Bouquet of Elegance Floral Shop

No surprise this place only has one star. The customer service is horrible. I live in Southern California and randomly got a charge on my credit card from this flower shop. I do have family that live in Nor Cal, but I have not sent flowers to anyone since Mother’s Day (over a month ago). When I saw the charge, this didn’t even cross my mind. I called and it took 2 days to get a hold of someone. The person I spoke to could give me absolutely no information. He was horrible to understand. It took twice as long to figure out this situation because I couldn’t tell what he was saying. To make matters worse, he couldn’t read the ticket, so he had no clue who the flowers went to, the address it went to, or the date they were send. Now, I get to dig through bank statements from April, May and June to see if I have been double charged for this. I still don’t even know if this is the flower shop I ordered from.

Used a groupon for flowers. The delivery guy sprayed the flowers before ringing the doorbell which damaged the delicate leaves. Daisies were stuffed in the middle as filler. The flowers were for a 26^th birthday sent from sister to sister. The arrangement came in a pink baby wagon with a stuffed baby sheep. Not what was ordered. They apologized for the mix up and promised to have the right flowers delivered the next day. It never happened. Repeated phone calls to what turns out to be the owner’s cell phone were unable to go through because her mailbox was full. FTD made good on a refund and issued a $ 20 gift certificate for the time spent on trying to rectify the problem. FTD is a little tricky because they route most of their customer service calls off shore. Just ask to be transferred to the USA. They can’t refuse. A supervisor in Illinois took care of the refund and asked not to be judged for this incident. I think this local flower shop is going under and is hanging by a stamen. Don’t use them, even if it is a Groupon deal.

I purchased a certificate for this business online at a site similar to Groupon. I called them to place an order and the phone # appeared to be a personal cell #. I called again and tried to leave a message but the mailbox was full. So, I thought I would just go by and place the order but I found the business is run out of a personal residence. So, I texted the #, explained I bought the certificate, and what item I wanted to buy and Lita (owner) responded and said «We can do this. Call this # back and ask for Daniel.» I called a few more times and got the same mailbox full message. Finally 2 hours later, they finally answered. I spoke with Daniel and he put Lita (owner) on the line and she said we won’t honor the certificate and we aren’t participating in any discounted programs. And then she hung up. Really? It is no wonder that all of the other reviews are bad. Stay clear of this business. If you can even call it that. I am now working on getting a refund from the online discount site. Wow!

This place is unbelievably by far the worst place to get flowers from. They sent the wrong arrangement twice. The quality of the flowers that are supposed to be «guaranteed «fresh are not. They sent chocolate to a vegan which wasn’t what the original order requested TWICE and they refuse to give a refund and are rude. Look at the pictures. At this point I am just shocked that a company that treats their customers this way and manage to stay in business. Read the reviews guys this place is horrible.

I give them 2 stars only for the arrangement, it was beautiful. I give them 0 STARS FOR THE QUALITY of the arrangement. They made it LOOK very nice, but that did not last long.
Within a couple of hours of delivery, what ever the filler in the arrangement was, started falling off, and flying around. Little «puffs» of stuff all over the place! We had to take it outside, disassemble the arrangement and make one of our own without the «puffy stuff».
Most florists would use baby’s breath or something as filler, but I have never seen this stuff in an arrangement before. It’s like they went out back and looked for something to stick in there!

My MIL sent me a bouquet for my birthday, When I got the flowers they looked not so fresh, but thought they would perk up. By the second day they look like they were at least 2 weeks old. I was so disappointed that she was thoughtful enough to send me these and yet the florist isn’t thoughtful enough to use fresh flowers. I sent them an email with a pic and got no response. So disappointed. I won’t recommend this place ever.

Please save yourself the aggravation and do not bring your business here. I ordered a Mother’s Day bouquet that was never delivered, and when I called to see why it wasn’t, I was ignored for days. Once finally getting through, I was rudely informed that my bouquet was not delivered, and I was not offered a refund. I ended up canceling, and here it is, four week later, and I still haven’t received a refund. Terrible service, terrible choice. And my mother’s day surprise was ruined, and I’m out $ 50.

My sister sent flower to me as a «Get Well» sentiment and this is the level of service and product The Bouquet of Elegance deemed appropriate. My sister was notified that I received the flowers on 6÷10÷14 after 5pm, so when I didn’t call or text to say «thank you», she was dismayed. She called me today around noon to ask if I had received my flowers, to which I replied «no». She made phone calls and contacted the original online florist who agreed to refund her the shipping and handling and reassured her that the flowers would be delivered soon. At 4:30pm, my sister called me back and asked me if I had received the flowers, to which I said, «no». She was on her way home from work and said she would call to see what the issue in fact was. At approximately 4:40, I received a knock on the door and the delivery of an unsightly bouquet of flowers. My sister, who has impeccable taste, would have never selected such an inadequate display of cheap flowers as a gift for anyone, much less me.
I took photos, call the florist and spoke to the owner, Lita Siebenthal. Ms. Siebenthal has quite a few excuses and at one time said she was unfamiliar with the order and then in another sentence said she had given my sister a «discount». I suspect she meant the return of the handling and shipping to to the lateness of the delivery. I spoke again to my sister and she asked me to go online and review her order for a French Country Bouquet. I looked at the online photo of the flowers and realized that what Bouquet of Elegance had delivered was a cheapened version which only resembled the online photo by way of being flowers in a bucket. A dirty bucket too. The flowers were lopsided, slightly wilted and had none with any fragrance and are the least expensive flowers one can purchase I suspect.
Ms. Siebenthal offered to have the display picked up and redone, but when I called back before 5pm and the Bouquet of Elegance did not pick up there phone. I left a voice mail requesting they come and get their floral arrangement today and refund my sister’s money. I would never use this florist, for three reasons, they cheapened the order, dissembled about the delivery and the owner was untruthful. When you give someone like this access to your credit card for purchases you need to have trust that they will do a fantastic job for the customer. So far, not so much.- I called back again today 6÷12÷2014 and this company would not answer the phone (probably recognized my number). I called until I finally received voice mail and asked them to come and pick up their ugly floral arrangement and give a credit back to my sister. After reading the Unilocal Reviews I advise everyone to not use this florist. They appear to be operating from a residence in Sac and have several other businesses operating from the same phone and address locations. Seems sketchy to me.
After speaking with my sister, Just Flowers has no guarantee of product quality, so do not use them either. Call your local florist and order from someone reputable who takes pride in their work and product. I am thinking that now that I have Bouquet of Elegance Address I will return these flowers as soon as I am well enough to drive, perhaps I can get the news media to go with me! RIP OFF REPORT.

My husband contacted FTD, and FTD agreed the condition of the bouquet was unacceptable and promised to have it replaced. However, this floral shop never delivered the promised replacement arrangement. Ultimately, we got a refund from FTD. Too bad they can’t give you back your time spent on hold waiting to talk to customer service!

Sadly, I had the same experience as Shannan W. Flowers were ordered through FTD and the order was filled by Bouquet of Elegance Floral Shop. They were supposed to be delivered on ²⁄₁₃ but were actually delivered on ²⁄₁₄. Some of the blooms were already wilted upon receipt. Now, the next morning, they look positively dreadful. My boyfriend spent a good bit of money to send flowers, and this florist completely botched the job.

My husband was so thoughtful and sent a bouquet of flowers to cheer me up when my Grandma was sick. Unfortunately, he ordered online… I received an arrangement in an ugly white basket, with carnations, daisys, three un-​bloomed yellow lilys and TONS of greenery… I removed most of the greenery so I could at least see the flowers. The flowers were wilted the very next day… I called the flower shop and told them they were wilted. They advised they would send a new arrangement the next day and I never received one. My husband called and complained and still, three days later, I havent received a new arrangement. I found out my husband paid $ 80 for this arrangement!!! This florist is awful and I will never use them again.

I used FTD and ordered 3 dozen long stem roses for my wife. When they showed up it was three dozen half dead roses sprayed with glitter mashed into one big clump you could not tell where one rose started and one ended. I called the flower shop they said they would re– deliver but two days later nothing. I called back and asked why they had not been re– delivered and the lady said she had no idea. I am now working with FTD to get my money back. I suggest you stay away from this flower shop it is not worth the head ache.
Update: They redelivered 10 days after my original order to my wife’s work and demanded the original vase back of course she had taken the flowers home it was very embarrassing for her and when she told the delivery guy just to take back the flowers he refused and left. I called FTD back and they agreed that 10 day later was unacceptable and refunded my money. The flowers looked just as bad the second time one mashed up mess sprayed with glitter. I tried to call the flower shop and complain but they will not take my call. I am not one to complain this is my first review on Unilocal but I wanted people to know how poor the quality and service was at Bouquet of Elegance Floral Shop

I ordered birthday flowers through Teleflora to be delivered to my partner at his place of work. This was to be a surprise. I paid $ 10 extra to have them delivered before 1pm since that was the time he left work. They did not arrive until around 2pm, well after he was gone. A day later, I noticed some flowers were browning and beginning to wilt. Within two days half the bouquet was ruined. The card attached to the flowers was Bouquet of Elegance on Hunts Run Way. I will never use Teleflora or Bouquet of Elegance again.
