Specialties

We teach martial arts classes and self defense seminars for people of all ages. We have a Transported After School Martial Arts program in our Natomas and East Sacramento location.

We teach Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do which is a blended art with Tae Kwon Do, yudo, and street defense, and weapons being a large part of the art.

We also teach Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu at our East Sacramento school.

For those non-​martial artist we have a Zumba at our Natomas school and a Yoga program at our East Sacramento program.

Our school is a great family school for all to learn and grow. We stress the values of the martial arts such as integrity, courage, self control and having a strong spirit. We build confidence.

If you want a place to learn great martial arts as well as developing life skills then Dragon Fire is an excellent place to train in the way of martial arts.

History

Established in 1993.

Dragon Fire Martial Arts, Inc. has been an established school in East Sacramento for 20 years.

We have been teaching in Natomas for 6 years.

We are deveoted to our students and our art. We care about the progress of each student.

We have a 20 year history of doing self defense seminars for adults and our Children’s «Run, Yell, and Tell» seminars has been taught throughout the Sacramento area, in day cares, private schools and public elementarty schools.

We care about the communitys we are involved in and work with the Sacramento Police Athletic League to help provide martial arts to those need a positive outlet for their energy.

We also work with the Sidekick Foundation to provide scholarhships to children who would love to do martial arts, but do not have the funds.

We are also involved with regional tournaments and compete in the GSKA, as well as local jujitsu tournaments.

We are know for being passionate about our art, and devoted to our students.

Business Owner

I am Lois Skidmore the Master Instructor of Dragon Fire Martial Arts, Inc. I have over 35 years of martial arts experience. I have my 7^th Degree black belt in Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do, 3^rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and continue to study other arts.

I love teaching the martial arts to children, because they are the future of the arts. I enjoy knowing I have had a part in giving them the tools they need to be great martial artist and great citizens.

I love teaching martial arts to adults and watching them grow in technique and see them develop skills that will help them in every area of their lives.

I continue to train in the different arts myself because I want to continually learn grow and challenge my abilities. Martial arts are constantly changing and evolving while maintaing their 2500 year history. There is always something great to learn when you start training.
