I have been there dozens of time. Our clothing is always ready on time and in like-​new condition. They are always professional, helpful, and courteous.

Way Over Priced! $ 96 for dry cleaning and some laundry. Also, rude owner as others have said. I took my dry cleaning in for same day service as they advertise. I travel quite a bit so I frequently need same day service. More than double what might I normally pay. The clerk was friendly but needed the owners approval for some reason. They spoke a few words in Mandarin, I believe, and then she said ok. She then gave me my ticket with the price. When I said Wow! she had «I know». Thanks but no thanks. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Two visits so far and I have yet to find much that would draw me here over the many other cleaning options in the area. Judging from the way the reviews skew, I’m apparently not the only one with this mindset.
At first I was drawn in by their signage boasting environmentally responsible cleaning. This is always a good thing, but it’s also a deterrent if it means the cost of business is significantly higher than elsewhere. On my last visit I came in with multiple bags of tablecloths to be washed. The lady behind the counter was curt and said it would be roughly $ 22 to $ 25, but she had to talk to the owner. I told her I’d explore other options and sure enough, I was easily able to find some cleaners who could beat that price by $ 5 or more. These weren’t cleaners that advertised environmental stability, but when you don’t have an unlimited budget, you make compromises.
I’m sure Camellia has some advantages so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. They do also have a 20% off Unilocal check-​in offer on comforter laundry, so that is something.

I really should’ve looked at the reviews before I brought anything to this place.
I brought my wedding dress here to be cleaned because they were located close to my school and I could just drop it off and pick it up easily.
I dropped it off in the bag I got from the dress shop. The dress was still bustled when I dropped it off. It took two weeks to clean and when I went to pick it up, my dress bag was nowhere to be found and they taped a few of their cheap bags together to try to fit over my dress. The bottom of the dress wasn’t covered by their sorry excuse of a bag.
I took the dress home to inspect it and it’s still filthy! I understand a wedding dress drags on the ground but I was expecting it to look a little cleaner than it was. It was still bustled, which I don’t know if that makes a difference, but you’d think they’d pay some kind of attention to that portion of fabric. They claim to use better cleaners that are safer for the fabric, yet told me they couldn’t do much spot treating because it looked like the dress was coming apart. WHAT?! Also, they took all of the beading work off to clean it and after learning this, I inspected the bead work. It’s half sewn back on! This pissed me off the most! If you’re going to take it apart to clean it, put it back together the right way!
I’m going to take my dress with no dress bag to my alterations shop to have my amazing seamstress fix what this place took apart!
Unbelievable!
I’m going to be seeing if I can get any part of my money back. $ 250 wasted on this garbage excuse of a dry cleaner! At least they’re refunding $ 50 so I can get the beading fixed on my dress.
Think twice and go anywhere else before you step foot in their door!

I’ve given this place numerous chances, with each time being worse than the last.
Visit 1: Pants were pressed inside out. I brought them back and they corrected the issue. Although inconvenient, I let it pass
Visit 2: I brought shirts in to be laundered and pressed. They wrote my name and phone number on the inside of all my shirts with black ink. Even white dress shirts! All other dry cleaners I’ve used simply tag the shirts. I should have taken this as a sign.
Final Visit: Since they had already written in many of my shirts I felt that no more harm could be done. I was proven wrong when I picked up 5 shirts and discovered that 4 had shattered button.
Save your wardrobe!

I love this place!!! The girls are sooo nice and welcoming. It has a small town feel or neighborhood welcoming. The girls always brighten my busy day with a smile and nice conversation. I have some alterations too. They did a nice job and the height that I needed for my pants and shoes that I wear. I have been using them for about two years now. I have never had a bad experience or bad service. I have a hectic busy work travel schedule and too find a cleaners that will work with me on my time frame… It’s comforting to know that this is one less thing to have to worry with. Thank you!

I LOVE to go to this place because they are so sweet.
they KNOW what they have to do with clothes and they are PERFECTLY done with mine every time. I’m always satisfied with them. some people say the price is higher than other cleaners, BUT their price is pretty WORTHY. even more important, they open on Saturday too. this is especially good for businessmen. DON’T SAY YOU DON’T HAVE A TIME TO STOP BY. this place is here for you!

OMG. Just picked up my white pants. I bought these pants because they were fully lined, and it’s hard to find fully lined white pants. I bought them at Talbots — i.e. not cheap.
The liner is GONE. When I dropped them off, they were lined. Now, they’re not. WTH?! No one said anything when I picked them up and they had the nerve to charge me?!? They’ve ruined my pants.
Time to find a new dry cleaner.

Don’t bring belts to this cleaner because they will loose it. They charge extra for belts that go with your outfit.
I was charged extra for belts that go with my dresses and they didn’t tell me that until after I went to pick up the dry cleaning. They lost my belt to one of my dresses and I asked the lady to check and see if they’re in the back. They refused, and the lady said «You had a very large order and I remembered your large order. If someone else got the belt they would let us know.»
They lost my belt. Where is the compensation?
Never again!

I needed some dry cleaning done and so I went to this place without checking Unilocal.The reason why I came here is because I always pass by this place and when I thought about dry cleaning, this was the first one that came to mind. The service was good and I was satisfied with my dry cleaning.
However, I was shocked about their prices for the dry cleaning service (so expensive) and I wondered if there were any same day dry cleaning places in the area. After dropping off my dry cleaning, I thought to myself I should have checked Unilocal first for other dry cleaners in the area for cheaper prices.

With so many other options in the area, it’s not worth going to a place that offers you rude service at high prices.
PASS.

Horrible service. They burned a button on 2 of my shirts and when asked if they were going to replace them, they said No. They also write all over the bottom of your shirts with all these numbers and stamps. This was the first cleaners to do that without asking me first.

Horrible! Awful service, insanely high prices and ugly building.

Go to East Sacramento Natural Cleaners instead. Better prices, better service.

Love this place. Before Camellia’s, I would get suits back which didn’t even smell clean. Woodard-​Ficetti cleaned them well but were pricey, shrank everything and refused to fix mistakes. I have yet to be unhappy with any article of clothing taken to Camellia’s. And they’re reasonably priced!

Camellia’s quoted me $ 60 for a job that two other places quoted at $ 40. Took my business somewhere else and was happy with the results.

I really enjoyed my first trip to the dry cleaners here in Sac.
So many places are only open during normal business hours M-​F! C’mon people, don’t you realize that most people, despite the bad economy, are at their own jobs during these hours? Well, Camellia Cleaners knows what’s up, because they are open weekends and till 7 on weeknights!
I needed two pairs of pants hemmed and my suit cleaned. The cleaning went well, getting out the water stains, and is was very inexpensive. The alterations were equally good, she was able to give me some solid advice so that I didn’t look like I was waiting for a flood. They ran less than $ 35 for all of the above, so I’m very pleased.
Head over to Camellia Cleaners if you don’t have the time to take off of work for those other places, it is conveniently located right off the 50 in East Sac.

Amazing service and friendly staff PLUS it’s environmentally safe dry cleaning. Prrrfct!

don’t know if ownership has changed since the last reviews – camellia cleaners does a great job with our dry cleaning every time. my boyfriend’s suit pants needed hemming and they came back to us fixed free of charge, plus they were ready in a day for SATURDAY, which was impossible to get at a number of other cleaners we checked around the area. the service is great too – the lady who’s usually there is super nice. my boyfriend’s shirts were 2 bucks a pop and dry cleaning prices are comparable to most other places – especially given all the rising production costs.
highly recommended for your drycleaning needs.
