We boast more than 40 different flavor combinations that are sure to satisfy any palate and are sure to be enjoyed in our beautiful atmosphere of a one-​of-​a-​kind facility. Hookaholics offers entertainment in several different forms such as live in house DJs; belly dancers; live local talent; and so much more. Hookah is a perfect ice-​breaker and can offer a brilliantly memorable experience appropriate for your event or party.

It is the goal of everyone at Hookaholics is to provide you with the best hookah experience possible. Come in and enjoy a great hangout with your friends with your friends while making new ones along the way.

History

Established in 2011.

The origins of hookah come from the north western provinces of India along the border of Pakistan in Rajasthan and Gujarat nearly a millennia back. These hookahs were simple, primitive, and rugged in design, usually made from a coconut shell base and tube with a head attached.

When the hookah made its way into Turkey about 500 years ago, it endured a surge of popularity among the upper class and intellectuals and thus changing in design. The hookah grew in size and complexity and became similar to designs that we are more familiar with today.

Today, hookah has become a great social piece. Many young adults get together over a hookah session. On weekends, at Hookaholics, we combine hookah with live DJ, dancing, belly dancing, among other forms of live entertainment.

Like to come here on weekdays vibe is more mellow but all and all its a nice spot with very excellent customer service is great Christian who works in the front is super sweet kept checking on me and my husband very nice kid so was the young man who came and flipped the coal for us great employees

Horrible customer service. Asked for ice tips more than 3 times and never received it. Never checked on us and hardly turned over our coals. Don’t recommend this place.

This place is just flat out horrible ive been to lots and i couldnt believe the enviorment. The music was to loud to talk n chill every one was rude, its cool for younger kids but if youre looking for something classy and more healthier i would suggest somewhere else. They guys behind me snuck 2 under aged kids in without staff even realizing hope to see improvement next year.

Id give this place a 3.5 star. I try and go to new hookah spots. Mostly in the east bay and now in sac since I moved here recently. I do have to say that hookah spots are better out here than in the east bay. I like places that aren’t busy so I try to go earlier. This place can get very busy and they do sometimes charge a cover charge. I wouldn’t come here if I had to pay a cover. The setup is decent in here and the hookah hit pretty well. The reason they didn’t get a 4 star or better is mainly because their shisha selection and hoses. They only have tonic brand. I’m not too much of a fan of that brand and seems like just a over washed brand of shisha. I always go to these places by myself and I can sit there and smoke this brand and never feel any of the head rush you get from other brands. Other problem is I’m not a fan of mint and I always seem to get mint hoses. I like it when places separate their mint hoses.
Overall decent place and will continue to come on certain non busy nights because it’s very close to where I live. Good social place if you have friends to go with. It’s worth at least checking out and trying it at least once. Staff seems friendly and checks on you.

This place is alright went there for the first time and kool John was there and he had it poppin. I must ask tho around midnight this guy came and took my hookah while I was still smoking. Did one of the workers come and steal my hookah? Just curious before I come back, don’t want my hookah stolen again lol.

I guess DJ Mustard was supposedly supposed to DJ there that night. I have seen him many times and Vegas and have never had to pay to get in. The fact that I had to pay $ 20 to get in this place was a joke. The only reason I paid was to visit my best friend. No DJ mustard I don’t even think showed up or he was playing bad music no one was dancing and practically everyone left after 12. I don’t regret getting to see my best friend from high school but I regret come to this place to meet her. Waste of money…

This will be my first and my last time going to this place. OK so where do I start, so our first mistake. I guess we showed up right before sage the Gemini they asked us to stand to the side outside while they got the performing artist inside before we could go inside. I noticed how they were only charging 15.00 to get in but as soon as the so called performing artist showed up it jumped up to twenty dollars. Okay whatever 5 extra dollars I mean it is sage the Gemini. So I asked about it why did it go up in price. The lady at the door said all money is going to sage the Gemini for performing. I was like oh cool here’s 20.00. So we go ahead and go inside I order a pineapple bowl with an ice tip $ 30.00. Very overpriced hookah, can get the same thing at 90% all other lounges for only 17 – 20.00. So we get inside cram through all the people and find a seat. Hookah was alright, so about an hour passes and sage the Gemini disappears. Yes we were upset, we paid 20.00 cover charge on the intentions as we were going to see a big time artist perform. Guess not. about 20 more minutes pass as we are sitting down and all of a sudden somebody comes running inside yelling everybody get into the back they have a gun outside. Apparently two people were fighting and somebody pulled out a gun. As we were walking to the back I over hear what appears to be the owners asking each other if they should call the police. Only thing in my head was yes you should. What a great way to end the night .won’t be coming back here again.

I use to go to Hookaholics all the time but now its a hit n miss. Alot of younger people sometimes its packed with kids fresh out of high school. It has its good nights and some nights im just not feeling it. I hope to update my review and leave more stars next time.

Lol check this out, I’m here every single weekend. It disgusts me how OTHER hookah spots have to come on here and give Hookaholics BAD REVIEWS. Every Friday & Saturday they do cover charge which is $ 10 per person, no you do not have to buy hookah but if you wanna save money — it’s 3 people per hookah which is $ 16 something. Don’t complain about spending hella money, just be smart! A few of you are complaining about the music. If you want to hear something feel free to ask the Dj to play the songs you want to hear! Don’t sit there and be hella bitter. It’s no where no ghetto because they’re security enforced. Bad customer service?! Bullshit! The workers there are the sweetest guys ever! And shoutout to Halia & Wes (owners) for trying their best to make sure the atmosphere is bomb as fuck. Stop sending people to write bad reviews haters! Lmfao. Yall so petty. Hookah is fun for friendly get togethers now and then, but don’t waste your time coming to this location. The customer service had me want to instantly walk back out the door, and I should have. We were not greeted or thanked which is huge for any business. We weren’t brought fresh coals, never offered a fresh bowl, and when our hookah was not hitting correctly it was impossible to find someone to assist us. We decided to just leave. Waste of time. Waste of money.

Uhm there was a cove charge. Lame. The dance floor was small. Lame and they played a lot of stuff nobody wanted to hear. On the upside we met two compete strangers who were super nice and just told us to sit down and hookah with them so we saved some money.

Place is always fun to go chill and have a good time and unwind down. We always grab two Hookahs when we go. Music is not too bad. Employees are nice and friendly. We go on weekdays, and it’s empty. Keep in mind on weekends they make you pay $ 10 a person and you can’t go out and back in.
My only issue I had is that we are regulars and we had those stamp point cards where you buy 9 hookah orders and your 10th is free. So we go in with 8 already stamped. The employee stamps the 9th one and makes us buy the 10th one. When we ask and confront about it. He goes… «ooh I THINK you get it free on the next one the next time you guys come in» We didn’t feel like arguing so we let it go. So he just stamped our 10th purchase on a diff card, and we paid for both. Makes no sense… but that’s just not how you handle service. We always get ice tips as well. So if the owners or employees are reading this just letting you guys know. 10th free means after 9 purchases the 10th isn’t charged. Lol… no point of those cards if they want to play that way lol

This review is for tre!!! He legit makes this experience chill and relaxing he always tends to our needs always prompt and getting what we want in a fast manner. Other than that this place SUCKS. The manager just sits around while one person is busting their ass ridiculous.

Uhmmm. $ 10 cover charge for what? They dont have enough booths to sit at and they have what so called «vip» section. and they dont even have a bar! Highly disappointed.

I was not impressed. We paid 30 dollars cover just to get in. When leaving 30 minutes later asking for a refund due to false advertising the host immediately tried to tell us that we will never see a dime of a refund because when you go to clubs you don’t get refunds when you leave.
List of false advertisings.
1. The «foam» party was advertised as a foam party. The damn bubbles on the patio barely reached the top part of my shoe soles.
2. The DJs playing the music were horrible. And I like Edm music. But not with DJs that donk know how to spin.
3. When asking for a partial refund because of false advertising the lady refused any appropriate responsibilities.
Horrible business ethics. I will tell all friends and real hookah holics to steer clear from this place.

So i came here on a friday night, thought it would be super popping with a packed dance floor and theres about 20 people there with like 3 of them on the dance floor (From what i can from the outside the windows). So im like «Eh whatever maybe it will pickup»
So i go to the front of the line security was cool except for some random short dude who had seemed to have a severe case of small man syndrome (overly agressive behavior due to being vertically challenged). They check my id, pat me down, and there like «ok bro $ 10» im like «im on the guestlist» hes like «show me on your phone» (my friend put us on the gl) every club ive been to prints out the guestlist except for this one apparently.
So i wait for my friends to show up, guest list closes but the dude keeps letting in groups without charging them cover. My group shows up and he goes «k guise $ 10 cover» im like «lol wut?» Im not gonna have everyone in my group pay $ 10 cover each for a hookah lounge the size of a large storage unit and a DJ which consists of an ipod shuffle from 2005, and light effects from arcade area of chuck e cheese. When we can go to dwntwn (15 mins away) and pay $ 0-​$ 10 for a packed dance floor, banging DJ, and enough alcohol to satisfy lindsey lohan and her entire entourage.
Now at this point we are annoyed and about to leave and starts to make deals with us, «bro ok $ 5 cover and yall have to buy hookah» or «buy a hookah each and ill give you etc. etc.» Left to K street had a great time, will not be returning.

Amazing atmosphere! We came for my friends 18th birthday. It was 12 girls in total and paid $ 14 each for a VIP booth. We reserved hours before for a booth and got 2 bongs with unlimited refill. Pretty awesome.
I gave it 4 stars because it took a while for them to bring the bongs to get started. The place is a little small but it gets very interesting. The staff was so friendly.
At a certain point literally 90% of the crowd left all at once. Something went down. But who cares. My friends and I literally had the place to ourselves with a couple more people around. The Dj played regeton and was cool. I’m totally coming back again.
