History
Established in 2009.
Since 2000, I have been providing couples, individual and family counseling to people who face difficult struggles in their lives.
The characteristics that I feel are paramount in fostering a quality connection between my client (s) and myself involve my ability to compassionately listen without judgment. Because very personal issues are revealed in counseling, often causing anxiety or fear, I attempt to alleviate these feelings by genuinely demonstrating my empathy and concern.
Although I am caring and understanding, I feel that in my work as a therapist it is essential to honestly point out behaviors, actions and concerns I am observing. Sometimes this may be difficult for my client (s); however, I feel it is an important element of change and personal growth.

Business Owner
I began my career as a therapist later in life after raising my children. While in school earning my Masters’ Degree in Social Work, I interned and then was hired as an advocate for the Sacramento County
District Attorney’s Office’s, Domestic Violence Unit.
I also interned at The Family Service Agency offering counseling services to individuals in need. After graduation, I worked with offenders of domestic violence facilitating anger management groups.
Since 2000, I have been providing couples, individual and family counseling to people who face difficult struggles in their lives.
As do many clinicians, I work with a variety of clients with differing issues.
Because I strive to provide the best therapeutic services to my clients, I consistently work at becoming more educated by attending conferences, workshops and reading professional materials.
