jur Award for Moot Court, the A. Harold Weber Award for Oral Advocacy, and the William T. Kirby Award for Legal Writing.

Ms. Niemi began her legal career in Reno, Nevada, clerking for the Honorable Brent T. Adams in the Second Judicial District Court. After clerking, she practiced appellate law with Beckley Singleton Chtd., then worked as a Senior City Attorney for the City of Sparks, and also worked as a Deputy District Attorney for Washoe County. After moving to Sacramento, she worked as a Family Law Associate with Downey Brand LLP and as a Senior Appellate Law Associate for Jay-​Allen Eisen Law Corp. In October of 2010, Ms. Niemi started her own firm.
