DON’T USE — Horrible! Bought the living social «Luxury Christmas Lights Tour» for 16 people for $ 119. The bus had 5 very dirty windows with disco lights going. The seating was u-​shaped so most people couldn’t even see out a (dirty) window. There was a stripper pole in the middle that was difficult to explain to the 3 year olds. The customer service was terrible. They don’t write things down, can’t keep things straight, but make sure they charge $ 66 for tax and tip up front. And, it is Davinci Limo that sent me emails in response to my 12÷29÷14 complaints. I only wish that I had read these reviews before.

Whether they want to call themselves Davinci Limo or The Limo Company they are the same company. I exchanged multiple emails with them and I received responses from three different email addresses and one of them was Davinci. I purchased a coupon for a three hour wine country service for $ 100 (plus tax and tip) They front-​load a 20% tip for the standard rate of the limo service and demand an additional $ 52 when they show up. How is it gratuity when you charge me for it prior to providing service? The car we had was an older model and not in great shape inside or out. In fairness, it was clean but it was no way a luxury ride. One of the car handles was broken and the air conditioner was terrible. The temp outside was close to 100′ and it had to be 90′ in the limo. Not comfortable and not acceptable.
Maybe this service would be OK for a bunch of kids on a prom date, but I was embarrassed that I fell for this deal and put my friends through it.

I HAVE NEVER USED THEM, so giving 3 stars since cannot say if they are bad or good, myself.
But wanted to point out that they are now «The Limo Company»
Phone and web address is the same as of 1÷30÷12. I almost purchased a living social from «The Limo Company», but I never purchase without reading reviews first. I discovered they were the same and obviously did not purchase. Can only hope they are under new ownership but it is doubtful, more like trying avoid bad reviews.

So, notwithstanding the bad experience on July 4 I was determined not to waste my $ 99 and thought it would be nice to take my lady friend out to dinner in a limo this Friday — just up to Folsom from Rancho and back, likely not even 4 hours. So I sent an email, and this is rhe reply I got:
Sorry we can’t service you due to violating our cancellation policy, You cancelled 1 day before, We did not dumped you for better customer, We told you what you bought and how it was. Then you gave us a Bad review on Unilocal:

WOW! Wow is all I can say because this place just went out of business!!! All of you who bought the Sacramento Dealsaver, like me, are OUT OF LUCK! Call your credit card companies NOW and have the money refunded. This is unbelievable. It is probably the last time I will ever buy a deal, because aparently you cannot trust the actual business to be honest and upright. I was told that they lost money on the deal… well here’s a thought, DON’T GAMBLE WHAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO LOSE!

Don’t waste your time or money! I tried to schedule airport transportation over a month in advance. Tried calling and leaving messages and emails. No calls returned or emails until I sent one asking if they were able to take me or not, otherwise I would make alternate arrangements. I finally got a response saying, «so we are busy. Someone will call you by Tuesday». Needless to say, I never got a call! Lousy service and they don’t care about their customers! Can’t believe they are still in business with how they treat people wanting to use their service.

Bought the 4hr wine tasting Groupon. Left a message to reserve date, got an email in response vs. phone call. That didn’t bother me, but email was slightly unprofessional and rude. Right off the bat I could tell Groupon users were a burden to them. So maybe don’t offer deals through groupon? Did the wine tour this weekend, driver was on time and we had fun– but he had zero personality and gave us 80 minutes at one winery but only 20 minutes at the other two? We asked if we could hit one more winery since we were done at the long stop pretty quick but he said no. Might think twice before buying a groupon through them again.

I used this company through Groupon. There were hidden Costs $ 20 less than the original Groupon not stated in the Groupon. When my friend wrote a poor review, I also got a rude abusive email like previous reviewer explained.
The limo was also old and not clean. My friends and I made the best of the experience, but after their rude and abusive email to myself after my friend wrote a Unilocal review, I decided it was worth writing a review about.

Like everyone else, I wish I’d read this sooner. My friends and I also got a Groupon, but this one was for wine tasting, not airport service. Party Foul #1: they lied and told us this was the first time ever using Groupon for anything — clearly not, as all these Unilocal reviews show.
The reason they were lying about a «first Groupon experience» was Party Foul #2: they charged us almost double the cost advertised on Groupon, with «taxes and fees» that didn’t show up in the original, supposedly complete package we bought. So we were standing in 100 degree weather digging extra cash out of our purses before the trip could even start.
Party Foul #3: This ended up putting us behind schedule, and cut into our experience because the driver was pressuring us to wrap it up at our stops. (We were given like 10 mins per tasting room).
Party Foul #4: The limo was old and gross: lots of tears in the fabric and seats, faulty sterio, weak A/​C. Worst of all, though, the bottle holders were dirty with a bunch of melted ice cream or something, and there were tons of little flies living in the vents. FLIES.
Never ever again. We all had a good experience — but only because of each other’s company, and because we refused to let this horrible limo service ruin our day. I will never use this company again, and hope that others are cautious enough to read Unilocal reviews before signing up. Steer clear of these guys!

I bought the Groupon for the 4 hour wine excursion and had the best time. It was the best deal I’ve ever seen. We initially got into the wrong limousine because someone else had a wine trip planned leaving from the same hotel and the driver didn’t ask for my name. My driver with Davinci waited patiently until we got back about 45 – 1 hour and still provided us with the 4 hour tour. He was amazing, had a great sense of humor and really professional. He even took us to my families old winery instead of one of the others since we were in the area. Limo was much nicer than the first one we were in with a different company. Thank you so much!!! LOVED IT! Do not let the other reviews discourage you… I was concerned because I bought the Groupon before reviewing the company and it made me unnecessarily weary.

Wow. So many bad reviews. I truly wish I had read these before I bought the Groupon for airport towncar service. I have tried on two different occasions to book transportation to the airport and have not had success either time. Did, at one point, on first attempt speak with the driver who was obviously calling from his cell in the car. He assured me that they could handle my request. But when I called back to change the time (due to a cancelled flight and the need to get to the airport for an earlier flight), I was told it couldn’t be done. I gave up and took a taxi.
Second attempt, several emails, 4-​day delay for a response which was only: «do you still need a ride?», then when I answered «yes» to that question, no response for 3 days. I gave up. Guess I’m out the $ 39 for the Groupon deal. I’m not going to bother with Davinci Limo Service again.

I purchased a Groupon a few months back for a one way ride to the airport. I thought I was getting a good deal. My mistake! I made a reservation right away for our flight that leaves in february. The guy told me that it would be fine, he even sent me a confirmation email with the time and date of the pick up. He did however tell me to call a few days before to make sure that we were still on. I thought this was strange that I needed to call them and make sure they were still coming. But I thought maybe he was telling me that because I was making the reservation so much in advance!
So I called on Friday and on their voicemail it says «due to the high volume of Groupon being purchased they were not going to be taking Groupon customer reservations from jan– march! And they will not be doing any pick ups before 7am!» I had a reservation for feb with a 4 am pick up. So I was a little concerned! I called the number listed on their website and left a message there asking if my reservation was still valid. No return call. I also sent them two emails (to two different email addresses) and no response. I contacted Groupon, told them the situation and amazingly they refunded me even though I had made the purchase in October! Go Groupon!
Beware of this company! Always read reviews first! I usually do, but for some reason thought this time that it would be ok! I learned my lesson!

I was truly excited about buying their Groupon deal last month… should have checked Unilocal (as I usually do) before my sisters and I purchased this «great deal.» My seven sisters and I were so excited about using Davinci and going wine tasting, but the fact that I called four times in 12 days, made me finally be smart about it and just cancel the Groupon.
They state that, «all calls on Groupon [will be] returned in 24 hours,» well, that is such a lie! Not only did I call them four times, but I even had my husband call to see if they returned his call, and they still have yet to call him back too. What a disappointment.
This will not stop me from using Groupon, as they quickly responded, but to those of you who are considering Davinci Limousine, DON’T, please go elsewhere. If a business can’t return a simple call in the time they say they will just imagine how their service will be… as I see in the other comments here, not good at all.

I regret not reading these reviews BEFORE I purchased a GROUPON for a holiday light tour for my family as a surprise… when I called on 11÷22÷11 to book it, (a month in advance of wanting to use this deal) I was told everything was booked on Fridays, Saturday’s, Sunday’s (translation, those days/​times were reserved for full-​price paying customers) and the only times available were 9 p.m. (not too appealing since many displays turn off around 10 p.m.!!)…the phone rep stated he was working with a partner limo company to secure more trips for the week after Xmas (yes, that’s when all families want to look at lights is AFTER they’ve survived the Christmas season…).
I ended my phone call with him and am now going to contact Groupon about a refund, and hoping I won’t find a disappointing experience with them as I did with this limo company :(
UPDATE: shortly after posting my above review, I received a nasty text message on the cell phone I called the company from… calling me, and I quote (misspelling and all) «you dumb ads bimbo»…WOW! Are you kidding me with that kind of service?! Simply appalling.

First piece of advice, don’t complain that someone doesn’t understand English if your post is filled with typos. It pretty much takes away your credibility.
As far as you not being late, you were. You were 25 minutes late picking me up. That’s not a lie. The driver got lost. He said so himself.
Second piece of advice — there seems to be a common theme in the complaints against your service and that is with customer communication. Instead of calling me an «All American Liar» why don’t you fix the miscommunication problem that you have with your customers so you won’t get more complaints? I called in advance to make reservations and was told to bring a car seat. I asked if that was necessary since many cab services didn’t require them. I was told that I could get fined without one. I was also told to call the morning of my flight to remind you to bring the car seat and to confirm my reservation.(Don’t know what the comment about me not having a cell phone is about or why it matters to you if I have one or not, but I did use my cell phone to call.) I was doing what I was told. So it’s rather immature and odd for your company to complain about what YOU told me to do.
Third piece of advice, it is not customary for a car that has been privately booked to have other passengers in the car at the pick up.
When I made the reservation, I informed the company that I would have two people on the way over and four people on the way back. I asked if there would be any extra charges or if that would be a problem. I was told no. The company said the sedan held four passengers and as long as we didn’t have any extra luggage it wouldn’t be a problem. The four of us had two carry-​on pieces of luggage and one stroller which easily fit into the trunk of the car. The reason there was not room for us was that the driver had brought his daughter along with him. The driver unapologetically said we could pay for our own cab ride home (pretty lame because his company messed up) or he would come back and pick up one of the members of our party. When you return from a long flight you don’t want to be told that you have to fork over $ 40 for a service you already paid for or have to wait 45 more minutes before you can get home when the car you booked and paid for is sitting right in front of you.
As far as tips… Tips are given when someone is impressed with your service. I did tip the driver $ 15 on the way to the airport, even though he was late because I’m a very nice person. I did not tip him on the way back because he was incredibly rude and I was not impressed with the situation he put us in by bringing his daughter. He did not earn the tip.
Instead of trying to bash customers and the RT system, simply admit you made a mistake, try to fix the problem, and move on. You look a lot classier and your business will be much more successful.

So we bought the Groupon for the airport service from Davinci. First off, Groupon is an awesome company! However, Davinci is not so awesome. When my fiancé called to see if they had availability on the date that we were departing and returning, Antonio stated that he did, and that instead of giving us 2 town cars, he would do a free upgrade to an SUV limo so all of our guests could ride together. We thought that was a really nice offer. Since the Groupon was purchased under my account, my fiancé had to call him back when I provided her with the code. 2 days later, she sent an email to Antonio with the Groupon codes and mentioned the SUV limo. He replied back stating that the SUV limo is an upgrade of $ 60.00 plus mileage. Assuming that he forgot HE was the one who OFFERED the upgrade, she replied stating just that, but if something has changed, then we don’t need it and the Town cars are fine. He disregarded this email and confirmed if we were the people going to Hawaii. Then again, we had to respond and ask if he was going to be able to take us to and from the airport as our departure date is 1 week away!
So the final response that we received from Antonio was that the limo upgrade could not be done because his boss won’t allow it. The Groupon wouldn’t even cover the gas. So we spoke to Antonio on 10/​25/​2011 and he said they only had one town car and we should just get a refund. When my fiancé said we would just pay the $ 60.00 upgrade, he said he would email an invoice in 48 hours. It has now been 4 days and NO invoice and we are leaving 11/​07/​2011! Horrible, horrible customer service and it seems like they are very disorganized. Also, I would like to take the 1 star away.
ONE MORE THING! I was reading another review where the customer was told that Davinci only runs 1 Town car on the weekends and 2 during the week. I call BS because we are traveling on a Monday, and after 20 days of intermittent contact, he FINALLY says 2 cars aren’t available. If that was the issue, state that from the beginning, instead of beating around the bush.

CRAZY owner alert! I received a private Unilocal message from the owner «Rizzo G.» just a few hours after posting, which read:
«How can you give us a bad review when you didn’t even rent the limo!
My driver said that you were the wasted drunk one in the Group and how can you remember anything, you make Yuba city seam like we are 3000 miles away, we even meet you to give your things the next day. people like you have this whole world messed up, no one can please you, not even yourself. Instead of calling the next day you blast us on Unilocal your a real art work. I guess you have nothing else to do.»
I won’t bother to correct the spelling and grammar. Suffice to say that he clearly has me confused with someone else, who they met up with again the next day for something? I have no idea what he is talking about. The ideas I do have:
1) This is the owner. Nice professionalism, buddy.
2) Please consider the owner’s conduct in deciding where to book a limo for your special occasion.
3) Expect a flurry of 5-​star fake reviews from dummy accounts to combat the 3 real reviews, all of which were negative.

There are a lot of decent limo options in Sacramento — this is not a good one.
The bachelorette party hostess booked this place for a our friend’s bachelorette night last weekend.(Yep, we were those people last weekend. Ugh.) The driver was awkward, had no idea where he was going (we were entirely on the grid — it’s not difficult), and kept missing GPS-​assisted turns and directions. It’s makes sense now, knowing that they are based in Yuba City — a local driver would have been able to navigate midtown.
They told the hostess she could pay the $ 415 by credit card, but then the driver showed up without the equipment to do so. So we had to pay cash, and he wanted it up front. So, we then got lost on the way to an ATM, and ended up having to give the driver directions throughout the night in order to get places. Overall, crappy limo experience. Find another company.

First the driver was on time and did get me home safely, and that really is the goal. I purchased the Groupon and tried them for the first time. I use town car services often and know good service when I get it. The challenge is really that the car was disgusting, old, and had scotch tape holding something to the door, the driver was unshaven, was on the cell phone a lot with other customers, could not lift my bags into the trunk, and the car smelled strongly of air freshener.
The most important thing I can tell you is that the driver mentioned he had been up since 1am doing airport transfers and that he still had many more to do before the day was over –at that time it was about 11:45am.
In addition, when I mentioned that the car was dirty he mentioned that this was the car they were using for the Groupon deal and that they offered the deal to try and get more business. I told him it was a bad way to make a first impression.
Needless to say the driver was polite and did get me home safely.

Fasle Advertising and Taking Advantage of Consumers! !I purchased a GROUPON for Round-​trip Town Car Service to the Airport. Called over 20 times the last two days and got either a busy signal or an answering machine. Finally got through to someone today and was told to call back in 15 minutes. When I called back, I was told that they only had one car available and it would not be available to get me to the airport in time for my flight. Then I was told that they are only using 2 cars for the Groupon special! I am 100% disgusted by the fact that this company would advertise and sell a service which they are not willing to provide! The person told me if I didn’t like it, I could call Groupon and get a refund. I will NEVER use Davinci Limo and will be sure to inform the Better Business Bureau, as well as all of my collegues and friends in the area of this company’s poor business practices!
