Great buys on the fruits & veggies. The freshness is not always the best but for 99 cents you can’t go wrong. Also great buys on chips, soaps, salsa, teas, frozen and fridge goods, coco nut juice, & batteries.

I came in today and saw a massive improvement in their fresh grocery section! The section was cleaned up and the items were arranged nicely. Bunches of asparagus, lots of clean mushrooms and I saw some yellow squash too, all for 99¢. Am pleasantly surprised. There were still some flies and a few spoiled fruits but not as much as last time I was there. Management has greatly improved things. Hopefully they keep this up!
That and their thanksgiving/​fall décor section is very nice. There were lots of cute gift bags too. Defintely check it out.

i love coming here to find me some fresh produce they sometimes have some name brand produce for only 99 cents and its a good spot to come here to shop for something healthy. but be careful because sometimes they have stuff that might cost per lb for some nice fruits they have. some package stuff could also be more than 99 cents so look at the signs if they cost less or more. if they don’t have a sign for the produce or package items then it is 99 cents.
i also like coming here to buy me some festive items like for vday, 4th of july, xmas, or fall accessories here. i also like the little accessories they have here.
the lines do get long sometimes and might have a long wait too. but i still will come back and search for the treasures.

Great location. Big store. They always have new items in the glassware section. The staff was very nice when I asked where a few items were. Checkout was fast.

This was my first time at this store. I normally don’t frequent but because my HB likes to purchase the spinach salad greens here for 99 cents, he felt the need to purchase it. It is certainly a good buy because normally they fetch a price of 4.00 elsewhere. He’s going back to blending his green healthy smoothies.
I have many a times been at the other 99 cent store on Stockton boulevard. This one is a lot cleaner than that one. My HB pointed out that this one is less frequented that the one on Stockton boulevard. Plus it is smaller too.
Check it out if you happen to be in the area but not on the weekends because I’m sure it gets busy & there can be long lines! I noticed they do have Halloween costumes & decorations. My HB even said Christmas items were for sale already! I told him just a little over two months away!!!

This store is a great addition to our neighborhood. It is clean and organized. The one problem is stuff sells fast. So if you aren’t there on truck delivery days, you are sol. There is a lot of name brand stuff. I bought Kraft Mayo 22 oz for .99 cents. But it had to be used by end of month. Not a big deal. Sometimes the check out lines are very long. But it has gotten better lately. All in all. I good experience.

I thought this store was really filthy. This store needs to be shut down. Bad experience for me. 99 cent store in chico ca was way nicer til they moved to another location. I shop at the dollar trees now. They are a lot cleaner.

I have been shopping at this store since it opened. The food selection is great. Good variety for the right price. I wish that they would offer more food items as they are a better buy than other food places. The produce department is sometimes lacking. They need to improve the quality and selection. Bagged salad section is awesome.
The biggest negative about the place is the wait to checkout. The store needs to do a better job of having more cash registers open. I understand labor costs but waiting in line over five minutes is too long.

I’m glad they opened this store closer to home, instead of me driving to Stockton blvd. I love going to this place probably 2x a week to look for bargains and new items.

This is the newest 99 Cent Store in Sacramento, it just opened yesterday. I decided to check it out during lunch. It’s new, clean, in a slightly better neighborhood than the one on Stockton Blvd, and it had a ton of very interesting items, and lots of brand name foods too. I got a couple ½ gallon cartons of milk (brand name, non-​expired), a couple bags of chips, some toilet bowl cleaning blue tabs, a couple shelf-​stable bottles of 100% orange juice, and a few pairs of drugstore brand and Target brand (Merona) sun glasses for the car. I plan to go back and check out what they have regularly. I saw Quaker granola bars, other brand name cereals, crackers, and chips too. A good selection, and a much better variety and value compared to Dollar Tree.
