Ordered the Supreme Noodle and Thai Iced tea w/soymilk. The Supreme noodle was hearty and refreshing – the broth definitely tasted very herbal which I liked. I’m not a big fan of bean sprouts so I didn’t really like that it came in my noodles and of course because it’s vegetarian phở, it tastes a bit more bland than the traditional phở. But I do admit, unlike traditional phở places, this phở is definitely lighter and healthier – there’s no feeling of comatose or bloatedness afterward which is FANTASTIC. I actually feel energetic and awake after eating it rather than feeling tired and sleepy like I do with traditional meat phở. Also, the Thai tea was DELICIOUS! Simply the best Thai tea I’ve ever had, period! The customer service was great and interior was beautiful – the restaurant is nicely shaded and the music is very peaceful/relaxing. Overall, if you want to try healthier alternatives to your typical Vietnamese/southeast asian food, give this place a try!

Finally got to eat dinner here and it was delicious. Service was a bit slow but in the end worth the wait.

Wow, it’s been 5 years since I last ate here! That is how terrible my experience was the first time! We ate here last night because my friend suggested it and with hesitation, I went. Looks like the interior has been updated in the past couple years, but the outside still looks the same. Service was very polite and prompt. Food took a little longer than expected to come out but it was starting to get busy for dinner, so I understand that. My friend got their Pad Thai and I got the Supreme Wisdom dish. We also got the Buddha rolls and the fried mushroom appetizers. Let me tell you, those fried mushrooms were very tasty! Our entrees were very good, but my only complaint was I wish they put more tofu in my meal. I only counted about 3 – 4 bite size pieces. Overall the experience was very good, the food was good, and I’m happy to say that I will eat here again as they’ve changed my mind!

I wish I could eat here every day. I went with a friend the other day and was instantly compelled to return the next day to show my best friend. Everything I’ve tried has been fabulous and there are so many GLUTENFREEANDVEGANOPTIONS! How did I not know sooner??? Can I post emojis in Unilocal reviews!?? If so there would be a lot because I’m at a loss for words I’m simply in love with Andy Nguyens.

Greatest tasting vegetation food I have ever ate. But don’t ever come here if you are hungry or have a hour lunch. My last and final visit to this restaurant, the place only had two tables, three including ours but it took 15 minutes to get water. Over 30 minutes later, the waiter hasn’t taken out order. I walked out after that.

Great options for vegetarians and vegans alike! I liked the taste of the rolls and then fried buns but the buns were not very crisp. We got 15% off of the bill for checking in on Unilocal! They have good portions and it was interesting to find okra in our zen noodles ! :D

A very peaceful, tranquil dining experience that you should partake of when you are not a hurry to get anywhere. They have a glorious tea menu. You would be hard pressed to find this variety of teas at a place where you can also order food this good anywhere else in Sacramento. The food is delicious, but the service is ridiculously slow. Maybe I’m just impatient? Yes, it’s probably that. I want my water. I’m a thirsty lady. I’m still rolling out the four stars for the quality, variety, and price of the food, all reasonable and well worth the wait, most of the time. I enjoy the crispy balls appetizer and the noodle dishes most. The miraculous way they’re able to make vegetarian entrees taste as savory and filling as meat dishes is an art. The curry that I had the other night was kind of bland compared to the other treasures that I have sampled here, but it was still yummy. The veggies are cut into generous slices and always taste fresh. You’ll have to take some time and read what the menu items actually are, since each item has a peaceful meditation name. Ohm. There are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Tasty vegetarian food exists. You won’t even miss the meat. Last time I was here, my sun and stars ordered some sort of vegan burger thing and it was quite tasty. It even came with fries!

I cannot believe I have been missing out for three years. This is so close to my house and I’ve never been inside. The service and interior is so neat, clean, professional, and welcoming. The sampler, pad Thai, and supreme noodles were all excellent. Better than anything nearby. Excellent competition to your favorite eastern cuisine restaurant.

ok — after experiencing the meal, I’m a fan! We had the: — Treasure Rolls — Organic Maha Mushrooms — A curry dish(I forget the name, but it’s on their lunch menu — delicious!) — An eggplant dish I enjoyed each dish. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we took another drive, from Richmond to Sacramento the following weekend! The service was better 2nd time back, as we arrived during a less demanding hour(mid-afternoon). I can’t wait to go back & try some of the other dishes! 4÷23÷16 Mid afternoon seems to be the time to go, as it was not so busy… I must commend the service, as Hong was quite attentive to our needs, and friendly — a true professional. Portion size on the«maha mushrooms» seems to have decreased since our last visit… The Unilocal check-in discount is a nice plus!

I really, REEEALLY want to give this place 5 stars. The taste of the food is really great! I always get the Supreme Noodle, which is their version of Bun Bo Hue. I love it except for the fact that the broth is too oily. Other than that, I’d give this place 5 stars! I would have to agree with a previous review that they are understaffed. There’s usually one waitress/cashier running it. Good thing I always go here in non-dining hours. I also ordered their Treasure Rolls. The servings are pretty small for the price, but I would say that it’s still worth it. I like their peanut sauce. Next time I might try the other soups. Thanks for bringing us quality food! I’ll love these guys long time if they reduce the oil from the broth haha.

I’ve come to appreciate places like this when I go to dine out. It’s common as a person who eats a plant based diet(vegan), to be disappointed in a restaurants menu options. Settling for French fries, bread, or a small side salad. Andy Nguyen’s Vegetarian Cuisine makes me feel like I have a place to go in my town where I feel completely satisfied every-time I leave, with no shortage of variety and bold flavors in sight. It’s evident that there is a lot of thought and care that goes into their food. Just look at the menu names!

The food here is amazing! I still haven’t ventured out much food wise but from what I have tried the food here is delicious. The customer service is okay here. If you want sothing definitely have I got the bun bo hue noodle soup which is vegan and taste pretty good. It has more of a lemongrass taste to it but I love my noodles to have more of a lemon taste. I got the noodles spicy but didn’t feel like it was so I asked for a side of it & that definitely helped! My sister & I also got the appetizers assortment and it was pretty good. The tom yum paste that comes with the fries ocra is amazing! I would come back just for the tom yum paste! I also tried their chow fun & it wasn’t anything special but it was still good none the less. I would still order it because it was a good chow fun. Something I did was I added some of the tom yum paste from the appetizer to my chow fun & it made it 10 times better. Overall food here is definitely worth trying!

The best vegetarian spot downtown! I know the first rule of Buddhism is «All desire leads to suffering» but I sure desire some of this yummy food! The food is not always fresh, but ethical! The staff is friendly and this is a great place for good vegetarian Buddhist comfort food. I highly recommend the«supreme wisdom.»

This place has an amazing vegan selection. Most of their stuff is entirely plant based. But they make such hearty and delicious foods! The vibe is so clean, modern and peaceful. It is a peaceful experience; even the menu items have cute names fit to the theme. I went here with my bf and we got the mushroom pot, which had been deliciously prepared and it had amazing spice. It came with rice. Then we tried the vegan boa, which contained onions, herbs, and potato I think. It was so flavorful, I’ll have to get those again. I love this place so so much!

Man… have you ever felt so betrayed that it leaves you depressed for the rest of the day? That’s what happened to me here. I became a vegetarian when I was 14 and this was probably the only restaurant back then that was fully vegetarian. At the time, I really enjoyed their dishes, and had a lot of respect for the food they served here. However, I then left for San Diego and when I do visit Sacramento, I usually head over to Loving Hut to get my asian fix. Unfortunately, my family does not live in Elk Grove anymore, so my sister and I decided to pay Andy a visit, after a very long hiatus. First of all, PLEASEHIREMOREWORKERS! The dude that was waiting all of the tables, working the cash register, greeting new customers and seating them, basically doing everything but cooking the food was nice, polite,… and that’s it. He was not readily available when we needed him or when another table needed him. It was lunch time and it wasn’t even that busy but c’mon, at least hire a second person to lend this poor dude a hand! I had to grab the menu myself for my sister and I because the dude was too busy. Second, please be respectful to your dishes… my sister ordered the Udon noodles and no, she did not get udon noodles. She got drunken noodles in a soup with tomatoes… and cauliflower… I ordered the Bun Hue style noodles and yes, my soup also had tomatoes in it. And it was NOT the bun hue broth that we all know and love. The broth had carrots, cauliflower, and BEANSPROUTS! I HATE it when restaurants put in bean sprouts, peppermint leaves, and basil in it for you. They should have an herb plate with the fixings separate from your meal so you can put in the right amount yourself(this is usually the tradition of Vietnamese food). I spent more time fishing out the things I didn’t like than actually eating them. And it wasn’t even good. Such disappointment… This establishment needs a lot of work, good luck and good bye.

If there was one wish, than it would be for Andy’s to go completely vegan! The food here is high quality and delish. Think of Anna’s on a upscale. They offer many Thai comfort foods and turn them into beautiful plates. If you never been here, than I recommend you get their sampler to try all their tasty app’s they have to offer. The noodle dishes are my absolute favorite at Andy’s. Full of flavor and texture. Definiely worth the(sometimes) long wait.

I treated my veggie roommate here for dinner, and I am just in love with the place. Not only is it just good asian fusion, its an experience. Trying faux meats, drinking magical elixers, and being amused by the zen menu names. I had the lemongrass chicken, topped with brown rice and solid salad… very pleased with it! Although I can’t say the chunks tasted like chicken, but definitely tasted better than any tofu I can cook! Roommate’s mongolian beef was tasty too, wih lots of broccoli pieces. I really like how its not overly saucy but still tons of flavor. We ordered a buddah spring roll(without the mushrooms), which paired with a good dipping suace. Also had a pineapple/apple drink, and one of the tastiest juices I’ve ever had. Not too sweet or acidic, really fresh too. I would suggest the entrée equivalent(eg pad thai, uson, phở, etc) to be written next to each of the creative names, just so people can order faster if they know what they want already. Its alot of options to read through otherwise. Our waiter was very soft spoken and it was difficult to hear him sometimes. 15% off for checking in, and I see alot of Groupon deals for this place too. Wish I came here more often when I lived in Sac!

My friend always come here for their Supreme Noodle aka bun bo hue and he lovesssss it so much. Made a stop for dinna and it was actually good! I thought it was another typical Vietnamese vegetarian place at first but it’s not. Everything on the menu is in English! We came on a Sunday so this town was kinda dead and there was barely any shop open. The restaurant itself looks kinda run down from the outside but it’s actually pretty nice inside. Very modern and clean. I love the Buddha display when you first walk inside, very Zen! I bought a groupon $ 25 for $ 16 and it’s for dine in only. We used it with no problem! And if no groupon is available, there’s Unilocal check in for 15% off the entire bill! |Supreme Noodle| $ 9 If you have Vietnamese food often, then you’ll know what bun bo hue is and this dish taste just like it. The soup is soo good and sweet! It’s not even spicy like it’s supposed to but that’s good too. |Self Nuturing Chow Fun| $ 9 It looks good on pictures so I decided to get this and it was good! The noodles were kinda thick but still flavorful. I didn’t like the fake beef too much cause it was kinda salty but the veggies were delicious! |Mandala Fried Rice| $ 10 I had a bit of this and it was alright. The rice was nice and moist but a bit oily for my taste. And it’s lack of flavor, so this dish would need more seasoning to it. The veggies came with it were all good though.

WOW!!! Seriously, WOW! The outside of this building is so misleading. When you step inside the ambiance is incredible. It is modern, zen, and relaxing. It definitely has a very upscale feel. I absolutely love that this place is completely vegetarian. It was so cool to have an entire menu to select from instead of just one or two options. Awesome! I had the Awakening of Faith Rice noodles. Can you say YUMMY! It was a huge bowl of noodles with grilled tofu, shiitake mushrooms, lettuce, cucumbers, sprouts, herbs and a lotus roll. It was absolutely amazing. The tofu had such flavor and the mushrooms were just crazy good. There was a sauce on the side that was scrumptious and I poured that over my noodles. Delish! As a drink I ordered the Ice Ginseng Iron Goddess Oolong Lemon Tea. Yep, it is a mouthful to order but OMG it was good! It was sweet, lemony and refreshing. Will I go back? Oh heck yes I will!

May 8, 2015 Friday at Noon for Lunch 3 Adults Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars Background — I have had this placed bookmarked for a while. Do not remember if it was the ROTD or one of my friends doing a review. But my wife is a Vegetarian so I thought this would be a great place to go while visiting Sacramento. Thanks Unilocal and all my Unilocal friends for helping me find this place. Atmosphere — I had to drive past as there was no parking near it. I was able to find a spot within a block so no biggie. The outside of the place makes it a little sketching looking. You walk into the place is visually stunning. Very clean lines, simple and elegant. Food Drinks — My wife wanted to try several of their teas so I had one ordered for me by her. She made a good choice. I had the Pomegranate infused green tea. I did not read the description so I was surprised when I got a tall glass of cold tea with ice. I could have sipped on that tea all day it was smooth and refreshing. My Main Course — I had the Inner Peace Noodles. For me it reminded me of soup without the broth, maybe that was just because of the rice noodles and I typically have that in the soup. Because there was no broth it was more of a salad. Loved the small pieces of their lotus rolls on the edge, and the rest of the bowl was loaded with fresh vegetables. It was served with a small bowl of a soy vinaigrette sauce. The sauce went well with the noodles and the veggies. Service — They had one server for the whole place, and it was half full and must people were just getting their meal after we sat in the place. He was very polite and was great handling the 15% off Unilocal check in discount. Future — I bet my wife would love to come back here.
