Awesome place to live. Super safe and well kept property. Pool is killer and work out center is well done. Management is extremely helpful any time anything is needed; they are very easy to deal with.
I visited all the other apartment communities within a 10 mile radius and trust me… no other community compares to Broadstone. Living here is like having your own condo… the absolute best floor plans with a comfortable and clean interior, you definitely feel good when you come home.

My family recently moved out of Broadstone at Strawberry Creek after one year of leasing. A few months before we left we were delivered a 10% rate increase that was given to all residents. We were told that every year the rent gets increased, no matter their occupancy. We ended up renting a house for a cheaper price than the apartment. The biggest disappointment was regarding the swimming pool. The lease that we signed clearly states the pool will be heated between the months of April and October and we were told this by the leasing agent when we went
July I decided to inquire about whether or not the pool was heated due to it being extremely cold after a re-fill.The pool was practically unusable (there were usually a couple people that were brave enough to give it a whirl) We asked a different leasing agent than the one we had signed with, as she was no longer with the company. She informed us that there was no pool heater. I thought to myself, what do you mean no pool heater? When I further inquired with the manager, he informed us (and I quote from the email he sent me) «The pool is not heated. Our lease states that all pool heaters are turned off Nov.1 through April 15. I am sorry if you thought the pool was heated because of that one line, paragraph number 20. Our lease is used by our entire company. Some pools are heated and some are not, like ours.» I’m sorry, I signed a legal document that said the pool would be heated… and now it turns out it’s not? What’s even more interesting is we were able to look over the wall at the pool equipment area and saw a pool heater sitting right there! When another employee was questioned, they told us that the pool heater was brand new installed several years ago when the property was acquired by Decron, but they refuse to turn it on. I could only assume the reason being to save on the utility expense. The employee also said that they got a lot of complaints regarding this, but management refused to do anything about it and told them to mind their own business. I decided to call their parent company, Decron, and inquire about the pool heater. After all, they must not be aware of what is going on. What I got was even more disappointment. When I was trying to discuss the situation with the VP of Asset Management, all he could do was argue and cut me off while I was speaking. He said he wasn’t aware of what the complex was equipped with, but still defended them to the hill. I always thought those in upper management should at least be a little more willing to at the very least LISTEN to the customer, but he truly had zero customer service
the end of that conversation, I was left with nothing but more disappointment and the thought that there was nothing else I could do. The terrible management just continues on though…7 months later we are moving out of the unit. We spent a few days making sure it was good and clean. I took pictures of all the bathrooms, the kitchen, the refrigerator, etc. I knew we would be paying for the carpet to get shampooed, that’s a give-​in, but anticipated the rest of the deposit to come back to us. Silly me, that was definitely not what happened. I got a notice stating that I owed money to them. I was informed of the obvious carpet cleaning charge which was $ 115 and they tacked on some additions… apartment cleaning charge of $ 140, blind replacement of $ 14.99 and a painting charge of $ 150.Okay, the blind had a couple of minorly bent blinds where they overlapped the handle of the door. I’ll eat that, it’s only $ 15. In the lease it states they can charge you to paint if you are not there 18 months, ok I concede to that too… but the problem lied in the cleaning charge. I have pictures that show how clean we left the apartment. I informed the manager that I would like to be informed on what needed cleaning. He never sent anything to me. The balance he wants me to pay is $ 109 and change. With his lack of response I kind of assumed he might be reversing the charge as he has no documentation stating what needed to be cleaned and I told him I have pictures I would be glad to send him showing how clean the apartment was when we left it. Boy was I mistaken. Yesterday I received collection notices for the amount due $ 109 and change from a collection company. I cannot believe the way this company operates and treats it’s customers. I have been in customer service my entire working life and I have never seen anything like this before. I do not agree that the customer is always right, but you at least have to give the customer the benefit of the doubt and research the situations thoroughly and then weigh your decisions/​actions against the consequences to the company as a whole. I truly hope more people read this review and think to question their decision to do business with this company, Broadstone at Strawberry Creek or Decron Properties.

Let’s go straight to the point, i DONT recommend this apartment.
First of all, the environment is bad. If you live here, you can see wild CATS everywhere. For a person that scared of cats like me, this is sooo uncomfortable. I dont dare to even open the door to the balcony. I called the office and talked about how i feel but nope, they dont seems to care.
Second, the wall is so thin that you CANT enjoy your space comfortably. I work day time and at night i want to relax and enjoy my day but… Even the sounds of my TV can annoy my neighbor. They keep calling the security and complaint. I keep the sound as low as possible (no amplified speaker just speaker from TV and the bar sound not even 10), my neighbor is still not happy. However, since my apartment on the ground floor and i can hear their footsteps a lot.
Third reason is the main point. It is NOT secure to live here. Homeless people are seen often, who knows what they could do? I will attach a photo of how the mailbox of the whole apartment was broken and when i called security to report, 5 hours later i still see the mess.
This apartment’s services suck!

This place is nice, very expensive and if you have someone that smokes in your area which I do you can’t enjoy all the parts of your unit. My kids have a health condition and the smoking affects them so they can’t play in the balcony nor can we get fresh air we get drifting smoke from the smoker. When notifying the leasing office I emailed and called. The girls in the office were extremely rude and said that the person pays rent like I do and what they do on their porch is their business and they won’t stop. They don’t have a smoking policy so it’s ok not to BBQ on your porch but you can smoke! My kids and I can taste the smoke and it feels like we smoke 10 packs of cigarettes and we don’t even smoke!
I spoke with the manager, hope it gets resolved! As if this day it’s unresolved.

I am a resident here at Broadstone apartments. I have been living here for almost 2 years now. Its a very nice place to live for a Luxury apartment complex. There are many amenities which make living here comfortable such as washer/​dryer, clean and well kept pool area, security, gym, gated complex & friendly professional staff.
It is a true statement «you get what you pay for»

I would NOT rent from this apartment complex ever again in life! You are not given an assigned parking space, they do NOT have enough assigned parking spaces for the tenants. If you want an assigned parking space you are charged a monthly fee on top of your rent for an assigned parking space. Parking SUCKS!!! The property management is HORRIBLE!!! We were told our lease would be for 7 months… We were relocating from The Bay area… They LIED and locked us into a YEAR lease and did NOT honor that it was stated that the lease was for 7months!!! They are RUDE &‘d are LIARS!!! I wouyld NOT refer nor recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE… There are several beautiful apartments in the Elk Grove area!!! And this is actually NOT Elk Grove it’s Sacramento!!! It is on Calvine Road… The aparments that are on Calvine are horrible… It is SOOOOO LOUD you can not open your windows for fresh air and you can NOT sleep with your windows open to get fresh air because it is sooooooooo loud… The staff is very unprofessional… Nothing but women who act like they have sticks up their asses!!! This has been a HORRIBLE living experience!!!
