Dee & Kris Photography

I know I reviewed them last year, but that was before they photographed our wedding. I have to say we STILL give them five stars because they are still amazing. What i said before still stands and even more. We have all of our pictures that are easily shared with any family and friends we want and are waiting for our beautiful keepsake box to cherish forever. They work so well together as husband and wife and did more than just take pictures, but Kris was like a wedding coordinator by all she did. Thank you Dee & Kris! You guys captured our special day in pictures we get to have forever. We tell everyone about you two! Keep being amazing!

Dee & Kris are not only AMAZING photographers but such amazing people. We actually found them here on Unilocal and could not have gotten luckier, we loved them as soon as we met them and after interviewing multiple photographers as soon as we met them we booked them! We kept saying we enjoyed them so much right off the bat we felt like we were old friends!
Both our engagement session and our wedding went perfectly, despite crazy weather and some rain for both, and our photos were everything we wanted and more! After 6 months we still look at our photos on a regular basis. D&K went above and beyond in every way to make sure everything was perfect, kept our day on track even with small delays here and there due to weather and no one even noticed! Not only did they get incredible photos of us and our wedding party, but such great photos of all our guests as well which we love looking back on since that night went by like a blink! They caught so many moments we didn’t catch ourselves.
It is so important to feel comfortable with your photographers and you get this with D&K, along with a ton of fun and laughs. Not to mention they are a wonderful couple themselves so it makes it that much more fun, they work together in such a great way. I have attended and been in other weddings and none of the photographers even compared IMO. Having photographers who know how to direct you and your group to get the best photos throughout your entire day is SO important and they did such a great job, all the poses and shots they got I was blown away clicking through loving each one even more than the last. TRUST all the incredible reviews on here, do not pass up a chance to work with them!!! They are really the whole package. We can’t wait to have the opportunity to shoot with them again!

Dee and Kris are ABSOLUTELY FAN-​FREAKING-​TASTIC. From the beginning with the initial interview, they were just 100% on top of their game. Helping with the timeline of the wedding to making sure we got what pictures we wanted. The day of the wedding they were EVERYWHERE. Helping out with falling hair and speeding up the makeup artist to just making everyone feel comfortable. I cannot imagine my wedding without them. They just made everything run smoothly and made sure we were the center of attention and even though they are all about the photos they don’t do it a way where they are bossy and rude. They become part of your day and a part of the party and everyone just relaxes. I have already recommended them to every engaged couple I know! The pictures are AMAZING! And you don’t have to wait 8 – 12 weeks for pictures. They give you teasers a few days after and then the photos are all complete in about a month, or at least mine were! If I could get married again, I would no doubt choose them again!

Dee & Kris were awesome. I interviewed with two other photographers before selecting them and we selected them because of their overall personalities, experience and knowledge, and their great products. They are an energetic couple that is fun to work with and does a great job. They did our engagement photos which got us used to being in front of the camera and produced some amazing photos.
Leading up to the wedding they were well prepared, have a great online resource, and asked all the right questions in preparation for the Big Day.
Lastly, they were wonderful during the entire event, even when demands were made and stress levels were higher. The best part is you get your «Teaser» photos like two days after the wedding! «Teasers» mean like 100 – 200 awesome edited photos from the wedding.
All in all a great photographer, great couple, and awesome photos!
I would say I would hire them again but I hope I won’t need another wedding! ;)

Best photographers ever!!! If you are looking for quality people who take quality photos then look no further! These two are seriously the most amazing, put-​together people ever! They went above and beyond anything I could have asked for in a photographer. They were basically the glue that held the wedding together. Don’t know how I would have gotten through the day without these two. They do more Than just take photos — they make the day run smoothly and coached my husband and I through everything (what to expect from a weddings, scheduling events, contacting other vendors etc). They were the best decision of our wedding vendors, hands down

I couldn’t have asked for better photographers. First of all, they immediately made us feel comfortable. We had never taken photos like engagement pictures before and they made it so easy. The pictures were STUNNING!!! I cannot stress this enough… stunning. they got the pictures back to us so fast I couldn’t believe it. We had teasers next day, and when I say teasers I mean at least 50 pictures.
For our wedding it was even better. on the actual day I don’t know what I would have done without them. they kept our schedule on time, they were prepared for anything, they keep us smiling, they keep it light, and they make sure we had a day we’d never forget. and then they took the most AMAZING pictures. Within about a week (if that) we had close to 200 pictures! as always they were flawless!!!
But the photos aren’t even the best part. See the thing about these photographers is having Dee and Kris are the best part. They are hilarious, kind, creative, and every other nice adjective you could think of. They seriously felt like family the first time we met them. No photographers I’ve seen go through the same effort, have the same details, or the personality that these two have. They made us feel instantly comfortable and made us feel so confident in our choice. They were extremely professional, and yet easy going and fun, and their attention to little details make your day effortless.
I could probably write a novel over how amazing these photographers are, and take my word they’re worth it. You will never regret booking this fantastic couple.

Dee and Kris are amazing people. If you are looking for something more robust than simply a wedding photographer than this is your team.
My wife and I got married this September and we had an extremely difficult location, huge group, non-​traditional timeline, and a lot of other corky little things. Dee and Kris are amazing at taking your ideas and lining them up with your overall timeline to make sure that everything can actually happen without stress.
From the beginning– we totally hit it off with them. Skype meetings, phone calls, texting… completely available to us. AND, we actually felt like they were genuinely interested and cared about us. They laid our overall timeline out for us, coordinated with our wedding coordinators, showed up early and left late.
We got our photos ridiculously quick. WAY earlier than we could have ever imagined and they are absolutely stunning. We love them and you will too. They make the day flow so you don’t have to stress.
With Dee and Kris you don’t get photographers… you get photographers, wedding planners, coordinators, and best of all… friends!

We have nothing but good things to say about Dee and Kris!
We took our engagement photos in December 2014 at UC Berkeley, which was a new spot for them. They jumped right in and had such an eye for good shots and backgrounds. They were so fun to spend the day with, and we didn’t leave the shoot until they were satisfied with the photos. It was a much longer session than we paid for, but they were determined to get a wide variety of shots. They went above and beyond our expectations.
Our wedding was in July 2015. Leading up to the big day, we had great communication with Dee & Kris. They sent us questionnaires to help stay organized and work through the wedding day timeline. The week before the wedding, we had a call with Kris to review everything. She gave me the BEST pep talk about remembering to have fun and go with the flow on my big day, and her words of wisdom helped me enjoy myself and stay relaxed.
On the wedding day, their expertise was obvious to everyone involved. They were professional, focused and fun! One of my bridesmaids said that mine was one of the most relaxing and stress-​free wedding she had been a part of, and Dee & Kris helped create that feeling. They worked very well with all of my other vendors and the venue staff.
We got our wedding photo teasers a few DAYS after our wedding. They are beautiful, and include a huge variety of detail shots, candids, and traditional photos. Dee & Kris are finishing up the rest of the photos now, but we have no doubt that we will love them as much as our engagement photos and wedding teasers. Their photography skills are second to none. They are true professionals and their work captures the feeling and emotion of our wedding day.
When we first looked at wedding photography prices, we were shocked. It seemed like such a huge chunk of our budget. Now that the wedding is behind us, we have no regrets with what we spent because Dee and Kris did such an amazing job and completely exceeded our expectations. If you are considering hiring them, do it. You won’t regret it. THEY ARE THE BEST!

These 2 are probably the most amazing people I have met! They make everyone feel so comfortable! They seriously made our wedding! Our teaser photos came back so fast and I can’t wait to see the rest! Everyone at my wedding raved about how amazing they were!

Not that Dee and Kris need another 5 star review. but here goes.
I met Dee and Kris about 2 years ago when they shot a wedding I was in, then another year later for another friends wedding I was in, and when it was my turn to get married I OBVIOUSLY had to have Dee and Kris do my wedding too. I actually booked my date around their schedule (not a venues)
They are so fantastic to work with, they make you feel at ease instantly. When Kris does the pre wedding calls she is so organized and on top of things and gives you a timeline — which is a huge help if you don’t have a coordinator.
All 3 weddings I have done with them have been shot completely differently — and they all looked amazing. They really pick up on your style and go with that. You can’t go wrong with these two!

We considered Dee and Kris as our photographer and loved all their amazing work. They were very organized and well thought out planning a timeline and took the time to get to know us. You can tell from the first meeting that they were very knowledgable and had great upbeat energy. The samples of their work would make any bride swoon. They were prompt with any questions we had and responding to emails. Definitely would recommend them to friends and family!

My husband and I were married on November 29, 2014. We contacted Dee and Kris after hearing about a friends amazing experience with them. We couldn’t have been happier, not only to have such amazing photographers (the pictures came out AMAZING) but to have two people who genuinely care about us and the day. From the very beginning of planning the wedding day to the end of the wedding night, Dee and Kris had every detail mapped out. They were so thorough! Dee and Kris have photography skills unlike anything I have ever seen. I have never been thrilled to have my picture taken and the photos they took made me feel so beautiful and really captured the love between my husband and the overall emotions of the day.
We were on our honeymoon when we got some of our teasers and we were shocked at the quality of the photos. They were wonderful!

My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about these two. They are so fun to work with. They love what they do and it shows in their work.
I first met Dee and Kris at a bridal show, and I enjoyed their positive energy. It was easy to connect with them; they are honest and real. Soon after, I had a consultation meeting with Kris, and it was clear in speaking with her that she had photographed many weddings. She leaves no stone unturned. At the meeting, Kris created an excellent timeline that would rival anything a wedding coordinator could put together, had great suggestions, and simply made me feel at ease. Kris did this all for free, regardless of if we would work together or not. Sold! That night, we booked our engagement photo session and wedding with them. I never looked back; they are professional and thorough in their work.
It starts with little things. Before photo sessions, they called to touch base, to plan, and to set expectations. Kris is a reservoir of useful wedding information. From what sparklers to use for the «sparkler exit» to purchasing a nice hanger for the timeless hanging wedding dress photograph, Kris had great suggestions that I would have never thought about. They even created a beautiful wedding website with all of our wedding information. Our engagement photos were timely added to the website and changes to the website were updated overnight… talk about prompt service. The week of the wedding, Kris was in constant contact– monitoring sunset times, weather, etc. On wedding day, they arrived promptly. Kris ensured we stuck to the timeline she had created earlier. Dee was simply calm and collected. He was everywhere yet nowhere– snapping photographs with a bravado that can only be acquired with years of experience. Photographs came easy working with these two. They stayed with us the entire day of our wedding from 12:30pm to 11:00pm. Not only are they great photographers, hiring them was like have another wedding coordinator. They kept things moving in the right direction. And they came prepared to handle any contingency or emergency that may pop up on the big day!
In short, Dee and Kris go above and beyond any photographers I’ve ever met, and I am lucky to have had them for my wedding on 11÷14÷14. Our wedding party gave us many compliments about Dee and Kris. As for the wedding photos, they are amazing! Dee and Kris have a great balance between them and it shows in the photographs they took. Our photographs contained a great mixture of candid, creative, dramatic, and classic photographs. They always seems to be in the right place at the right time! The photographs captured the elegance, grace, and beauty of the wedding without losing the festive spirit of the celebration. This could not have been accomplished with just one person behind the lense. My husband and I are so grateful to have worked with Dee and Kris. The photographs will provide us with a lifetime of joy, and we highly recommend them!

Wow! It is really a pleasure to be able to tell people about Dee & Kris Photography! They were the photographers at recent wedding and we noticed both how professional as well as how genuinely warm and kind they were all night long. We’re something of camera buffs and we were also impressed by the quality of equipment used. Well, we just received the cool sneak peak preview and are blown away! Rarely have we seen photographers who are equally able to capture candid ‘action’ shots (like people dancing), remarkable «gallery shots» (like floral arrangements) AND beautiful portraits. Dee and Kris do it all. And a really nice people too. Def recommend for any photog needs. 5 stars and fans for life!

We don’t even know where to start with these two! From the moment I met them at a bridal show I knew they were going to be the ones to capture every moment of our engagement/​wedding. They are both very down to earth, easy to get along with, creative, funny, amazing couple, and the list can go on and on. Our engagement photos are beyond words. The creative eye of this duo is out of this world. They turn the most simple things/​moments into truly beautiful photos. They capture more than just pictures they capture all the emotions and life in the every photo. So when it came time to our wedding day I was so excited to see what magic they were going to capture. And like we expected my husband and I were ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!! They captured every precious moment on our wedding day and then some. I will be using Dee & Kris for everything that I want to be profesionally photographed. Also I will be referring them to ANYONE and EVERYONE who is looking for amazing photographers. WE LOVE DEE & KRIS PHOTOGRAPHY and are so thankful that we are apart of the Robinson family and for them to be apart of our family!!!

WOW — so let me just break it down real quick.
I got to know Kris and Dee while they were shooting/​recording my best friends wedding. Not only did they go above and beyond their job description… (i.e.) making stuff happen at the venue for the bride and catering to the whims of others… but they made the rest of the bridal party relax and feel at ease (I suck at professional pictures) They had a great sense of humor and most importantly made my friend feel like the star of the show (rightfully so). They were on fire for about 6 hours straight… shooting staged/​candid photos and working their magic. They even showed us a few of the shots which was great because the photographers in my experience don’t really do that…
I also totally admired their work on the brides engagement video. I hope I get to use them in the near future for myself ;)

Dee and Kris are wonderful to work with and they capture amazing moments. My husband and I got married on Sept 20, 2013 and it went smoothly because we had Dee and Kris as photographers. They kept track of the time, coordinated with our DJ and caterer and they were able to get spectacular photos. We were truly lucky to meet them at the crazy Sacramento Bridal Expo.

The way they displayed their work is what captured our eye and their work speaks for itself… but the way Dee and Kris spoke to us and listened to how we invision our day made everything feel wonderful. Dee and Kris did our engagement and wedding photos. We used our engament photos for our save the dates and as part of our décor for the wedding. They recently sent us our «wedding teasers», a preview of our wedding photos. And we are way too excited to see the rest.
My husband and I love their work. We love that they capture sentimental moments, there’s a pic of my father in law crying… it was so sweet.
We enjoyed working with them, they are very professional, down to earth, and talented in what they do. We’re so happy and honored that they did our wedding photos!
