Body Work With Serena

I’ve been looking for a good masseuse for a while who actually provides deep tissue work and makes good use of session time and I’ve found just that in Serena!
Parking is easy, the building has its own lot. The chiropractic office is cozy and the rooms are spacious.
She has really cool stories and is easy to talk to, she made me feel very comfortable!
I work a lot, go to school, and workout daily, so I’m always stressed/​sore, and Serena helped me to relax. She’s strong with consistent motions which helped to roll out what was needed. My shoulders feel much more loose, which has always been a weakness of mine; I feel like I can actually relax them instead of having them shrugged upwards.
I had some soreness from the massaged areas the next day, which is exactly how it should be, I can tell my muscles have been impacted in the best of ways.

So far, I’ve had 2 sessions with Serena and each have been AMAZING.
Serena has the intuitive touch and the touch to bring relief and healing to aching parts of the body – even if you didn’t even know the pain was there to begin with. She pays close attention to where you are feeling direct pain and searches for the causes and works those issues and tensions out. I feel a lot of tension in my back but she found a lot of my tension was in a whole other part of my body causing that! It was amazing!!! And she also paid attention to how much pressure my body can take – considering that I was so tender already, she did not apply too much pressure but the appropriate amount specially for my body and tolerance.
This is not your typical massage that has a routine to just get you in and out. She gives more attention to the parts of the body that need it in order for you to heal. You will definitely feel your body trying to heal those places over the next few days and feel immediate relief after your session with her. Also, she is such a nice and loving and considerate person.
I recommend her healing hands to everyone and anyone. Definitely worth it and I will definitely be returning too!
If the groupon is available still, it is worth purchasing and giving her a try. I have no doubt that you will enjoy it and want to return!

I starting going to Serena a couple months ago and highly recommend her, she is warm open caring and I feel very safe and tended to in her care. I have asked for deep work and she is strong and able to loosen those tight places and then there was a day I was feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable and just wanted a gentle relaxing treatment and she delivered the perfect massage for my mood. I will always shop until I find what feels «just right» for me and am sooo happy to have found Serena and look forward to a long term relationship with her for my bodywork.

I have had many massages from many different massuese. Serena really knows the body. She puts 100% of herself into the time you are with her. Her massages are thorough, professional but most importantly relieves the stress, or muscle tension needed for relief. This is no pansy massage like some of the chains that have new hires just starting. This is real deep tissue or what ever type of aches you need to relieve. The best thing is to communicate what your needs are so she can focus on what you need.
Serena massages are some of the best I have ever had, and I do not state this lightly.
I am a recreational cyclist who had just rode a century. Serena took all that muscle stress and allowed me to move easier and provide more flexibility through her deep tissue techniques.

The worst massage therapist ever! I haven’t been to anyone that hurt me so bad to the point I can’t move for two days. I got a series of three groupons from Body and Work with Serena for 90 mins deep tissue massage as a gift. First of all, I called to make an appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue massage, and it went straight to her voicemail. I left her a message, and four hours later, I called back and left her another message and stated that I want to get a massage with her. I had to wait two days later for her to return my call. Once I got the appointment, she texted me at 7:30am the next day to change my appointment to a later time. I told her I can’t, because I need to pick up my kid from school. I made the appointment for 11:00am. I got there at 10:49am and waited until 11:10am; no one came out to get me. Then I checked my phone and she said, «Are you on your way?» I texted back and said I’ve been here for 20+ mins at the waiting area. She then finally came out to get me. By then she had me fill out a questionnaire. By the time I was done changing… It was about 11:21am. Let’s cut to the chase, now it is 12:30pm and she says she needs to go to the restroom. I said «Ok! No problem!» I was thinking in my head… when she comes back, she’ll finish my massage. The only area she massaged was my shoulders and neck for an hour. She finally came back and said my 90 minute massage was over even though it was cut 30 minutes short! I went in to get a 90 mins deep tissue body massage not a damn neck and shoulders massage. If I could give her zero stars, I would’ve, but the lowest amount of stars I was allowed to rate her was one!

I purchased a groupon and usually don’t have high expectations, but Serena really surprised me! She’s very thorough and understands the body. I came in for 3 times each with a week to work on my legs, back and shoulders that were sore due to intense crossfit exercise. She knew where to go and where my muscles would release. She can do deep pressure or lighter. I requested a little of both and she could read me when the pressure was too much. Wonderful experience, easy scheduling, nice atmosphere. I recommend her.

Serena has systematically worked to alleviate my chronic pain. She’s not just well trained, she has an intuitive sense of tracking things to the origin and releasing it. Since I’ve started going to Serena regularly, I’m experiencing greater levels of flexibility and mobility that I didn’t have before.
