Loved working with Cynthia. Caring, knowledgeable and not pushy — something that I didn’t appreciate about my previous realtor!

I highly recommend Cynthia Hextell to be your real estate agent. For starters, my husband and I are both 22 years old, and had a VA loan in the works. Two things of which no real estate agent wants to work with on the buying or selling side. I found her off of the Zillow site, put in a request, and about an hour later received a call. Cynthia is extremely personable, professional, honest, and definitely gives it her all. It was easy to communicate with her on the phone and emails as she is quick to respond. I also liked the fact that I gave her the list of what I wanted and where I wanted it, and we stuck to that region. After over 20 homes we looked at, and 5 or 6 rejected offers, we got a call late at night where we had finally gotten an accepted offer; which happened to be the best house out of all the houses we looked at, and on top of that was $ 5k less than asking price.
Now came the escrow process, which was very lengthy and stressful for everyone. None of which, was Cynthia’s fault, and I have to give it to her, that I am proud of her that she didn’t rip her hair out. Our listing agent, was miserating. Cynthia and I jumped through hoops to sign and document everything the selling agent requested. Disclosures, paperwork, after paperwork, re-​signs, and even making us work through things on Holidays. (Pain in the neck he was). Cynthia managed to schedule, and complete all required inspections within the first week of escrow. The toughest part was the bank, but that’s a whole other review I get to write. (PS don’t use Cherry Creek Mortgage).
Overall, I am very, very pleased with the service Cynthia provided, as well as her knowledge in the realty world. Not only did we get our first home to hopefully raise a family soon, but we gained a new friend in Natomas Park!
