Patrina is very helpful and full of energy and personality. Pregnant and all and she still wanted to gather my luggage from baggage claim. She has great customer service. Thank you for your assistance

loved delta. 2 of my flights had the video screen on seat in front of me and i used flight tracker to see the flight across the states. the attendents were all nice. the cheese, fruit and nut platter was delicious. delta offers bereavement flights too. i plan on tryiing to fly delta if i can in the future.

Complaining about an airline isn’t exactly original or even particularly interesting, but I’M GOING TO ANYWAY, ha ha ha…
…and more specifically I’m going to write this scintillatingly sweet review about one Delta gate agent in the Sacramento airport. In front of a line of passengers, she gave me a passive-​aggressive, 5-​minute «tsk tsk tsk» lecture about checking my email and my voicemail on days I travel. This lecture was just so Twilight Zone that two days later I still don’t quite understand it…
She told me she had tried to contact me so that she could switch me to a flight that left several hours earlier on another carrier. Why the hell would I have wanted to do that?
She then told me that I had not responded to her announcement regarding passengers who had checked in using the app. I didn’t use the app, so…
After inexplicably changing me to a different seat, she then admonished me for not replying to her voicemail. I said I hadn’t received one. She said «yes, I called you at your San Antonio number.» I told her I’m from Seattle and I’ve never been to San Antonio in my life. She replied that I was wrong and that I have a San Antonio phone number, rendering me speechless. I gave up. You win, Incomprehensible Person.
All of this was in front of other passengers and delivered in a snippy, condescending tone that says «I’m using small simple words for you, Mr. Moron.» Thanks. My simple, small words back to her are «you are bad at what you do.» If you want to talk to people as if they’re simpletons, get a job for the Trump campaign.

I bought tickets 2 and a half months in advance, and I paid extra to upgrade to Comfort+ (extra legroom, priority boarding, etc.). Next day I called to reschedule the return flight. They charged me $ 110 to reschedule, AND they deleted my Comfort+ upgrade without warning me or refunding it. I noticed Comfort+ and my reserved seats missing from my itinerary and called them back. They told me, «You made a voluntary change to your flight, so Comfort+ goes away.»
I then tried to back out of the whole thing, but refunds are not allowed. So I spent $ 110 to lose my upgrade. Also, in my calls to customer service, I got an underling who put me on hold several times to talk with her supervisor. I finally asked to speak directly to the supervisor, and he would not get on the line. Finally, I convinced them to undo the change that had cost me $ 110 and Comfort+ and to refund that money. But when they undid the change, they put me on a different flight from the one I had originally scheduled. So they didn’t really undo the $ 110 change; they just made a random change of their own.
I know Delta has low prices, but if you choose to fly with them DO NOT dare try to make any changes, because they will rip you off. Here is what I expected, «Sir, I understand your return flight is 10 weeks from now, and you want to change it to one day later. Is that right? Of course I will make this change at no extra cost.» I got the opposite. This is just abuse.

Deltas ok. Nothing to complain about. We boarded a small plane and the ride went smooth specially flying with a toddler who is a first time flyer too. They served drinks and snacks which is perfect! Helps calm hungry kids! The flight was supposed to be delayed but we actually boarded ahead of time! Must be our lucky day! Short flight from Sac to Seattle!

I just flew Delta to Minneapolis and then onto Chicago O’ Hare. They talk about the hospitality in Minneapolis being one of the best in the nation but I would say that it does not apply to the ticket staff for Delta at this airport. I had a connecting flight to Chicago from MN and I went to ask the lady at the ticket counter which direction I needed to go for my next flight because I could not get close enough to see the screen that listed the flights. She sighed and said as she pointed, «Just go that way!» I immediately could tell that she possibly was employee of the month just the way she handled herself. Here is the other problem that I have with this airline and that is they tend to overbook their flights and the overhead luggage goes right after the first group gets into the aircraft. I am not a big fan of this airline and would not prefer to fly with them again. I did land and I am in one piece which is a good thing so I give them three stars. Staff needs to learn some customer skills.

Pretty rare to give an airline 5 stars but Delta earned it today.
Truth be told I normally fly another airline but due to my schedule Delta had a flight that matched my business needs.
At every point the staff was courteous, kind and professional to me and all of the other guests.
Our flight left on time and arrived early.
My bags came right out on the carousel and I was able to get to my meeting right on time!

Worst airline ever! I only fly them when I HAVE to now. I wish I could give them ZERO STARS!!! This is the FIFTH flight out of SIX that they have screwed me. 3 in a row they lost my baggage, with the last of those it coming back to me 11 days later, soaked through & through and badly damaged by subsequent mildew that had set in. Delta said all they could do was a $ 75 credit for the bad and $ 100 max on the clothes, so I had to file a claim via a lawyer to get the $ 1300 they owed me. Grrrrr…
The next flight (last November) went smoothly. Then… Delta started screwing with me again. December 2^nd I had to fly to Atlanta, and had made my reservation 6 weeks before. The day before departure as I was checking into my flight they inform me they have changed my direct reservation from a 6 AM departure to a red-​eye with a layover!!! NO ADVANCE NOTIFICATION OR ANYTHING!!! Had to fight with them over that, as now the flight was full as they gave my seat away. A CONFIRMED SEAT!!! Their excuse? «Sorry… the system SHOULD have emailed you about that.»
And now today… Checking in for tomorrow’s flight to San Diego via LAX for a business conference… And the jerks changed my reservation AGAIN! Had to fight AGAIN to get an arrival by 1:00 PM to get to my meeting vs the 10:25 PM arrival they had pushed me to. AGAIN without any notification.
WORST AIRLINE EVER!!!

Flying on Delta airlines sacramento to minneapolis on Dec 20^th. The pilot was OUTSTANDING. He came out & spoke to us. He showed children the cockpit. He spoke on the intercom keeping us informed of qhere were flying over. It would be a 5 star for him. What brought it down in rating was a very snotty, dark haired flight attendant who had a nasty expression all the time & pretended she didn’t hear us when we tried to get her attention. We were in first class so not sure if that was her only area so if that helps in identifying her. She was an older flight attendant so maybe she is burned out. If so, the retire! It is not a joy to fly with that kind of attendant.

Delta Airlines has horrible customer service. Even worse, the customer support team via telephone is horrible as well. There was absolutely no accommodations for my son who was diverted to another airport due to weather conditions Montana. We paid for a ticket to Butte, Mt and he ended up in Bozeman. IF anyone flies in that direction, you are shit out of luck. Prepare to spend extra money on a hotel. We will NEVER use Delta Airlines again. I spoke to 4 different employees, the supervisor was the worse. Delta is only as good as their leaders. The leaders/​supervisors are horrible. NEVER AGAIN!

Every single time I fly with Delta — without fail — my flight gets delayed. Rebook with another airline that is more reliable! I’ve wasted my time and money with this airline. Not worth it.

I’ve been flying delta for awhile, I was not impressed with my flight from LA to Sacramento. The flight attendant, Kenesha, specifically, was not very friendly. The other flight attendant that was with her was waaay better and friendly with a smile on her face. I had to repeat myself a couple of times just to ask her if they had biscotti Coz that’s what I usually get when I flying with delta, and she just gave me a «no.» then I saw that they did have biscotti! I would think flight attendants are trained to be professional, friendly, and try their best to make sure that the clients have the best experience flying with delta so that they would come back; also, so that the clients would recommend them to others to help spread their business!

I think airlines get a bad rap for things they have no control over. I read through some of the reviews with low stars and a lot of it is out of the airlines control.
I flew from Nashville to Salt Lake City to Sacramento, all on delta airlines. While delta is not my first choice of carrier, they did a great job.
I fly a lot, so I have decent status with delta. Therefor, when I check in, I usually get to upgrade to delta comfort seats at no extra cost. Nice perk. Gives you a little more leg room on the flights.
The flight attendees were friendly, smiling and timely.
No delays on my flights at all.

Terrible terrible terrible. The first of our 3 plane trip was delayed for 4 hours. We missed all of our connections. His is our honeymoon. There’s no excuses. We had a prepaid trip at an all-​inclusive hotel and Delta told us they were «sorry».

On a flight to DC this past week, I planned on purchasing in-​flight meals for my kids & I. It was a long, hungry flight for us, being that Delta didn’t plan ahead for a full flight & ran out of meals to sell. I would’ve purchased food during our layover, but our next flight was already boarding when we got there. While in DC, I tried changing our return flight to a later time, so we could have more time for sightseeing. I called Delta’s toll free number, but was told there were no later flights that evening. Interestingly, when we got to the airport, we were asked if we wanted to volunteer to take a later flight in exchange for Delta vouchers. Had we not been lied to, we could’ve enjoyed DC more & Delta could’ve sold our seats to potential passengers. Truly disappointed with our first Delta experience.

Delta flight 5690 a 373 mile flight is 3 hours late. Mechanical issues were identified 9 hours ago! The flight out this morning was 30 minutes late. Delta, Try flying Southwest to learn how to do it right.

Delta is worst than Spirit Airlines, seriously!!! This review deserves ZERO stars. Priscilla, the reservation attendant told me I couldn’t walk my child through security as he was flying with family, but they were already across the security station. PRISCILLA me they don’t give passes for parents anymore… Say what? I’m the parent and I need to ensure that my child is safe when making his way to relatives at the terminal. Her fat *ss was trying to get smart and have an attitude talking about I need to pay an additional fee to have my child fly with a chaperone. Did your fat *ss not just hear me say our family members are already passed security. Why the f*ck are you working there when you have ZERO customer service skills? You take reservation looking upset and walking around like your constipated. Also, the supervisor just stood there looking like she’s daydreaming about unicorns.
I can go on and on and on… Delta, you’ve earned yourselves an «L» for the one…
… And PRISCILLA… Eat a Twinkie and call it a day…

Delta Airlines is the absolute worst airline. Customer service is horrible. Representative told the other guy to get his friend a good seat and he was flying stand by, are you kidding me. Not to mention he never acknowledged me standing at the counter. I do not recommend this airline to anyone. I will never ever fly Delta Airlines again.

This place sucks!!! They treat army people like crap! They did not have any good solutions for a flight that was delayed! The supervisor said that there is not much she can do besides giving me a flight that arrives the next day. So much for serving their country! We will never use them again!
Ughhh now waiting for hours and hours to get to where i need to go!

I recently flew from Salt Lake City (SLC) to Sacramento (SMF) with Delta. The flight was a short hop, really nice. There was a slight delay in departure, and this was later explained to us by the captain. He told us they are a Detroit-​based crew and they had a delay on their Detroit-​Salt Lake City leg. They made up lost time in the air and we barely felt the delay.
Although the flight was a short hop, the staff made an effort to make sure everybody receives drinks. I’m giving them 4 stars and not 5 just because of the delay.

If I could give zero I would. This is absurd. It is Xmas time… you should know to have more people working to help with the check in process. I have been waiting over a half hour and still have about 10 people ahead of me. None of the other airlines are having an issue…

We recently decided since I use Delta for business it might be to our advantage to get one of their American Express credit cards. After all they make it sound like you’ll be treated like royalty by Delta if you have one of their cc.
What a joke! You get the card with information about how your first bag is free and priority boarding and cheaper up grades. But make sure you go on-​line to get the details. because when we arrived with our one bag it was 8lbs over and we were charged $ 100.00. When I mentioned we were gold members, it made no difference even when I told them my first bag was suppose to be free. When I arrived at my destination I emailed Delta 2 times with my disappointment and they said sorry but our policies are on-​line. I told them it would be nice if they would include those when they send out their packet with the credit cards which said nothing about (oh by the way make sure your bag doesn’t weigh over 50 lbs. or you’ll be charged $ 100.00).
Oh yeah that gogo they offer on their flights to watch videos or stream on-​line. It doesn’t work either and you don’t get a refund.
Their seats are cramped and you don’t have hardly any room for your legs or the tray.
Southwest is much cheaper and more room to boot.

After flying another airline for the first time, thinking they were one of the best, and being sorely disappointed, I am going to choose Delta! They are so much better!!! I like Delta’s boarding policy, announcements are clear, flights leave mostly on time. Their ground staff and flight crews are friendly and helpful. And I have always found customer service to be helpful. No so on the other airline — I will never make that mistake again! Delta, you have won me over!

Many airlines are better than this Delta. But mostly what ticks us off, is that our points expire, which only causes us Not to stay loyal to this Airline. Also did not enjoy the extra luggage fees.

Delta kind of stinks. That’s not what I really wanted to say, but I think you get the picture.
Flew in/​out of Dallas to/​from Sacramento. Outbound, I had less than 30 minutes to make my connecting flight in SLC… which wouldn’t have been so bad except I came into Gate B16 and had to RUN to catch my connecting flight all the way over at Gate E70… gate 23.
I was so stressed out since I didn’t even had time to dash to the bathroom between flights. On the return flight, I came into Gate E70 in SLC, but only had to go to Gate D7 and had about an hour to get there… which was a lot less stressful.
Not worth flying Delta considering the hassles they put you through.
