Am-Pm Mini Mart

Not a good area to get gas! We got it and left immediately.
They always have an out of order sign on the bathroom per my HB.
Don’t come unless absolute necessary. Gas is 3.07 per gallon. It’s cheap at other Arco stations too.

ghetto here. a lot of beggers for change and etc.
alot of different characters here meaning crazies.
unsafe here at night and day.

So many things wrong.
1. THe hot foods are left in the case WAY past expiration. I was dumb and bought hot dogs without looking at the little time sticker. They should have been tossed hours ago.
2. Many aggressive panhandlers. When I asked the clerk about the panhandlers he went on a five minute rant about how it was too difficult to get rid of them.
3. 35 cent debit card fee and no option to use credit.
4. the CUBE ice and chip ice things are mis-​labled with big signs.
5. The condiment bar is always dirty.
Confusing stuff
1. Yes there are day laborers every morning. But I respect day labor guys, mostly I don’t feel threatened by them, if they are willing to get up at 6 am to go to work, that is a good thing.
2. A sign for a special for Ben and Jerry ice cream, but when I asked the clerk where is the Ben and Jerry’s he was clueless.
General stuff:
The place is always busy with customers, so I think they can afford to fix the security and cleanliness stuff, but they don’t cuz they don’t care.

I can not stand this place. So I am standing in line and the clerk he is a skinny young black dude looks right past me and says to the ok looking female behind me and says can I help you she gives him the money for her gas and he follows her outside and pumps her gas leaving me standing there. Really this is a gas station not a dating service. I was offended and pissed off. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Convenient location and affordable gas prices. However, I never feel safe!

Right of the freeway. Easy access from both sides to the store. Management tries to do a good job on keeping the store clean and tidy. Watch out for bums asking for money and people trying to sell you CDs. Always a few Hispanics hanging out in the Parking Lot waiting for somebody to roll around and them give them some work (at least they are willing to work). Overall, you will have a pleasant experience if your in and out quickly.

I have to be honest. There are a lot of people hanging outside of this place. There are a lot of lounging around and strangers asking for money. I guess people are looking for work and also the people inside the store that work there are not so friendly. I guess they are not friendly because of the environment.
If you are the type that are scared of strangers and getting mugged… you will not feel comfortable here. I come here because gas was cheap and it was a last resort. I have to say if it is my mind playing tricks on me… GAS burns pretty fast buying it here.
I bought a 2 liter coca cola bottle and it costed me approximately $ 2.99. Geesh! You could buy that for $ 0.99 at a Walmart. Oh well.
Nothing special or spectacular.

Ok we all know this place is in a bad part of town but this place is just scary. The only reason I would even be in this part of town is I work fairly near it. If you stop to get gas you will be hounded by people asking for money. The last time I stopped I was even hit up by a hooker. There are not nearly so many day workers as there were when the last review was written but I think there are more bums and drunks.
Well today, against my better judgment, I went into the store to buy some things for my lunch. Just like always I was overcharged. I should be used to it by now. If something says 2 for a dollar or 75 cents each they will just charge you a buck fifty for two and see if you say anything. They are never friendly but maybe that has more to do with the average customer. This is one of those places you really need to just skip unless you just happen to be into drug addicts and hookers.

Every day of the week, in the morning, you will see… literally… HUNDREDS of people lined up against the fence waiting for work. Every time i drive by in the morning, i see AM PM covered with all these people… scary… Sometimes, they line up across the street, but most of the time, they are at AM PM. Is it the gas? the coffee? TOO MUCH GOOD STUFF? I think not…
Well, on a good note, the gas here is cheap. =) Like all other AM PMs.
When buying gas, make sure you LOCK your doors and keep your belongings close. Too many strange people here. If you are a girl, you will be hit on and undressed in the minds of the hundreds of people staring at you. Also, a lot of peddlers. They always ask for money…(Please go to the welfare department and ask for GA or something). I think they live behind AM PM…
I don’t come here ever. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here either unless this was the last resort.
