Eliot and his wife, Debbie (Metzger), have been married for over 24 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Michael and Noah. Michael just obtained his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Oregon in journalism. He is working for Microsoft in Seattle, Washington. Noah just started his 3rd year at UCLA. He is spending a semester in Spain presently. The Reiner-​Metzger clan make their home in Sacramento, CA.

Eliot has been a California attorney for nearly 25 years, the first seven of which were spent representing insurance companies and defending their insureds. For the last 18 years, he has had the privilege of representing personal injury victims throughout Northern California. Eliot Reiner is not your ordinary personal injury attorney. My husband was in a hit and run motorcycle accident whereby a car changed lanes without warning and clipped his front tire. From the beginning, this situation was difficult as witnesses saw something different than what my husband experienced. We knew we needed legal help as our insurance company refused to pay, and we knew my husband would have long-​term physical disabilities. By word of mouth, Mr. Eliot Reiner was recommended to us. During the first meeting, we knew Eliot was the person we wanted to work our case. He was professional, caring, and always wanted to do the right thing for us by working hard on our behalf. In 36 years of marriage, we have never sued anyone, so this was all new to us. Eliot helped us to understand the legal process and he even asked for our ideas/​inputs on our case; he worked tiredlessly on our case that was not black and white by any means. Eliot does not fit the «attorney stereotype» as he only takes on cases whereby he believes the person was done wrong, then works his magic as he won our case!

When my husband was in a car accident, my first priority was to make sure he was okay. My second priority was to make sure he was going to be taken care of for the long haul. From the minute we hired Eliot, I stopped worrying. Immediately, we knew we had a strong advocate on our side that helped guide us and helped us realize that where we could continue to be positive, despite the neurological changes and physical injuries, we needed to be realistic and address the issues now, with our doctors, to ensure that my husband would have the best outcome for the future, for his health and for our family’s. Accidents are certainly, just that, however, when an accident takes a point of time and changes your life so much so that you have to relate to a «new normal» there isn’t any amount of money that can fix that, however, there is a settlement that can ensure things are taken care of in the future to address the long term. In January of 2012, I was working on another person’s property. I was assigned to cut vines on top of a wood trellis. I fell off and I suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and a spinal injury. I ended up with a concussion, a contusion, and three ruptured spinal ligaments, and I spent a week in the hospital. At the time, I was a minor, only 14 years old, so workers’ compensation was not an option. The day after the accident, I met Eliot. From the moment I met him, he was extremely professional and assured me and my family that he would take care of everything. After dealing with insurance companies, we finally settled in March of 2014. I cannot begin to describe how much Eliot has helped my family and I. Not only does he know what he’s doing, but he also makes an effort to explain the legal processes to his clients as well. Me and two of my friends got into a car accident about two years ago and decided that it would be a good idea to lawyer up! We all met with Elliot and he gave us a very informative and in depth run down of things to expect (as we had no prior experience). He was very warm, welcoming and funny! After we left we went back to our normal lives, as if nothing had happened! He contacted us when things were needed and he always had good advice to give. When it came time to settle he pushed hard for us to get what we deserved and what’s more is that he lowered his cut off the settlement because he didn’t feel that he needed to be paid more than us! I was the victim in a terrible auto accident that occurred in 2007. The behavior of the insurance company early on prompted me to find an attorney to represent me so that I could focus on my rehab. I didn’t know how to find one, so I asked a career insurance broker. He told me to find the personal injury lawyer that the insurance companies fear. Eliot Reiner is that attorney. He has a very systematic approach that focuses on getting you evaluated and healed as best as possible before he seeks damages. And get this, we went into arbitration with a target number. He is such a bulldog that he caused the opposition to eventually accept that number. Where to even start… this was easily one of the best experience I have had with a business! The fact that it was a law firm was even more spectacular. My experience with lawyers has not been the best but Eliot and his staff has shown me that the others were just not really about the client. They were always extremely polite and very personable. I always felt like I was his only client even though I know I was not. Eliot and his team were always there to answer questions and help me out in a time that i really didn’t want to have to worry about my case.
