I have been impressed by many of the staff and the culture of the company I was placed at by Avanti. They all have been welcoming and inspirational since day one. I am more determined and motivated to give my best to contribute to the company’s success and to my fellow coworkers. This made me realize how fortunate I am to have met the wonderful staff at Avanti.
I truly enjoyed meeting and working with Ms. Evelyn Milani, Barbara Houston, Kami Dowling and all the staff at Avanti. They have served as an amazing advocate and they generously kept me updated throughout the hiring process. Even after I have been hired, Avant continued to reach out and even sent me a very thoughtful gift. This small and kind gesture means a lot, and it is a testament to Avanti’s genuine passion in matching and guiding job seekers to their dream careers.

They sent me to a client without doing their homework, even after I asked them specifically to follow up. They are not very good at providing information. I doubt I will ever work with them in the future.

Avanti placed me at Schools Credit Union very quickly and did a great job of matching me to a job I really love! Christina at the Elk Grove office is wonderful to work with, always has or finds answers to every question I might ask and has been a great advocate for me here. She always responds to my questions the same day, usually within a few minutes and has never given me expectations she hasn’t followed through on. It’s a pleasure to work with a contracting agency that is really on top of its game!
Like any contracting agency, they can only provide opportunities through business relationships they currently have in place and in a tight job market, that means matching you with a good company is tough when you factor in all the combinations of employee, employer and skills sets. Just because you have skills in one area doesn’t mean you fit the companies Avanti is currently working with! Patience is always a factor in working with any contractor.
All things considered, Avanti has done a great job taking care of me since day one. I love that they are small and that I feel like I actually have a professional relationship with them as opposed to feeling like just one of however many thousands at one of the larger agencies. They definitely earned the 5 stars I gave them for this review!

I’ve been contracting through Avanti since 2013, and they always find me great opportunities in the IT field to supplement my income. Christine, Evelyn, and Kami have been awesome to work with. They are professional, flexible and really work hard to find the right assignments for me. Evelyn even brought me a cake on the last day of my contract with Teichert Construction. If you have the skills, professionalism and flexibilty… they are a good choice.

I wish I could give negative stars! I took the time to email my resume and within a couple days was asked to do a phone interview. I was given a 3 hour window of when Evelyn Milani (President) would call. Well, I never got a call. Later that day I received an email from Evelyn explaining how busy she had gotten and that she would call the next day at an agreed time. Once again, no call received. Later that day I received a phone call from someone else with Avanti to call them back at my convenience. I feel that if they are too busy to make a short 15 minute call, they would not be good to work with. I felt that they are very unprofessional and most likely work the same way so needless to say, I didn’t give them any more of my time and didn’t call them back.

These folks are the absolutely Worst at what they do. I’ve never seen anything like a recruiting team that continually drops the ball when sending information to Clients, communicating with employees, and keeping everyone in the loop. They make job finding impossible in a rough market and waste money and time. I will say that I will never waste my time seeking any employment through them. Beware. (Looks like they go by Infosys also.)
