Center of Praise Ministries

Really liked going to church here. It was very confusing at first as when you walk into the sanctuary it seems like a dining room. But members are so pleasant that they direct you immediately. They also let you know that as a first time visitor there is a reception for us in the same dining room on the first floor. The church sanctuary is on the second floor. and it is massive. This building was a theatre at some time. The seats are numbered.
I am a private worshiper and this church is all about the whole and that is great. I loved, loved, loved the speaker of the day. He was so down to earth and I was able to relate the word to real life. The word was about appreciation of those every day things that are with you for the person that provides it. And telling them of said appreciation. I was very impressed with his teachings.
He related the sermon to life and events that make life worth living. I am excited to go back and get my soul and spiritual food. Blessings are in this church!

This is absolutely the best church in the world. They have ministries that bless all ages and I have been so blessed by coming here. Thank God for every pastor and church member that I have met that has shown me kindness and made me feel at home. These are the best sermons Ive heard thus far. MAY God continue to bless COP!

I am writing this review not only in response to the dynamic word on the importance of gratitude of imperfect people but on the hospitality which we received during our very first visit. The church is beautiful and so many youth. They were spilling over to the front steps and onto the sidewalk;a very pertinent indicator that always speaks to the foundation and strength of the ministry. As I said we were received warmly, the sanctuary and the word were equally beautiful and we left enriched. Where do I begin with the music ministry. From the moment the musicians began, I knew God was speaking; we had finally found our new church home. The praise team was electric as its been so long that I’ve felt the anointing fall during praise and worship. And to ice this supremely delicious cake we left with first time gift bags including a prayer devotional, a book on evangelism, CDs (both full musical and messages) a working pen (had to add that) and even Holiday cards to be sent to friends and family. I’ve never been so impressed but it wasn’t just surface. I cannot wait to get my children involved as they absolutely love the ministry and have always been so outspoken and active in the church. Thank you so much for this bountiful blessing and I cannot wait until next Sunday!

Pastor Joseph Sisack (spelling?) Is an anointed man of God who preaches The Word with great enthusiasm and knowledge. I love this church. If you want to hear a good message in Sacramento this is the place to go. The church is primarily black, so that is something to consider, but they are very welcoming to other ethnicities.
I can’t stress enough the fact that Pastor Joseph Sisack has been gifted with an ability to preach.

This churches healing service on the first Sunday at 5pm is amazing if you can make it out you should!

Finally I have a church home and I love it! If you’re looking — give COP a try. Super friendly, bible based.

Bishop Lovelace is A great man of God, and a fantastic teacher. Their is a ministry to fit everyone’s desire and need to grow in the word.

I have had the opprotunity to watch it grow from 50 chairs to the power center to the cathedral and i honestly say the word is awesome. Its life changing and the great thing is that Bishop lovelace has not changed his teaching style sense nor has he, Thank God for a place to go and grow!

Pastor Lovelace of Center of Praise is blessed by God and speaks the truth. I’m so thankful I made this my home church! I try to go every week or watch online if out of town. Everyone I’ve brought has enjoyed it and I highly recommend the Sunday service and the Thursday night bible study (7pm). I attend the Noon Bible Study if I’m working that night. I am truly Blessed for being apart of this Church!

My family and I have always been blessed by the worship and the bringing of the word. We are welcomed warmly and leave incuraged and up lifted.

I love this church and I would be a member but I am afraid of commitment. Everytime I go I come out feeling like a new person. The Bishop of the church is really inspiring and he makes the sermon very interesting and he always throws in jokes that we can relate to in everyday life. On Wednesday they have bible study in Rancho Cordova at the power center. It is by far the best church I have ever been to.
