I could go on for days about this company, but I will make this short. I went to Capitol Collision after ruining the front bumper of my car. I had not idea how to do insurance claims or deal with insurance, but the owner Steve made this process so much easier, and less stressful. He helped me throughout the whole process. I took my friend with me when this incident had happened, and she even when onto saying that Steve, and Jeff were really nice guys.
This company definitely represents what real customer service is! I have never been so satisfied with anything else in my life, and hope to see this company continue to grow.

Long story short, the people I’ve met here including the owner are VERY nice people, but at the end of the day, the repair on my car was not satisfactory.
A drunk driver slammed into my parked car in the middle of the night before driving his car into my neighbor’s house. I need my driver side rear area repaired. The repairs took a while but I didn’t mind. I’d rather wait longer for a better job than vice versa. When I picked up my car I immediately noticed that the bumper section on the driver’s side was not flush with the rear side panel. I pointed it out during our walk through and the owner told me that they used manufacturer parts so if it’s not flushed then it’s supposed to be like that. Thought it was kind of weird, but there was no way I could prove him wrong so I left with the car.
Over the next work week, I started comparing the same area on other cars that were my same make, model, and year. I spoke with a bunch of friends and strangers and gathered a bunch of pictures to prove that it should be flush. The owner was very nice upon receiving my pictures and invited me to bring my car back so he can investigate my concerns. He kept my car and investigated the issue for a day. The results of his investigation was: plastic becomes malleable in heat and the bumper was not flush because it was swollen from the summer heat. He assured me it will fall back into place once the weather cools. Again, sounded weird but I can’t prove otherwise so I left with the car.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and have been observing my car for 10 months now in all seasons. Guess what? The bumper is still not flush and it hasn’t been hot of at least 7 months. I don’t doubt they’re kind people, but I just can’t trust their expertise. I definitely regret my decision to go there because now I either have to get my bumper fixed myself elsewhere or leave it as is.

Do not hesitate to go to Capitol Collision. Thank you to everyone here that treated me with the utmost respect. My car had gone through a tough time and I decided to personally pay for the damages done and they knew my deal. Jeff and everyone here made sure to keep it cost effective for me and that is very much appreciated. Jeff promised that my car would be ready on a Friday and everyone went home for Memorial Day weekend and he stayed three hours after everyone went home so I can pick up my car. «I made a promise and I am going to keep it».

Fantastic service! You wouldn’t believe how wonderful they are, Especially Jeff he is a fantastic person I ever met in my life, and how much I appreciate him for helping me out, this is my first had accident, I have no idea how to deal insurance company, Jeff helped me with everything, seriously now these day, I believe nobody can provide service like he does. I stopped in the office today just to ask if could possibly get an estimate to replace a smashed window on my truck. The gentleman at the front desk referred me to USA Auto Glass instead, since no body or collision damage was at issue. I called USA before I even left the parking lot and within 90 minutes I had a new window for $ 85 less than my insurance deductible would have been. Referring me to a specialty shop was such an amazing and helpful thing to do and I’ll be sure and recommend your business to anyone who might be in need of your services. Thank you so much.

My Miata had an unfortunate encounter with a large piece of mahogany that fell from a shelf in the garage. The two dents in the rear quarter panel were too large for PDI, so I contacted Capitol Collision Center to repair the car.
They were very helpful in accommodating my schedule, giving me a ride, and dealing with our insurance company. They were up front with all the costs, procedures, potential issues, and what to expect.
Their work was first-​rate! I couldn’t tell at all that there had ever been damage to my car. The silver paint was perfectly blended and good as new. I would absolutely recommend Capitol Collision Center for any paint and body work.

Got my Honda Pilot fix by this place and they did a wonderful job. Capitol Collision Center put customer first and excellent repair work. I had a few accident in the past and I would definitely go back to this place. Everyone in the office was super friendly and helpful. They pick me up and also drop me off when I didn’t have transportation. Customer service is very important in a lot of places, if customer service is horrible they lose business but as far as I witness and saw how they operate. I have to say they don’t have a problem in that. Just want to thanks the whole Capitol Collision team for everything.

This is by far THE BEST auto body repair shop in the Sacramento area. A few years back they made my truck look amazing after it had some issues and most recently my daily driver after it got backed into during the holiday season. I just picked up my car and not one day later I got spray paint on it while driving on the freeway. I immediately went to the shop and Steve and Ashley dropped what he was doing to help me out. Steve and one of the great shop guys got all the spray paint off in no time. Steve, Jeff and Ashley are all amazing. They are like family and treat you with nothing but the utmost respect. If you need help with a loaner/​rental car they can do that as well. If you need your car detailed that can be handled here as well. Their shop is clean and offers many conveniences while you wait for a pick up and drop off. Capitol Collision Center is amazing and I’m telling you this is the only place I’ll go and tell my family and friends to go. Do the same and tell them Nick sent you and you’ll be SO very happy you did! They get 5 stars and 10 out of 10

Took my Volkswagen in and everyone was so nice. Very professional, personable and the work was great. I hope I don’t have to have my car repaired again but if I do I’m taking it to capital collision. Customer service is #1.

Great body shop with friendly staff and quality work!

Took my Toyota Camry in to have the front bumper and side of the car repaired after a car ahead of me kicked an alligator (found out that is what one of those large retreads is called) in front of me and I hit it. The group did a great job setting me up with a rental car right at the shop. I only had to make my initial call to my insurance company to get the claim process started and Capitol Collision did the rest. I just got the car back and it looks as good as new! Great service from Steve the owner and Jeff the customer service rep. They also did a quick turnaround on the repairs.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! This place does an excellent job on car repairs of course, but also offers amazing customer service, which is so sadly rare these days. It is a locally owned shop (a plus in my book), and the owner, Steve, often is up front and very accessible to the customer. I had an incident where Capitol collusion repaired my car but when I left the antenna was not working correctly. I called Amy at the front desk (also fabulous and helpful) and reported the problem. Within the hour the owner, Steve, called me back to identify the problem, apologize for any inconvenience and offered to move his schedule for me to bring in my car at anytime that worked for me. He even offered to have someone from the shop come and pick up the car if that was more convenient! I, of course, would highly recommend this business to anyone in the Sacramento area.
Ps: they also offer free soda and waters and snacks in a nice waiting room.

Took my fusion in because of some door dings and a hood dent. They did an AMAZING Job! Looks like a new car! The customer service was world class! They were quick and painless from start to finish, kept me posted every step of the way, and always ran things by me first. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and followed through with calling me back and answering questions. To me customer service is just as important as quality of work and this place was a excellent in both! You guys are awesome! Thanks for the Girl Scout cookies!

I came in to get scuffs and scratches removed from my car. The customer service was really good and the owner, Steve, was super friendly. I’m a bit shy around new people but he made me feel comfortable and carried a friendly conversation with me in the waiting area while Amy (the lady at the front desk) was handling all the paperwork. I really like how friendly they are there and they take customer service very seriously. When I came back to pick up my car it was looking brand new and washed and I was surprised to find Girl Scout cookies in the passenger seat with a thank you note on top. I’ve never experienced that in any other body shops I’ve been to! I will definitely refer friends to come to this place and I encourage you to come here as well!

Capitol Collision Center exceeded my expectations. Damage was to rear body and bumper. I dealt with Amy who was great to work with. She did the estimate and dealt with my insurance carrier on the repair. She gave me an estimate of time for the job which they nailed exactly. I picked up the vehicle which was much cleaner than when it arrived, and was very satisfied with the work. its perfect. Its clear this business really cares about the customer and it shows.

Capitol Collision Center is AWESOME! I called and made an appointment to have my bumper repaired on 03÷6÷2013. I faxed them a copy of my insurance company’s repair estimate the same day. When I arrived for my appointment on 03/​10/​2013 I received prompt courteous and friendly service from Amy. She got me all checked in, inspected my vehicle, and told me she had preordered the part for my repair and they were already there! I also asked if they could remove the tow hitch assembly from the front of my vehicle. It’s was no problem for the added service and I just paid the labor for it. She called the rental car company to come pick me up. And I was on my way! My car was finished and ready for pick up by 11 am on 03/​12/​2013. The work is flawless and my car looks good as new! They even have me a box of Girl Scout Cookies as a thank you for bringing my car in for repairs! Awesome people and awesome service. I highly recommend Capitol Collision Center!

Capitol Collision does great work. Steve, the owner, cares about his clients. He is accessible and makes sure that customer service is his number one priority.
The staff is fantastic. Starting with the receptionist, who is professional and knows what is going on, to the technicians who do the work. They have repaired two cars of mine and the work was top notch.

I have to give credit to this place — the people here, especially the owner Steve, are friendly, honest and great to work with.
My company car was rear-​ended and my fleet managers directed me to Capital Auto, advising me to drop off my car at a particular date and time. My first interaction with Capital Auto was dropping off the car and Steve was at the front desk. He knew my name, he contacted the nearby Rent-​a-​car for me, did a quick visual of the damage and gave me a very honest assessment of the damage to the car and what would likely happen going forward.
I wish I could comment on the actual repair to the car, but as this was a company car, I was simply reassigned to a different vehicle. But, based on the quality of customer service Capital Auto provided, I was very impressed and believe that the actual repair would be conducted in a similar manner. This may make this review not as relevant as others here, but I will say this: If my personal vehicle was damaged, Capital Auto would be the first place I would consider for repairs.

This place is so amazing! Great Service, Great repair job, just amazing all over.
I came here with my Dad to fix about $ 7,000 worth of damage to his car. Steve the owner was very nice and took the time to discus every repair that was made on his car. They took care of the insurance company and did an amazing job with the repairs. The repairs made his car look newer than before his car was damaged in the first place. They even found some repairs needed that were missed during the initial estimate. I am so amazed at how professional they were and how great his car looks now! They even did a few fixes that they didn’t even charge such as replacing a broken light. After the repairs they washed the car and vacuumed the inside.
After we left the size of my dad’s smile was priceless. He was so happy with how his car looked and I am so happy with how well they took care of his car. Excellent customer service! And his car is now beautiful again!

This place is the best of the best when it comes to an auto body shop. My father and I highly recommend them. You won’t regret it. The best part is they take a very stressful situation and turn it around so that you leave with a sigh of relief and know that your car is in the best hands. When you pick up your new beautifully repaired car you’ll leave with a smile on your face.
