If you have acute pain, chronic pain, or no pain we are the spot for you. We provide Sports Massage, Myofacial Release, Active Release (ART), Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point, Functional Therapy, Rocktape (FMT), Neurokinetik Therapy and more. Business Owner

Todd Neider became interested in chiropractic and massage therapy after suffering from various sports related injuries. After doing some research, Todd decided to pursue and career in bodywork. He graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2005 and joined the Elite Spinal and Sports Care family in 2008. Since then Todd has furthered his knowledge, while attending courses in Active Release Therapy, Rock Tape, SFMA, Anatomy in Motion, Neurokinetic Therapy, Restorative Breathing, and Business Management. Todd’s past and current accomplishments include, but are not limited to: Certifications

I was training for the CIM and started to have some normal knots and slight discomfort when I ran. I found active body work and scheduled my apt. The Monday before my marathon and I was so glad I did! Brandon and Todd took great care of me and knew exactly how to massage specifically for running pains. I asked a lot of questions about certain pains that I felt and Brandon was very knowledgable in answering all of them while educating me on certain muscles. It was well worth the money and I would schedule one again! I have already referred a few people that have tried it and loved it as well!

Even massage therapists need therapists. And the kind of bodywork I need does not come with slippery lavender creams and oily feet.
Instead, it comes with outer worldly, freakishly powerful Todd thumbs, elbows and forearms. It comes with swearing, and some tears, but in the end, I get relief and can get on with my life and my own work.
I have no patience for relaxation massages — I need WORK done. If you use and abuse your muscles, if you are an athlete, and you require specific, intensive, and effective bodywork, then TODD is the man for you.

I have gone to active bodywork for 7+ years. Prior to that, I had gone to a variety of Sport Massage and Clinical Massage Therapy businesses.
I had plenty of positive experiences with other sports therapy businesses, but only achieved moderate results from the treatment.
Todd is extremely knowledgable and experienced, he is attentive to your issues and makes recommendations on areas to focus on during your session to get results. And results is what you get … maximum results.

I have come to Todd at Active Bodywork with at least a dozen different musculoskeletal issues over the last several years, and always find relief and resolution… no matter if from overdoing it at the gym, chronic foot pain, or even headaches. I have had massages all over Sacramento (when i just need to relax), but there is no better place to get physically-​theraputic bodywork. Highly recommend!
