Bottle & Barlow

I’m completely happy with my cut at Bottle and Barlow! I saw Jill and she took her time to make sure she got it right. There’s a nice vibe in the place and it feels like a place for grown-​ups. The complimentary (and tasty!) old fashioned was a nice touch, too! I would definitely recommend this place.

Came by for a haircut, never found a stable barber in Sacramento and I was referred to Anthony. The end results were great and will come back soon.
They also pour drinks while you wait.

Incredibly happy with my experience today! Brandon was the barber that helped me today! He wasn’t just a barber; he was an artist! I felt very welcome. Great environment and a lot of fun! I had a cold brew for my drink. It definitely was one of the best I’ve had. It was very smooth and tasted how cold brew is supposed to taste! Thank you Bottle and Barlow! You definitely will be seeing me again!

This was my first time to Bottle and Barlow. I scheduled Anthony to be my barber. His service is top notch. The haircut and beard trimming was on point! I have found my new favorite place to go to. One of the best parts of going there is that the drink is included with the haircut.

Great place for old fashion hair cuts, I love getting my side part pomp hair style, my barber he goes by the name is skills lives up to his name. Love the atmosphere there, great services! The hostess I didn’t catch her name but she’s awesome! Great experience will be my main place to get my clips!

Went in for the first time today. Brandon was amazing. My hair looks great. Beard lined up and straight razor shave looks tight. Will be back many more times.

So I have very short hair & have found that I like going to barber shops more than salons. One reason being I get my hair cut every 2 – 2.5 weeks and don’t really like paying $ 60 for a trim each time. I also really like having my hair shaved instead of trimmed with shears. I love the look.
I saw Jill yesterday & she did a really good job. I had her go shorter than what I am used to. I like it a lot, but may stick with the 3.5 blade instead… still not sure.
My bf had his hair done here a few weeks ago and it came out very clean. Looked great. Sometimes we get home & I have to trim some of his hair that was somehow missed. I don’t think that will happen here.
Décor is awesome. Good drinks, nice place to hangout inside or out, especially while you’re waiting your turn for a hair cut. What I really like is I don’t have to make an appointment day of like the place I was going to previously. I’m busy and I want a more convenient way to schedule an appointment — like how Bottle & Barlow has their set up online.
Ladies — they do not cut women’s hair. Long hair that is. Maybe another reason I like this place. More laid back than salons. I’m not a very girly girl so this place is good for me.

I just got out of a haircut with Josh and I have to say it is the best haircut I’ve ever gotten, salon or barber hands down. I’m always skeptical about going to barbers and even salons because I have really thick, dense, curly hair that not everybody knows how to tame. But Josh was absolutely fantastic.
I wasn’t too sure with what I wanted, I just told him that I wanted to get rid of my undercut, so I pretty much let him freestyle my haircut. He was great with communicating with me, making sure that everything he did, I was cool with it. His fade is amazing and on point. I’m really glad to have found my new barber.

Also the bar at bottle and barlow is really good. I had the Moscow mule and it was definitely an interesting mix! I loved it!

Loved it! I went to the website, read the barbers bios and made an appointment online. I was able to find free parking, walked right in and was greeted promptly. I was offered a complementary cocktail with a cover (too keep hair out of it) and sat down to wait for my barber Josh. I got to watch a bit of the Giants game on the single centrally located TV before Josh was ready to take me. Anthony works right at entrance level and its fun to watch the master at craft. All the employees have fun banter back and forth, Its a very inviting atmosphere. I asked Josh to give me a modern barbershop twist on the hair style I had working and he nailed it. I have been to two other shops that just couldn’t get it right. Thank you Josh!

Finally I can make an appointment for an amazing haircut. So I held off a bit before heading over to see Anthony because I had an upcoming trip to Las Vegas. I asked him to modernize my look a bit and he did just that. I got a great cut as always.
So men, ladies, and everything inbetween. If you want a nice cut then come in and get one from anyone of the great staff.
As far as the look of the place, its great. Its classic with a modern flair. I really enjoyed my time in there chair there. I have yet to venture to the bar though I expect to be smoking cigars on the patio with a drink real soon.

My boyfriend just got his haircut by Brandon and he did a fabulous job. He really took his time and it came out awesome. It’s a really hip and trendy place and the people are very welcoming and kind. We live in Stockton, but we’ll make the drive up to Sac for Bottles and Barlow.

My barber Josh had moved over there. Initially you can tell how much dedication and time was put into it. The bar was great, allowing to have a craft drink while getting your haircut was outstanding. Plus the cuts that Josh does are always top notch. They also do shaves which I will be going back for. Great experience and good people.
