Happy Day Spa

So, I have had good, mediocre and barely ok massages here. But, I can’t seem to pass up an hour long foot massage for under $ 20 ($ 175 cash for book of 10 massage tickets.) With its large communal room it’s definitely not your fancy day spa but it does the job and today Andy did a superb one! He will be my go-​to guy from now on. Hopefully he is still working here next time my body needs the kinks worked out.

I got 120 min. Foot & body massage combo ($ 65). I experienced lots of Swedish massage b 4, and Happy day’s Swedish body massage style are bit different then other higher price massage shop. Personally, I like other massage shop better (such as ‘Arden hill’) however, the foot massage was super great! Wow my headache was gone! Doctor mentioned about my neck & shoulder muscle causing some of headaches of mine but it’s gone! Nice job!

We came in on Christmas eve for a massage, they were able to get us in on short notice. The massage did help, but I have had both their full body and 1 hour foot massage. I think their foot massages are much better and the body is balanced more.

Everything from beginning to start made this one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Maybe the best. Relaxing atmosphere from scents, sounds, and comfortable beds they have you on. I got a 60 min foot massage but it really is a full body massage. Incredibly relaxing and got rid of a lot of the knots I had. I don’t have enough good words to say. I am going to definitely be a regular here.

I called and made a 90 minute body massage appointment for myself and husband. When we got the receptionists were busy talking with each other. They put out two towels and we went in. They took us to a large room and I knew there was something wrong. I asked to please talk with the manager she directed me to the restroom! I thought «forget it» and try a foot massage. She proceeded to «lightly rub» my toes for a half of hour. Totally worthless. I had enough I asked again for the manager and this time insisted that I speak to someone who could speak English. I explained to her there has been a mistake I never ordered a foot massage she said yes I did. That upset me because I know what I asked for when I called in. She said she would give me a body massage for the «introductory price» when my foot massage was completed.
This is my advise, make sure they know what you want. If they have a problem understanding you tell them to get someone who speaks English.
I left there pissed off. I don’t think that’s how you supposed to feel after a massage.

Great deals if you purchase foot massage tickets in bulk. They’re great for gifts. Ask for Jamal or Jesus, you can’t go wrong!

I had a full deep tissue massage was 5 stars with tony ! The facial was okay, nothing special, low quality products with meena. My fiancé had a facial with another lady and he said she was great. I totally recommend coming here for a deep tissue massage with tony!

I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s great! The first time I was apprehensive because it was a group setting but the music is on, everyone is quiet and doing their own zen thing. The employees are very friendly. There is tea, cookies and tootsie rolls in the waiting area. I do want to try the private or even couples massage one of these days. The prices are very reasonable. Very relaxing, try it out!

What an amazing deal! You go in wrecked and come out a different person. Buy the package and save even more money. Foot massage = happy body :)

$ 25 for an hour foot massage! Typically at a Chinese massage parlor, foot massages are actually a whole body massage!
For sanitary reasons, they line the foot soak bucket with a plastic lining.

My experience at Happy Days spa was exceptional. It exceeded all my expectations & then some! Not only is this place great it’s also inexpensive.
Walking in, as a first time reflexology patron, I expected «just a foot massage when I asked for the Ginger Crystal foot massage. Not only did my masseuse Andy, do a phenomenal job on my feet but also on my head, arms/​hands & back.
I highly recommend you visit Happy Days Spa, & ask for Andy!

There are 2 Happy Day Spas located close together, off Truxel Road, but with different owners. One is next to Comcast. The other is next to Starbucks. Also, check out Natomas Shopper for $$ saving coupons each month. With coupons, foot massage runs $ 18 and full body massage runs $ 36. New clients should be aware that foot massages only are done in a large room full of many tables with people getting massages at the same time, so no privacy. But full body massages are done in private, quiet rooms. The only other possible issue is the language barrier. Many masseuses in these facilities barely grasp English, so be sure to ask the front desk staff to convey any special requests (e.g., work on my shoulder, avoid my neck etc.) in advance of the massage.
Spa near Starbucks:
They have a wonderful masseuse named Wendy! She is very upbeat, personable, speaks great English, and gives a good full body massage and hot stone massage. You can chat with her because there is no language barrier. The only downside is she only works on Saturdays, so call ahead to make sure she is available. The other downside to this spa is the temperature in the rooms is often too cold for my taste and the hard sell sales pitch to buy multiple massages as you leave the facility, even with regular customers.
Spa next to Comcast:
I prefer Jason, one of the best deep tissue masseuses I’ve ever had! He doesn’t really understand English but the massage was so good it was not really an issue for me. I had a foot massage here with a different staff member, but I was not comfortable with the lack of privacy and some customers fell asleep and snored, so not very relaxing.

Just had my first ever massage here and could not be more satisfied!!! JENNIFER has MAGICAL hands and will make you feel like a new person! Very professional staff, great customer service and they want you to feel relaxed and satisfied!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Can’t wait to be back!

Affordable. Massage was great! I also liked their music choices, definitely «happy» sounding music.

My visit today at happy Day spa! I make appointments twice a month at the Truxel location. Kevin did the hour foot massage on me and I’m telling you he smelled like smoke (disgusting) I couldn’t wait for the massage to be over. He was very rough he didn’t understand when I said gentle. During checkout out the lady at the counter asked how was my visit… Ugh. I told her and all she said was I’m sorry! I will not be back.

Tried this place for the first time to get a foot massage. It was great! I’m not much of a full body massage kinda gal, due to the fact that I bruise very easily, but their foot massage is incredible. This place is just like the one off 65^th street in south Sac.

The price is great and the facility is clean. I’m giving this three stars because I went two weeks ago for a full body massage. I was having tension in my legs (marathon runner in training). I left with my legs feeling better but my neck has been in pain ever since I went there. It hurts to turn my head and put it back. I’m not sure I’ll be going back for anything other than a foot massage.

Customer service here is stellar!!!
I came in at 8:30 and the only masseuses available were males. I told the manager I would prefer a female, and he and the front desk receptionist went out of their way to call up their female staff and see who would be willing to come in at the last minute.
And a super nice lady did! I mean, who willingly comes to work at 9 on a Friday night? Altruism right there.
She really worked out the tight, delicate muscles in my shoulders, neck and back. It was literally a dream, because a lot of places don’t realize you want and need more attention in certain areas than others. I felt like I was laying on a cloud after she worked all those poor knots out!
I left smelling like coconut and lavender, perfectly moisturized and totally limber! Thanks Lulu – I will be back for more!

Unfortunately, the more I come here, the less I like it. Like most people, my first impression was that this is a cheap, hour long «foot» massage. I say «foot» because they massage your whole body with a focus in on feet for maybe 20 mins. There’s one big room where 15ish beds, you lie down with your clothes on, get covered with a towel and they go to work.
The first time, the massage was excellent. I distinctly remember thinking that the little old Chinese woman massaging me was deceivingly strong.
The second time, the massage was meh. A different Chinese woman this time, and she was pressing into my back with her elbows… I had to tell her to go lighter on the pressure multiple times.
The third time, a rough massage by yet another Chinese woman. I left feeling like nothing except my butt was relaxed. After I told her that she was hurting my back by pressing too hard, she switched to massaging my butt… it felt pretty good, not gonna lie, but I still left with a very tight back and perhaps even a bruise.
I guess in the end, you get what you pay for. It’s becoming very clear that these «masseuses» aren’t skilled and they do what they can with very limited experience. I bought the pack of 10 massages for $ 160 so for a $ 16/​hr massage, it’s still okay — just not great. I’ve definitely been so similar foot massage places around the same price for much better massage quality.
