History
Established in 1968.
Oren (Jack) Frost spent 25 years creating global corporate identities for Fortune 500 companies like Ford, Pan American, RCA, Eastman Kodak, as a senior art director and creative supervisor at J. Walter Thompson Company in New York.
In 1968, desiring more independent creative expression, he founded Jack Frost Design (JFD). Locating the company in Connecticut, with offices in Washington DC, the early days of JFD were largely focused on political clients.
Noteworthy examples from the early years of JFD are the Republican National Committee (RNC) logo and the messaging and identity graphics for the Ford and Reagan presidential campaigns.
As the company grew, JFD compiled an international portfolio of corporate logos, trademarks and message elements spanning the breadth of graphic communications. Add to that newspaper and magazine formats, a broad range of ad campaign «looks» and, well… Jack Frost created a significant slice of American business and political history.
