Ramon Martinez and Builder Bee Construction remodeled our single bathroom in the Land Park home we bought in early 2015. He took over the job from us after we demolished the bath to the studs and after we had some of the plumbing already replaced by a tradesman, which complicated the job. We found Ramon to be respectful, honest, hard-​working, reliable, flexible and generous with his time. The work performed was appropriate for us, which was important because the job wasn’t so big, and other contractors tried to upsell us on our very small and modest bathroom.
We threw a couple of change orders at BBC during the project, but Ramon just rolled with it. He even ended up doing a bit of extra finish work without charging us, which we found to be pretty amazing.
Ramon & BBC are very competent builders and know how to handle renovations in older home. In fact, we are starting to work with Ramon again on the next phase of our renovation

Ramon Martinez and his crew have done several jobs for me over the last year and have always been prompt, neat, and attentive to details. I’ve had hardwood flooring installed in an upstairs bedroom, a bathtub removed and replaced with a shower enclosure, granite countertops installed, an unused garage bathroom converted to a pantry, living room hardwood flooring repaired and refinished, as well as several other projects, and my wife and I have always been pleased with the work that has been done. On my recommendation, my sister hired Builder Bee Construction to replace the tile flooring in their Serrano home and were very pleased with the whole process, from getting the bid through installation and touch ups. Description Of Work:
Ramon remodeled our entire kitchen. He and his crew installed upper & lower base cabinets, double under-​counter sink, under-​cabinet lighting. He also removed old vinyl floor and stained & refinished our heartwood sub-​floor as a beautiful new finished floor. Replaced overhead lights and outlets and switches. Had granite counter tops cut and installed. It seems that Ramon Martinez, the contractor, can get anything done, either himself or with his employees and subcontractors. He aims for happy, satisfied customers. I am a detail-​oriented architect, and I have been very impressed with Builder Bee’s work. On my own home, he is the only guy I call. I have built several hundred homes in my career, and he is the one my wife & I use on our own home. He is very able to do great work, meet our requests, and do the work at a very reasonable cost. No surprises! He shows up every day, and manages a great crew of talented guys.

Ramon arrived on time for our appointments and was on the job every day, including weekends, during the project. He prepared a thorough bid and proceeded to construct the kitchen. We cooked in an electric skillet while Ramon’s crew worked in the kitchen. He is responsible and reliable, and does beautiful work with the help of his crew. We’ve received many compliments on our remodeled kitchen. I was very pleased with Builder Bee’s work, and I have called Ramon back numerous times for other, smaller jobs.

If you are in need of any service to your house I highly recommend Ramon at Builder Bee. I moved to Galt 6 months ago and hired him as my contractor for duties that included interior paint, crown molding, electrical, hauling and more recently my back yard patio. I have gotten top service at a very reasonable rate. Ramon is courteous and finishes every job to perfection. I can assure anyone out there that is in need of contractor services you will not get it done as good or will you get a better price. We have used Builder Bee numerous times for all types of home repairs and installations. I love this guy. His rates are very reasonable, and he makes certain we are more than satisfied with every job. I really can’t recommend him highly enough as the work he does is excellent and he is honest and a really nice guy as well. (We don’t even shop around when we need something fixed or installed anymore because we know that no one will be more reasonably priced or easier to work with.)

pretty clear this guy does not want work. I had him over to quote lots of work at a house i am moving into and he only quoted part of the work while he was at the residence. i called him 2 weeks after i had him out for the quote and he said that he sent it on email. I doubt greatly ifthat happened at all becasue his reply to me was for me to email him so he can just reply back. i toldhim i’m taking care of 2 infants (holding one now and typing) and dont have time to email him. his reply to me was that he doesn’t want to work with me because i didnt want to send him the email. i doubt the first quote was ever sent and truly doubt he would do a good job anyways. I’ve been severely dissapointed with multiple contractors i’ve had quote work from Unilocal so far and believe many just have freinds or people they did good work for be the only one’s that write reveiws on Unilocal.I don’t want to here excuses or reasons why you don’t want to work I’m looking for people who want to actually work. Good Luck and steer clear of this one unless you want to waste time.

It seems that Ramon Martinez, the contractor at Builder Bee, can do just about anything or find a good subcontractor to do it. He is an artist who does everything beautifully and sticks to his estimates. As an architect, I can say that he is one of the most reliable contractors for residential construction, including remodels, that I have worked with. He re-​did our kitchen with new cabinetry, sink, floor, granite countertops: all beautiful and for reasonable rates.

We’ve used Builder Bee twice for kitchen remodels, and each time Ramon and his crew have done an outstanding job. Ramon really focuses on communication and customer service – he truly wants you to feel satisfied with the results. His prices are very reasonable, too.
