Meet the Business Owner
Colleen K.
Business Owner
I completed a Master of Science degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling at California State University, Sacramento in 2004. My counseling career began with a volunteer position as co-facilitator for the Children’s Bereavement Art Groups in Sacramento. In 2001, I started working as a crisis counselor serving individuals who were victims of physical and sexual assault.
I went on to gain additional valuable experience and training as a therapist working with a diverse population of youth, adults, families and groups. From short term, solution-focused counseling to long term, in-depth therapy, I learned how to meet my clients where they are at and take them to where they want to go.
With experience working in a variety of community mental health clinics, I came to understand that my clients were some of my best teachers. Each of you has something to offer the world, and I cherish the privilege to be there with you, listening and guiding, as we work together.
