***beware*** I don’t think this is a legit dispensary — they don’t accept recommendation letters from licensed California doctors.
You should know you don’t have to pay for a card.
A recommendation letter from any licensed California Doctor, who is treating you for a condition, is all you need.
I presented my California ID and recommendation letter and the security guard came back and told me they won’t accept the letter. He gave me a referral card to 420 med evaluations and said I needed to pay to get the card. Nope don’t need to pay someone else.
2 stars — there was lots of parking.

Neat home and WANT to love this place, but unfortunately good service is too much to ask for.

I have been here many times, I am a fan of the express take out. It is a great service to offer! Although I have placed at least 4 orders in the past few months and when I get there I am told that they are out of what I ordered only once did they call me to tell me this as I was in my way. The bar room staff totally friendly, the reception is a hit or miss. The product is good and priced decently. The location is great, but I am weary of using their express order. Check them out overall it is a good place

This dispensary has great flower and waxes! Sometimes they have deals on special days so you want to always check that out in the mornings on here and sign up to the VIP for texts! If you haven’t already come visit this place!

Have never been involved in anything like this before. First visit first everything in terms of MMJ. Anyway Lucy was very friendly and very helpful with recommendations. She gave me a quick tour of the selections and varieties and explained the differences as well as dosage explanations. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the amazing first experience!

First time customer here and I was made to feel very welcome. The staff was friendly and inviting. My bud tender, Shannon, was very helpful in providing information about the products I was interested in. Will definitely be back again. 4 stars because it didn’t seem like they had a large variety of product, but definitely good deals.

Super unprofessional staff. Every time I go here I have problems. Whether it’s not putting purchases in my bag, or product weighing less than it should.
They also sell products they do not honor manufacturers guarantee on.
The staff clearly doesn’t care about patient satisfaction or quality.
Very disappointing. Would not recommend. It’s worth driving across town just to have friendly staff that wont short me.

This is only the second dispensary I’ve ever been to and I won’t need to go to more because this place was great. I will always come here for the amazing customer service. I’m a new patient and they took their time explaining everything to me because they noticed I was obviously new and confused. Everyone was polite, no one talked down to me or seemed annoyed by my questions like a lot of other shops. Plus they have text deals all the time that are pretty damn generous. This is the best spot in town!!!

If your looking for alright quality with standard price, look no other. I know they are new, but they do not have much selection for flower and not much variety. I’m sure they will get getting lots more soon. Service is cool, just hope they get better quality and variety soon.

It’s like an edgy hotel spa. It’s nice and I felt comfortable immediately when walking in, security guards are awesome and it’s gated so it felt secure. After check in I met the bud tender and he was extremely helpful and kind. For the life of me cannot remember his name but he was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Very disappointed with a recent experience here. I had been coming here for several months and had always been impressed with the quality of the products and the knowledge of the bud tenders. However, I have to change my tune. I referred my mom, who is a cancer patient that uses CBD to treat her pain. She is not comfortable smoking/​vaping her meds so she relies on tinctures and edibles. She gave the budtender all of this information and was sold what she was told was a high-​CBD low-​THC tincture. When she got home, she opened the package and found a syringe full of liquid! Neither of us had ever seen a tincture or edible in a syringe before and there were no instructions on the unit. She called to ask wtf they sold her and they told her it was product for a vaporizer, which she doesn’t even have and had let the bud tender KNOW when asking for recommendations for a product at the time of purchase! They hurried her off the phone basically saying too bad, so sad you wasted $ 80.
Obviously this place doesn’t care about the REAL medical marijuana patients, cancer patients who aren’t trying to catch a buzz but are trying to alleviate their pain and nausea. Way to go. If you are a medical marijuana patient, I suggest you go to All About Wellness on 19^th st or A Therapeutic Alternative in east Sac, where she has received excellent care in the past.

Just recently returned to this place after having had mix results my last visit.
And I’m definitely glad I did this time around it wasn’t as crazy and people in the back were knowledgeable about the questions I had. Even picked up a cool rig.
Great meds, concentrates are bomb! Will be coming back.

Haven’t tried the medicine yet– just left and all I’ve got to say is this place is absolutely stunning! People are very professional and knowledgeable about their products and their products look and smell wonderful.

Pretty decent place and great location with a lot of parking. After getting through security and you walk inside it looks like a fancy hotel and they offer you water and snacks while getting checked in and waiting for the bud room. The staff is friendly and it’s always busy but if you’re willing to wait it’s worth it.
The bud quality is pretty good and the selection is decent but not as wide of a selection as other places but everything they have is good quality. They have never let me down with the quality.
They seem to have events going on almost all the time with specials and food trucks, raffles and almost everything you can think of which is cool and not like other places I have been to. The only reason I had to deduct a star is because the bud is pre packaged and I’m not really a fan of that however, when I get home and slap it on the scale it does weigh out.
This place is a bit newer and the building has definitely been updated since the last dispensary had the place. Since its in such a convenient location, and with nice bud I hope they stick around.

This place is definitely in my top 5 in town. The building and parking is spacious and the waiting room is welcoming with awesome snacks while you wait to go into the back. Front desk and budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Budtenders are seriously the nicest and most patient people to talk with (I’ve seen some budtenders at other locations treats members like a assembly line and send you on your way, these guys don’t do that) This place has a lot of variety of oils and edibles, would love to see the flower selection expanded just a tad though. They also have a nice pipe collection for your meds. (Would also like to see glass jars on sale too) security is nice and all around good vibes.

When looking through dispensaries on Unilocal,I completely dismissed this place because, honestly, I just didn’t like the other reviews. Maybe I was in a rude mood. Maybe I needed to hit up a dispensary.
I found this place again (although I didn’t realize it until coming to write this review right now) in the back pages of the Sacramento News and Review, which has a weed map and advertisements for doctors and clubs in every edition. 1841 was running the best new patient special of anyone– 50% off. I’d heard that clubs are super expensive so I was like, awesome, I might be able to afford half off of super expensive.
I did have some trouble finding the place, as my GPS kept trying to take me to my sister’s house in Tucson. While it is true that I could get a better deal in Tucson, no one wants to eff with those dry Tucson flowers.
This was my first time coming to a dispensary. For some reason I had this idea that my experience would be either extremely amazing or extremely horrendous. Like I was either going to be greeted by Bernie Sanders holding a loaded bong, or by an old lady handing me a flyer for her Keep Off The Grass club’s «Pot-​less Pot-​luck.» In reality, I was greeted by three pretty chill security guards who quickly checked my paperwork and let me in.
The receptionist hated my guts. I will go so far as to say that she was definitely not stoned. I mean she was seriously just aggressively glaring at me the entire time I was there. She told me that the special had ended, which kind of upset me, because I had just looked at the paper and then drove straight here. So I just pulled up the ad on my phone and showed her, and the other receptionist must have known this one was having a bad day– because she came up and was like, yeah, we can totally still do that for you. Her attitude definitely seemed to say, «Sorry for my co-worker’s poor performance.» Cool. Also, they processed my referral and paperwork ridiculously fast. Like, almost instantly.
They had probably like 16 – 20 strains on display, as well as wax, lotions, edibles, even Epsom salts. The bud-​tender tried to talk me into becoming a bath person to help soothe my back pain. I was like, do I look like someone who is going to clean her bathtub today? Odds are low. On the other hand, at $ 12, they were less expensive than I would expect. An equally sized bottle of Philosophy costs more than that.
I was looking at the Romulan and Cherry Pie, which were the two cheapest strains at the time. Prices ranged from about $ 160/​oz to $ 400/​oz. Anyways, I’m standing there staring at the glass, and the bud-​tender is like, would you like to smell that? And I’m like, you can do that? And then suddenly I had a million questions about everything which both bud-​tenders were pretty cool about answering.
After another period of indecisiveness from me, the bud-​tender made the suggestion of trying this much of this and this much of that, and then I looked at him in awe, because the thought of procuring multiple strains in one transaction is something that had never occurred to me before. Also, it was not any more expensive to buy things in smaller quantities, so why not mix it up?
Uhhhh… what were we talking about?
