Terrible experience. The bouncers are racist and the security lack understanding beyond the opinion of the racist bouncers.

I just want to know who is charge of faces Night club because the Service is very very slow I went there yesterday I know it was a New year Eve but I wait 45 minutes for a drink of like to talk to my manager about this

Love this place one of my favorite bars. It’s just kind of expensive which is why I usually start my night at the merc. But the girls are usually pretty hot if the place isn’t over run by dykes. Music is good and the people are usually pretty friendly.

Suffered a severe attack by Faces Nightclub staff after they dragged me from the club when I asked for water for a girl who was blacking out on their dance floor. The bartender refused to give me water and became frustrated at me when I asked the barback for a glass so she called security who then dragged me from the club. The staff then demanded I leave the area while I tried to explain to them my friends and girlfriend were inside the club and I was carrying my girlfriends phone. The security staff threaten to assault me after I refused to leave the public sidewalk. Eventually after several threats of injury the 4 security staff physically assaulted me without provocation resulting in a concussion and multiple lacerations to my head and body. I spent time in the hospital, couldn’t believe what had happen. I’m currently pursuing litigation’s against the involved security and nightclub owners. One the owners, Terry Sidie, hasn’t spoken a word to me regarding the events despite my numerous attempts to reach out.
1) No bar should ever deny a patron access to water, especially one requesting water to help someone in dire need. It’s legal to refuse service and charge for water however highly frowned upon in the industry. Given the owners haven’t put a stop to bartenders charging for water goes to show you how they feel about you as the patron. They don’t care, they want your money and nothing else. The bartender in question here is a horrible person.
2) Security staff should never attack someone who is asking to contact friends inside the club.
The security staff at Faces are barbarians. I’ve never experienced more unprofessional people in my life. My friends and I will never be returning to this place or any club Terry Sidie is involved in (badlands, depot, etc) and when I’m done fighting this in courts I’ll receive much more than an apology. I advise anyone reading this NOT to give money to this or any of Terry’s establishments. You are aiding a greedy and immoral system. Read the reviews on here, this isn’t a once-​off occurrence. This has happened to numerous people. Avoid this place.

Pretty awesome set up. Lots of different bars and DJs for each dance floor. Sometimes some of the crowd seems a little snotty or stuck up. Drinks are a little over priced. But all around its probably one of the largest/​nicest night clubs in Sacramento area.

I’m so disappointed. The front desk people tonight were so rude and it was my bday. They were yelling and very unprofessional. (Girl with dark hair & a guy with glasses) Don’t think I’ll come here again. Sucks because I really thought I’d give it a try.

Absolutely horrible service, extremely high priced drinks, and filthy restrooms. There are many better choices in the immediate area I don’t see why anyone in their right mind would go to faces especially at the high price of the cover charge. If you enjoy watered down drinks, this is your spot!

One word to describe this place AMAZING!!! Went with my husband and this was the best club we have ever been to!!! Lots of dancing! Great people! People complain about the price of drinks but it’s so worth it! 3 different dance floors with different kinds of music. The drag queens are beautiful! The atmosphere there is so welcoming and fun! People don’t hang out in clicks which is so nice! I like to mingle and just have a good time! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Three dance floors, but some how you can never get a good series of songs in any. The place is big with plenty of space to occupy, but the club is for drinking, dancing, and picking up. Drinks are alright, can’t dance to bad music, and the only picking up is done by rude guys consistently trying to cop a feel rather than using words like normal humans. But it’s a fun place to hang out with friends. The bartenders are nice too.

This place is so much fun. My girlfriend and I come here on the weekends when we are looking for a light hearted place with lots of dancing space! With three dance floors that’s easy to find. There’s 6 bars, 3 dance floors, outdoor hangout area by a pool with seating, an upstairs area to the main dance floor of you aren’t looking for the craziness of the main room, and three different types of music to tailor to hip/​hop, Latin and edm/​electronic/​future house (all fun to dance all night to).
Honestly, this is our favorite spot to go out in sac on the weekends.

First was my first time clubbing sacramento and faces was definitely the place to be. This place has a friendly environment and over 3 dance floors, each with a specialized category of music from hip hop to edm. The club is a lot bigger than I thought and there are plenty of bar spaces to order your drinks.
I would say the drinks here are a little cheaper than normal, typical mixed drinks were around $ 5.50 but were a little weak as well. Overall, drinks were alright, but sometime during the night they will have special deals like $ 3 kamikazes.
Tips for your night
1) when you pay credit/​debit, they make you get cash back? so you buy a $ 5.50 drink?, you also get $ 34.50 cash back. This system can be a little shady at times especially if you are not sober. They can only do $ 40 cash back. I dont know why but that’s their policy.
2) they stop giving out free water after 1:30am? I dont usually get why any bar has to charge for water, but that’s their policy.

Updating my review:
The drinks are expensive most nights, but they’re way stronger and served quicker upstairs at the bar near the balcony than anywhere else.
I prefer Badlands to Faces most nights, because despite the smaller dance floor, Badlands tends to have better music.
Sigh. Sorry Faces :(

I’m still quite upset about events that transpired at Faces earlier this week. I was approached by a female security guard I was asked to leave the club by her and another male guard. I had ordered one round for me and my friends. Their reasoning was that I was too intoxicated. I strongly believe that she abused her power and used very poor judgement in her «reason» for kicking me out. Even tho I cooperated instead of letting me leave thru the front door they forced me out a back door into a dark alley. Their actions were unacceptable and she ruined my (and all of my friends’) night. We will not be returning to this establishment.

We stopped coming here because it’s full of straight people who are consistently offensive and rude. My partner (cis) and I (trans) have BOTH been gender policed in here by other patrons.
I mean, HELLO, queer people specifically made our own bars away from heteronormative jerks who make us feel othered. Now those people come to the gay bar because we have better music, or more dancing, or because girls think they can come here without being hit on by creepy dudes. Why not try changing YOUR OWN CULTURE and YOUR OWN BARS instead of coming to ours.
At least bother to educate yourself before you come in our space; it’s literally the least you can do.

I love going to gay bars to dance my butt off! I know that probably sounds odd coming from a straight chic! But two things I can be guaranteed… one is a good time and the second is not worrying to much about dealing with some drooling, drunk tool trying to get laid and not taking a hint!
Having said this, it seems like in the last few years, Faces seems to run into more issues with the drunk tool variety. This unfortunately is the bane for most decent night clubs and they do deal with the obviously over friendly clientele and boot them but sometimes it is too much drama and we just move on over to Badlands to avoid the «fun and games» of those who cannot handle their alcohol and do not understand the way to get a woman’s attention is not slobber and slither all over her. But, I digress!
One thing that Faces has over some of their competition is multiple dance areas, each with their own music style and vibe. Which is awesome for dance-​a-​holics like myself that may be hankering for one style at the beginning of the night and want something else later on in the evening. No need to move on to a different bar, just move on to a different area of the same bar.
They also have a cool outside area where you can cool down with a great drink and some fun conversation with friends and other visitors to their spot.
Bar staff are friendly and the drinks good, so no complaints there. Definitely still one of my favorite spots to go to when I want to shake a tail feather.

Late review… Had a great awesome night celebrating The 1 Year Lyft Anniversary 11÷8÷14 at Faces… We had the club to ourselves, great drink promos at a very discounted rate… I can not ask more.
Great music, and oh man… Dixie was amazing at her performance… She did a couple singing and O M G. I’m speechless…
I must say overall the best night club ever compared to Club Social… And what amazing Go Go Dancers can ask for… Although some were alright looking, not enough hotties. Lol. Will be back again, maybe a month from now for New Years… Just maybe. And will be taking a Lyft with a free $ 25 ride from Lyft using promo code «JOEY1435». Promo code doesn’t expire. Go take a Lyft, and please don’t drink and drive.
