We were invited to this park for a Memorial Day picnic. Esh! Once getting out of the car and making it through the wafts of pot smoke(I didn’t see anyone smoking, but it was thick in the air), past the people asking for change, couples making out, and all the dudes just hanging around we made it to a tiny graffitied up playground. I’m so glad we weren’t the first ones there. No one approached us as we enjoyed our food and our company. In fact the only time anyone ever even came into that part of the park was to dump off their child and then go hang out with the dudes at the front of the park. Our group noticed there was a really nice soccer field there, but it was all fenced off. A little bit later a park worker came by and opened the gate. The men in our group took the children over to play… only to be kicked out a short time later by the«fun police.» Apparently you can only play in the soccer field if you have permission first. My thoughts were«why kick the kids off the soccer field and ignore all the adults at the front of the park?» I’ll give it credit for the fact that I didn’t see any litter, but otherwise this park was a dud.
