Just had BP out this week to cut down and stump grind 6 trees. I am very pleased with the service I received from Billy and his crew. They were professional and left my yard and all areas they worked very clean before they left.

Received a postcard in the mail offering a 20% discount. Called to make appointment for stump grinding 3 stumps. Service made appointment for 7:00 pm on Thursday. Received call that morning to cancel appointment. Did not offer to reschedule they tried to offer that I call another contractor that they use. I guess my job was not worth coming out. They just lost a customer and a decent amount of money. Do not use this contractor. Lazy and useless. Actually should have given 0 stars if I could have.

We had two very large cottonwood trees — at least 50 feet tall that were up against the deck of the house that were dead and needed to be removed. Bill was quick on the follow up for a request for a quote, and most importantly had the right equipment to deal with such large trees. Bill and his crew was professional, and they got the job done and cleaned up on schedule. In addition to the excellent service, Bill is very knowledgeable about trees, and caring for them he had several good suggestions for some of the other trees on the property.

Our soccer club had to pay for their work, a $ 10,000 ripoff to remove a couple of trees and some dirt.
Stay far away.

To anyone who is considering hiring BP Tree Services, formerly know as Pyatt Tree Services, read ALL the reviews first. 5 of the 6 «not recommended» reviews are spot on, in addition to the «recommended» reviews.
He does not have liability insurance. This is a very big deal when hiring a tree service! For those of you who have been ripped off by Bill Pyatt, I suggest filing a complaint with the Contractor’s licensing bureau.
He’s obviously lied to the contractor’s board about «having no employees» in order to get out of paying for worker’s comp.
«This license is exempt from having workers compensation insurance; they certified that they have no employees at this time.»
Their worker’s comp license was cancelled for non-​payment in 2009. Their liability insurance is active for now, but going over the history of how many times it’s been cancelled (again for non-​payment) is mind boggling.
Avoid this company at all costs.

DON’T sign up for free wood chips! Once your name is on their list they feel free to randomly dump any and all of the trash they remove from a clients property without contacting you and they will not pick it back up! I went to get my newspaper at 7am from the driveway and it was completely covered with wood chips and cement chunks with various garbage and I hadn’t asked for it. When I called them they said they would pick it up but didn’t. After a week they refused to return my call and then just hung up on me. It cost $ 400 to remove and I’ll work at getting them to pay me back but I would never trust them with any work any where near my property!

please remember to leave sufficient contact information. we must obtain verbal approval prior to making a delivery. if we cannot contact you, we will deliver to the next person on the list. **
what was delivered was items that belonged in the city dump. they left concrete, brick, rocks, along with the wood chips. my yard and driveway is not a dump, if i would have know they would do this in such a manner i would have never signed up for this free service.
getting them to come out an pick it up in a timely manner is proving frustrating. they will not call me back to address the issue. i think i will need to hire a 3^rd party to haul the debris away and send them the bill or take them to small claims.
this is a contract and no call and leaving concrete, brick’s from another person“s home is plain wrong.

I’m very glad I hired BP Tree Services to remove our 100 ft. tall cottonwood tree. It was a complex tree with many thick branches that could be the trunk of other trees.
The tree was surrounded by houses on 3 sides– 5 feet from our house and about 10 – 15 feet from the others. Additionally, it was a few inches away from a cement fence. Without professional judgement on the cutting and the controlled falling of the dangerous branches and the main trunk, much damage could have occurred. However, nothing happened. They got the job done perfectly.
The tree was removed and they cleaned up the yard afterwards. In fact the yard looked even better than before. I recommend BP Tree Services to anyone who wants tree services. They are professionals who show up early to our appointments and stayed until the job was done. I thank the team for their service.

My neighbors hired this company to remove 3 redwood trees from their property. I’ve never dealt with a more unprofessional company in my life. To start, they let themselves into my backyard without asking permission and continued to use my property throughout the process.
While they were cutting down one of the trees, a large branch fell onto our shared fence and took out about an 8 foot section. Fixing the fence should have been the priority, but it was not. We kept asking when the fence would be repaired and they told us over and over that someone was getting supplies to fix the fence. When I finally confronted them about it, one of their workers got in my face and told me had worked hard all day and wasn’t about to fix the fence that night. We even called the owner of the company, and he never returned our phone call. When they finally did repair the fence on the 3^rd day, they didn’t repair it correctly. Instead of setting a new concrete post, they set a wood post that will likely rot in 6 months.
In addition to all of this, my neighbor told this contractor to cut all of my trees back to the fence line. I’ve never seen men hack trees so poorly — they didn’t trim them with care or with any concern to the tree. My trees are now misshapen and other branches have already fallen off due to the way they were cut. The trees will likely die.
I would never hire this company to cut down trees or do any trimming of trees you have. As I said, they were completely rude and unprofessional throughout the entire process.

So far, the guy that is suppose to come give me a quote for my one tree & 2 stump removal is 2 hours late. I had to call FOUR times to even get an appointment. I will not be calling again or be telling people to use these guys. EVER.
