History

Established in 2008.

Design Octopus was born back in the 90’s while studying Graphic Design in San Francisco. After working in the Flexography field for a couple of years, the founder moved back to Sacramento and quickly was employed in the signs/​banners industry where he worked for several years learning the sign industry inside and out. After a few years he moved on to a position with the State of California as a Graphic Designer.

Seeing a lack of design in the sign industry and also seeing the ridiculous prices of PR firms, the founder decided to meld both his graphic design background with his sign background… which created Design Octopus!

Design Octopus offers a high-​end design at a sign shop price! Quality, style, personal attention and fast turnarounds are what we offer.

Business Owner

Grown in Sacramento, CA. Moved to San Francisco to study Graphic Design, Computer Graphic Design and 3-​d Animation. Worked in the bay area for a few years in the flexography field and returned to Sacramento.

I have a strong need to see things grow. Whether it’s on a personal level or for you, our clients. I feel we all need to see progress, to make something out of nothing and even after we’ve done that… I believe there’s still more. Creating. Creativity. Growth. Fun. Excitement. Let’s create something big together! Let’s not rest until we get to where we want to be… then take it all in and go some more!
