California Customs And Collision

Took my car with 2 significant dents in it to the owner, Eddie and received a great quote. It was so good that my husband was skeptical that it including painting and swore it would not end well for me. My husband called Eddie and confirmed the work to be done and even went in person to check the quality of the work. Needless to say, we are more than impressed! They did a great job and we are referring family and friends.

Well I’ve been in 3 times now. Their service has always been great and pricing fair. I’ve had the roof repainted, a wheel well trim repainted and the bumper freshened up.
My 10 year old Toyota Tacoma looks outstanding. This old truck has been parked outside since day one, so some of the factory clear coat has failed, but with California Customs and Collision’s help no one believes me when I tell them it has over 205,000 miles on the clock.
I should also mention that I’ve never had to go back, they have always done the job right the first time.

STEER CLEAR AWAY FROM THESE PPL! if i can give them a 0 i would. Save the time, upset emotions and regrets and go somewhere else. I am so upset at his service that I will take out the time to write a detail review on my nightmare. Seriously are the other reviews either related or know these ppl (California collision) to be putting great reviews that I haven’t even encountered from the first time I dropped off the car to them till the last time, I got fed up with them? First of all, yes Eddie is a really nice guy that talks a good talk like he knows what he is talking about. Seems like he has a good head on his shoulder, deductible can be waived too! He did won the bid to do my auto body work from a bumper to bumper accident I had. When I dropped off the car to him on 4÷11÷2014 which was on a Friday, he assured me that I would have my car by ⁰⁴⁄₁₉ or the 21^st at the latest. Well the days comes and passes and no phone call from them. I am a pretty easy and understanding person and want the job done right so I didn’t rush them so I didn’t call to check up on them till 04/​25/​2014. Left a message, no return call, I call again the following Monday then he answers and tells me all the problems that he’s had so the work is been delayed. Me being understanding again, gives him more time. He again gives me a date when the work would be done and again of course the day comes and goes, I call no answer. By this time I feel he is taking my kindness for weakness. I left him a message that his customer service is really poor that many times he has not called me to let me know how the work is going and I find it very unprofessional. I called and was able to catch him the next day (without him calling me of course) as he apologizes for his behavior, etc etc. on and on about his problems he has been having there, by this time I don’t want to hear it. Now we are in May, the 17^th that I would have my car and that he was going to TRY his hardest. Sat comes no call again. Monday comes ⁰⁵⁄₁₉ I called him demanding to get my car. My exact word to him was that I feel that I am pushing him to work on my car that he is getting paid to do and I want my car NOW. He pleaded and ask me for one more day which would be 05/​20/​2014 that my car would be ready. Again me being nice agreed to go and get it tomorrow. If not I was going to get it regardless work is done or not and if I need to call the cops then I will. 05÷20÷214 I get my car and had to come right back around the corner as I began to leave the place. (RU EFFING SERIOUS) my headlight where the damage is done is not working. Takes it right back to him and he doesn’t have the part for it and of course swears that it was working when he checked it. (honestly, I feel that, through me pressuring him to get my car fixed, they did the most sloppiest job ever, you can tell that the paint if still fresh, meaning that the whole time it was there at the shop, he didn’t even touched the car.) now I have to bring the car back again to them (I remind you, as if I have all this time to be calling and going back and forth to them). So I agreed to take the car back because supposedly the light can only be from Lexus. I am frustrated but at the same time, relieved that my car is not in their hands anymore and I have my car back so I have a little more control. I couldn’t make the agree time but I called him Friday 05/​23/​2014 to see if I can bring it in 05/​27/​2014. He agreed, I had to take a extended lunch and makeup for it to only go there is the man is not there. GESSSHHHHH CAN THIS REVIEW GET ANY WORSE? (did I mention the work that he did after I discovered when getting home was not satisfactory at all?) and he agreed to look at it again when I go back to get my signal light put in. I waited and had to be back in time and no Eddie so I left the premises very upset. I feel that they are so unprofessional; Eddie just talks a good talk but clearly needs work on their customer service skills. The work is sloppy, if you are going to be in this business, there are plenty out there that does extraordinary work so you have to set yourself apart from them by giving the best you can. Not mediocre, sloppy work and expect to kick them out the door and not come back to demand what you were paid to do. So a month and a week out, i have my car but cant drive it due to the signal light is out and sloppy work. I wondered it i was not a woman he would of treated me this way? I just left him a message that i will get it done somewhere else, the hood redone and light put in and send him the bill, if he doesnt want to pay it, i will see him in court. ARE WE STILL FROM THE SAME PLANET, OR AM I ASKING FOR TOO MUCH JUST TO PLEASE DO THE JOB YOU ARE PAID TO?

Eddie was referred to me by Ken across the street. And was I ever so happy with the result. Eddie was easy to work with, explained everything to me, and did a great job overall. He mentioned that they have a high-​tech camera that comes in and takes a picture of the existing paint and comes up with a special mix so they can match the rest of your body perfectly. If you don’t know your paint code, no more guessing! I uploaded a pic so you can see my before and after. I’ll definitely be referring anyone I know that needs paint/​body work here.
