Getta Clue Store

Really awesome little urban clothing shop in Midtown that’s on a busy street among plenty of restaurants, bars, and other retail stores. Atmosphere is awesome, the employees still feel like employees while also feeling like people you’re just hanging out with while you shop. They have a little bit of everything — clothing, shoes, cell phone accessories, skateboard equipment, and even a small women’s section with some very appealing stuff. You can find stuff from $ 20 shirts all the way up to heavy jackets and backpacks that are closer to $ 200. MY boyfriend actually bought a pair of nice Nikes on sale for $ 85 the other night. Overall, a nice hidden gem in Midtown that’s actually relaxing to browse through and shop at.

Not to mention when I went there a beautiful young lady named miya gave me great advice on what to wear. Perfect selection! They also have free parking in front of the store! Can’t find parking? They won’t mind paying for your parking while you SHOP! I will b returning and bring friends!!!

I just relocated to Sacramento from OC/​LA and have been looking for a chill spot to find all my go to threads.
Getta Clue has a great selection of your usual Urban Streetwear brands (i.e. Diamond, Obey, HUF, RVCA, 10 Deep, The Hundreds, Herschel) as well as a few other local brands. They also have a pretty dope selection of Nike Footwear (tierZero).
The store is right in the heart of Midtown Art Retail Restaurant Scene Sacramento (MARRS) which is IMO is the go to district for all things Sacramento (food, bars, shops). If i had to describe this area in 3 words: 1) Hipsteresque 2) Urban-​Victorian 3) Modern-​Chic
^^^ Pretty much made up compound words, but you get the idea. All in all, this is a dope spot and a dope location to be on the weekends.
This is my 2^nd time to the shop and every time I’ve visited, I get nothing but mad love from Maia and her crew.

I’ve been going to Getta Clue for 15 years and never been upset leaving. Great selection of brands. I always find cool colors and styles of shoes I can’t find in the area. When I want something today and I don’t want to deal with online shops this is the place to go.

I was familiar with Getta Clue when they were located at the Downtown Plaza, hadn’t been in a while and ended up stumbling upon it while walking through Midtown. The new location (open since January ’15) is pretty nice — fairly large and well laid out.
They carry your standard streetwear/​urban brands ranging from UNDFTD, 10 Deep, Primitive, The Hundreds, Diamond Supply Co, Publish, HUF, Obey, etc. as well as a decent selection of shoes from Nike and Vans. Overall, they had a good selection of styles & sizes including a clearance rack of shoes from 40%-60% off retail. Pricing is about standard for these brands — expect to pay anywhere from $ 25-​$ 40 on a shirt, $ 60+ for outerwear, pants/​jeans, ~$ 40 for hats.
As far as grabbing some exclusive gear, this is probably your best shot in the area — there aren’t many other stores selling the brands that they do. It’s also nice to see them supporting small & local brands. Everyone needs a shot and it’s nice to see that brands have that opportunity here.
My singular complaint for my visit had to do with the customer service. Granted, it was a fairly slow day (being pretty close to opening), we experienced the opposite of many of the reviews here. The associate checked on us maybe four times during our 10 minute visit. I appreciate the attention/​help, but there is a fine line between good service and nagging. Customers need their space. When I politely declined her offer to try on some apparel that I was looking at, she rolled her eyes and walked away. At the end of my visit she decided to not respond to my «thank-​you» as I was leaving.
Overall, decent shop. Checkout their social media (IG: @gettacluestore) for an idea of their inventory/​what has recently come out. It might save you some time if you are looking for something in particular.

I hadn’t been to Getta Clue in a while but saw some dope Kennedy camo sweats on GC’s Instagram (gettacluestore) I wanted to get for my boyfriend. I like that they post new stuff they get in so you can see it without actually going in. Sometimes they’ll even hold it for you via the comments. I was greeted by a super cute girl named Lesina. She showed me where they were & helped me find my size. She also showed me some new stuff & stuff they just put on sale. She was nice without being pushy. I really dig the Stance NBA socks– they’re perfect for basketball fans. Their selection of Toms is huge & they carry limited edition patterns & styles. The Toms desert wedge boots have not left my feet. They also carry The Hundreds for cheaper than I’ve seen elsewhere. I usually do shop online but waiting to receive orders is such a pain. I also get super obsessive & check my tracking # 5x a day but that’s another story! I also love Getta Clue because they carry a lot of Sacramento brands. I think it’s really cool they support local companies, especially since they are one themselves. I’ll continue to shop at Getta Clue & I’ll continue to support #Sacramento.
PS They have the parking validator near the register so you don’t forget. :)

I was in the plaza with my brother and we decided to stop by getta clue and the customer service was horrible. We weren’t greeted when we came in, the employees were just standing around talking, and the one employee that did notice us walk in just followed us around the store like we were trying to steal. We were extremely uncomfortable and just ended up leaving because we felt unwanted.

Terrible customer service. One of the worst I’ve come in contact with.

I have been here a number of times and I gotta be honest, they suck! First off, all the urban wear they sell you can find on PLNDR or karma loop for half the price. Second, they dont seem to care to want to take care of you. They have shoes, which are purposely overpriced. For example, they had the Barkley’s which retail at $ 250 for $ 320? Are they re-​sellers too?
And none of the employees seem to care to want to help. They just look at you and wait for you to come to them. I def will not be back. There is a clothing store like3 stores down and shiek that have better prices and actually will talk to you and welcome your business.

I’ve shopped here off and on over the years. I remember buying WU Wear and MECCA usa from the original location when I was in middle school. I remember when they first started selling UNDFTD they were selling there tees for $ 24 when everyone else was selling them for $ 32.

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I purchased my wife a pair of shoes for xmas. They didn’t fit… good luck arguing with the staff at this store for any type of exchange, etc. We asked what their view on customer service was, and they basically said they don’t care. Do yourself a favor — shop at Zumies or Tilly’s or Pac Sun, or online, or even WalMart. This place sucks!

So I was in downtown doing some last minute Xmas shopping and came into getta clue. The store was pretty clean and they had a dj set up outside the day I came which was pretty cool. Have a great selection of clothes and shoes especially toms. I have a lot of nieces and nephews and wanted to get some toms for them and with the help from Vicky she made getting sizes a breeze. Would definitely come back here do more shopping for myself! Great store and great customer service!

Came here to do my xmas shopping last week. With help from Vicky I got the right sizes for all shirts and shoes since some styles tend to run small. Also, they have a really good selection of Toms.

The service was amazing! I loved the selection of clothes there as well. Vicky was so helpful!

I have never received such great service. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They answered all my questions. The sales person, Maia was amazing not only was she friendly but was patient with me when picking out shoes for a Christmas gift. I will defiantly return just based off the service that I’ve received today. The shoes I was looking for were sold out everywhere but I found them at getta clue.

They do have a big brand of sections on clothing.
they also seem to over price on alot of stuff too.
i wish they can expand their shoe collection more…

I make sure to drop by every trip I take to Sac.
They have all the hottest brands of street wear (Crooks and Castles, Famous, Rogue, etc).
Staff is really friendly and helpful, but sometimes can be a tad too helpful and border on pushy. Overall though, they have an awesome selection and it’s worth stopping in.
