History
Established in 2011.
Found In Translation, LLC sprang into business as a direct result of the established relationships, the owner, Jamie Bonnette, had former with her translators. She was a Project Manager for another language service provider, and left because she did not believe translators were treated fairly. After some time had passed, many translators that she had the privilege of working with starting asking her repeatedly to start her own agency. They would tell her of the horrible way they were being treated and say they missed working with her. So, Jamie decided to open her own agency and do business in the manner she always had.
The result is a small company with a Mom and Pop feel that Jamie has no interest in changing. She covers over 100 languages and dialects, and her translators handle everything from birth certificates to Request for Proposal for Foreign Ministries; very small projects to amazingly large projects, all treated equally with the highest priority and standards.
Meet the Business Owner
Jamie B.
Business Owner
Jamie Bonnette graduated from UC Davis in 2005 with degrees in both English and Spanish, though those are not the only languages she speaks. She chose to study abroad in Sevilla, Spain her Junior year of college, and after graduation, she moved to Madrid where she became TESOL Certified and taught English.
Jamie has always had a passion for participating in and learning about other cultures, and has traveled extensively. After working for one translation company and forming close relationships with her translators there, they asked her to open her own agency, and she did.
To this day, Jamie loves the Mom and Pop feel of her agency, and despite numerous offers to sell, refuses. She loves being able to expose her clients to other cultures through her Cultural Consulting Services and help everyone with their translation needs. She treats every job with equal importance, and has the best relationship with her translators in the industry, according to her translators.
