My siblings and I have our Mother’s Day pictures taken here every year. We’ve been coming to HP Photography for over ten years and have zero complaints!
The owner/​photographer is friendly and welcoming. He’s always been great at arranging poses for us and taking professional quality photos. He’s also open to letting customers use whatever props they see in the studio and letting them choose their own poses if they’d like.
The prices are affordable and there’s several different packages to choose from! I highly recommend HP Photography.

Do Not go to this place. The old man who is the photographer was very rude. I read the reviews but wanted to give that place the benefit of the doubt, and I should’ve just listened to the reviews. The old man was rushing us even though there was no one there and very pushy.
I don’t even want to give this place a star. I’m truly upset and will never go or recommend anyone there ever.

I recently came here to take Mother’s Day photos with the family and they turned out absolutely great. We came here around 12pm and it was a little busy but completely worth the wait. The photos looked so professional we had a difficult time deciding which one we were going to make copies of to hand out to relatives and other family members. In the end, we made extra copies of all of the portraits! Definitely coming back at the end of the year for Holiday photos, but this time we’re going to come when they open and avoid the wait! 5 stars all the way!:)

Came here to take pictures for junior prom with my best friends. And I have to say, I was quite impressed with how the photographer had posed us and how the pictures came out amazing!!!
I’ve been to other photo studios around the area, but decided to give this place a try since other friends recommended it. The photographer was very nice and patient. It’s a small studio but there was a wide selection of backgrounds to choose from and plenty of props to use.
These days, studios aren’t as popular because of smart phones and selfies… but I’m glad I gave this place a try because now I have beautiful prints as memoirs for my special event!
I will definitely come back here for my senior ball pics! & perhaps even for other special moments! Thx so much hp photography!!!

Worst experience ever the guy who took our photo was very impatient and rude. He wasn’t kind and he rushed us threw our photos we didnt even have time to smile, so i dont know, if you like someone who takes your pics like that then go ahead but im looking for a place were i can go and be excited about taking portraits and they would actually be kind and smile and make me feel like im in the way or a waste of time

I’ve been coming here for portraits for over 15 years. My whole family comes here. The couple that owns the place are really sweet. The husband takes really good pictures. He can take good pictures of anyone. From babies to groups of friends. They do their best to get your pictures done from start to finish in an hour. I recommend HP to everyone in Sac.

This man rushed my photos and that’s how they came out. I wasn’t happy with the way he treated me and and it showed in my photos. I felt/​was rushed even though I was ready. Besides that, my lipstick was a different undesirable color in the photo as if he tweaked the color to meet his personal approval. I wasted $ 25, gas money and time here. He makes you choose a packet and pay up front so he has your money regardless of how your pictures come out. His customer service is the worst.
Now I’m looking for a better place to take inexpensive photos that I can be proud of.
The owner/​photographer is the old korean man you see in the pic. There was no 1 else there. His dog stank up the shop and the chairs were old and dirty. It was also very cold in there. It was a bad experience all the way around. It was on a Saturday and it wasn’t that busy either.

My Bf and I wanted to take pictures and He took great photos of us. This is an excellent option if you need decent photos, FAST at an affordable price. He has no sitting fees. And the price was very affordable. Yes, I am a Fan!

These places are wonderful in that it caters to large groups or a single person when there is a mood for taking photographs.
I went here and purchased one passport photo for $ 5.99 plus tax (but I was given 2 photos whoo-​hoo!)
The owner was very knowledgable about photography and I appreciated the extra lighting on my face as it made me feel like a model.
I will come here again for my photographical needs as the service is expedient, prices are inexpensive, and the quality is great.

For being a one hour studio, H P Photography went beyond my expectations. The owner and photographer’s name is Phuong and he did an amazing job. (Hopefully I spelled his name correctly) He is very friendly and has good customer service skills. Unlike other local one hour studios, Phuong actually cares how your photograph will turn out and shows you how to correctly pose for your portrait. I give him an A+ and can’t wait to get more portraits taken by him! I definitely recommend this studio to others who are looking for a one hour studio.
