Aeration & Dethatching By Dreamscapes

Michael and his son did an awesome job aerating our front and back lawn areas. His device had complete coverage of our grass. He also applied 3 bags of AquaSmart LawnSaver for us which we had purchased. His price is very affordable and we negotiated this over the phone prior to his arrival. He was very punctual and started the job immediately upon arrival.
Michael was very thorough with the entire process and was very educational on the aeration and fertilizing of our lawn. I would definitely have him back next year to aerate. Now all we need is rain!

I called several times and left messages about dethatching without getting a response. Very frustrating. Even though the company is repeatedly listed on the internet, their customer service appears to be non-​existent. This company is unprofessional in that they don’t even return calls.

Called Dreamscapes talked to Michael over the phone to make an appt. He actually came over that same day. Talk about great customer service! Michael was very knowledgeable and answered all of my lawn questions/​concerns… and then some! Scheduled an appt for that same week. Was right on time for appt. Very reasonable pricing. They just finished up aerating my lawn. He was very nice and gave me some tips to getting the lawn looking perfect. I was originally going to do this myself. The cost of renting an aerator was $ 45 for 4 hours, and I was going to have to borrow my dad’s truck. Dreamscapes did my back lawn (the only lawn I have) for $ 50. This is a no-​brainer, ulitimately it is much cheaper and easier to have dreamscapes aerate the lawn. Highly reccommended. Let him do the work and save money. Perfect!

Made appt with Michael for Sun. He said he would show between 2−5pm. At 4:15pm I called to make sure he was on his way. He said the day was busier than he thought and could we do it another time. Didn’t keep his appt and I had to call him to get info which was annoying. Good news is he came the next morning and did a good job. Make sure to confirm appt w him so you’re not waiting around the house like I was!

Had Michael of Dreamscapes come out to and aerate our front and back lawn after seeing good reviews here on Unilocal.I didn’t reach anyone the first time I called, but my message was promptly returned and we scheduled a time. He quoted me a competitive price and took plenty of time to walk the yard, point out some things I can do to improve the lawn/​soil condition, and carefully flagged off all the sprinklers nearby. He did a thorough job with the aerator.
I top dressed all ~6k sq feet of lawn with a few yards of organic compost from Cascade, and overseeded with a dwarf fescue as recommended. It’s been about a month now and the lawn is growing in very thick. The patches I pulled Bermuda and Dallisgrass from are already being filled in by the new seed. Soil seems a lot healthier than it did when we moved in late last summer. With the dense clay on our property, there is little doubt the roots of the lawn were hurting for some air.
I’ll be calling Michael again in the Fall to come out and do it again. Great service, shows up on time, and makes sure the job is done right. Can’t ask for much more.

Michael is awesome! He goes above and beyond. He was very helpful showing me problem drainage areas in my yard.
He only charged $ 75 to aerate my lawn and it’s a good size back yard too.

I loved Dreamscapes the first time I used them (see review below) and I loved them just as much the second time using them. I received the same awesome service and got the same wonderful results! Before calling Michael at Dreamscapes I thoroughly researched the need and options to aerate my lawn. Every lawn expert recommended periodic aeration! I looked into renting the equipment to do it myself verses hiring a professional. Some of the rental companies charged more to rent the machine then it would cost to hire a professional like Dreamscapes. Save yourself the time and hassle… If you appreciate professional, honest, and good value service — Call Michael at Dreamscapes! He answers the phone, gives expert advise, aerated my lawn the day I called, showed up when he said he would and did a great job! I will use his service annually.

I had read that core (not spike) lawn aerating was a good thing to do, especially in clay soil, but I didn’t want to be sold stuff I didn’t need or talked into a monthly lawn care contract. When I called Dreamscapes, I talked to Michael, who told me all about aerating and didn’t try to talk me into a contract. He was great to talk to and I learned a ton about lawn care in that five minute call.
Within two hours they were at my house aerating and fertalizing my lawn. It was just over a hundred dollars for a pretty big front lawn and a medium-​sized back lawn. That seemed like a great deal to me because I was getting ready to rent an aerator from Home Depot in Sac (25 miles away) and it would have been about $ 85 for one day, plus a huge hassle getting in and out of my truck twice. I was thinking of going around to my neighbors and asking them to help in exchange for me aerating their lawns, but in the end, hiring these guys was so easy and cheap. They core (plug) aerated the lawns completely and spread fertilizer, and gave us a bunch of tips on watering and fixing our clay soil over time.
It’s been two weeks now and it’s funny, there’s a definite «line» between the green lawn on our side, and the neighbor’s lawn that isn’t nearly as green.
I’m going to do this every six months or so, and these guys are the ones I’ll be calling.

I called Dreamscapes because my lawn was in dire need of aeration and Home Depot aerator rentals were pricey and required a lot of manual labor. They were able to come out within a day of the phone call, did a great job and for nearly the same cost as renting the machine to do it yourself. You WILL NOT find a better price for this service in the Sac area.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Dreamscapes for your lawn needs. Dreamscapes came out on time, marked all the sprinklers and cleaned up before leaving. It has been a week and my lawn has come back to life! I was able to ask questions and get helpful advice, all of which I have followed. My lawn is green, I am watering less and the weeds are disappearing, all good things!
